Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Výhody: "I saw their Ad in their inflight magazine, didn't know they were rated #1 6 years in a row. Was pleasantly surprised on how good they were. Comfortable seats, excellent on board service, food better than average, pleasant and professional staff. Try them, you won't be disappointed"

Nevýhody: "Everything was truly great except for some passengers who felt they could stand in the aisles (and anywhere else they wanted) and lean over people while they were eating as their meals with religious dietary restrictions had already been served. I feel the flight crew could have handled them a little better. Still thought the rest of the service was fantastic."
Výhody: "I used the prime lounge in Istanbul and when it was time to go, I was able to practically walk on the plane without any wait. The seats were comfy and didn't have a ton of legroom but it wasn't bad. The staff we're friendly and helpful. The in-flight entertainment had a pretty impressive selection and had one of the best-designed interfaces I've seen so far (and I've ridden a variety of airlines). Last and most important, the food was hands down the BEST I've had on a plane. Turkish is killing it, they're my new go-to airline!"
Nevýhody: "I really can't complain about anything, even if I try! Maybe the touch screen sensitivity on the entertainment console seemed a little off, but that's just nitpicking"

Nevýhody: "I am a frequent user of Turkish Airlines and I enjoy the good service they offer BUT I have never understood why they just can't get boarding better organised. Regardless of what destination I have been going to, boarding time with Turkish is a nightmare, it is always chaotic and provisions for priority boarding for premium class passengers is a joke, often non-existent. All other services are great but this one element takes the joy out of what would otherwise be a great airline."

Výhody: "It was a 12 or 13 hour flight and except for sitting too much we were never uncomfortable. The service level made me think we were back in the 80's. Hot towels, attentive service, tons of food and free drinks. There was actually one meal that we would have eaten even if it wasn't on a plane. They gave out full size blankets and pretty fluffy pillows. (I bring our own anymore, because you never know if you will get one on most airlines, and if you do they're usually useless). Their entertainment system was amazing. We caught up on all the recently released movies that we've wanted to see for FREE! If only Netflix had this quality of movie offerings. They had fresh flowers in the huge bathrooms. It's that type of attention to detail you just really don't see anymore."

Nevýhody: "The only good part about the trip was the food, drinks, and entertainment. Our original flight was canceled 11 hours before departure so this gave us a layover in Turkey for 16 hours instead of our originally planned 4 hours. Turkish airlines personnel did not compensate us anything for the cancellation of the flight. This caused us to try and sleep in the airport which was packed because of hundreds of flight cancellations because of snow. There were still flights going out but Turkish Airlines chose which ones were more important and ours did not make the list."

Deplaning by row groups due to covid was a joke - we were then crammed into a bus to the Munich intl terminal. Wifi did not work at all on the 9 hr flight.

Nevýhody: "Muslim meal does not mean all Muslims eat curry. It’s rediculous that we cant have a decent English breakfast instead you get curry or some form of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper. Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

The desk agent at check-in wouldn't check my second bag and didn't know how much the fee even was for the second bag. She was not exactly pleasant, which might have been because it was 430 in the morning but still. I just ended up carrying on two pretty big bags. The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

Nevýhody: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
Nevýhody: "Flight was delayed by 1h30min, so we arrived very late"

Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."
Nevýhody: "We paid for Business Class from JFK to TLV. The flight to Tel Aviv was in a small plane with 3 across seats that hardly reclined. We are most unhappy and will complain to American Express Platinum Card."

Nevýhody: "The premium economy seat is not reclined at all. The neighbor's seat is too much flexible. This is a maintenance problem. We report these problems to the crew, though there ignored... I should have chosen an economy class seat."

Nevýhody: "Unorganized boarding process and minimal info or announcements regarding delay. Failure to respect SkyPriority status at boarding were disappointing. (Staff allowed it to be a bit pushy and chaotic and people were able to force their way in line, ahead of those who had been waiting in line.) Seats were okay but no recline and underseat storage was small. (Backpack wouldn't fit underseat and had to be stored in overhead.) Passengers crowding from back of plane upon arrival made it hard to deplane and felt rude."

Výhody: "Traveled fron SFO to CDG on AF in business class on an A 380. Lounge in SFO was smallish and not many choices in the food bar. Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."
Nevýhody: "Arriving in CDG and facing a slow immigration with the passengers of this huge plane. I didn't care for the baggage delivery system. We were waiting for an hour only to realize that the arrival port for our luggage was changed."
Výhody: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

Nevýhody: "It was raining in Prague so I can understand that luggage is going to get wet. But when we opened our luggage at least half of our clothes were wet. It would seem that the luggage sat out for quite a while prior to departure for that much soaking of clothes. Fortunately we are staying in Paris for a few days and can get our clothes dried out."

Výhody: "I didn't feel cramped in a Window Seat. Two meals were served during the flight. It was nice to get back to being fed something other than skippy snacks on an airline flight."
Nevýhody: "I was ignored over and over again as ice cream, drinks and snacks were offer by the crew. It would have been nice if some would ask me before falling asleep if I wanted to be roused for snacks and desserts. After being on back to back flights of more than 10 hours each it would be considerate for the crew to be aware of my length of travel and to make sure they don't assume my resting my eyes is the same as me being asleep. Even when I was awake it appeared I was being overlooked, ignored and left out of complimentary services I saw other receiving....my bad for not asking to be noticed."

Nevýhody: "we paid for two seats together (one aisle and one middle) an exit row with extra legroom from paris to LA. but when we got to Prague they had one of us in the middle seat in the exit row and the other in a completely different part of the plane, also a middle row. The folks in Prague couldn't fix this, they moved one ticket to a different exit row, not together, different part of the plane. In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

Nevýhody: "I did not like the lack of complementary coffee or other drink for a two hour flight, especially at that time of the morning. Coffee was available, but only for a price, as were other food items. This was unexpected and certainly not appreciated."
Nevýhody: "Sat near gate waiting 15 min for ground crew. Flight was on-time and weather fine so there was no reason for a crew not to be there. Then sat at gate because no attendant available to move the jetway. Again, poor planning or cut staff to save money at the cost of timely service."

Nevýhody: "Old, dirty planes with bad enterainment systems and mediocre food and drink offerings. With the price of a ticket more than Emirates, KLM and other airlines, always really suprised the overall crappy hardware, infrastructure on planes etc. When can we get a decent plane to fly the long haul flights. And an actual entertainment system like to competitors?"

Nevýhody: "There was an abusive passenger sitting behind me that kicked my chair the entire flight. They were angry that they didn't have more space and that I wanted to have my seat back. I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew knew what was happening and tried to get the other passenger to stop but the passenger persisted. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."

Checked in 24 hours to connecting flight to London or 30 hours prior actual flight from London. Airline indicated that plane had only one middle seat. Tried to get a better seat at airport, but BA ground crew did not even check and said flight was full. Yet my one of my fellow passengers was able to get window seat without extra pay 3 hours after I was denied. Sardine city for 7 hour flight that turned 8 hours."

Nevýhody: "A lot of stress: our 1st leg IAD to Dublin was cancelled, than we got 2 set of tickets rebooked. On the way back there was a stress since we had a "problem with the ticket" Apparently the Aer Lingus made all those mistakes."

Nevýhody: "We flew with BA from Prague via Heathrow to San Diego on May 30 just day after they started operating normally after computer glitch. From Prague we were on time, When boarding in London started we were told to sit down again claiming Boeing 777 had equipment problem and they were waiting for parts to fix it. Our departure was delayed by 1 hour. Seats in economy class are really cramped so when seats are declined person behind can not eat without banging head into the back rest. Difficult to get in and out of seat as well. Arm rests do not come all the way up so one has to squat to avoid being hit by arm rest. Not very pleasant on 11 hour long flight. Joe"

Nevýhody: "The check in process from Prague to London to Dallas was inefficient. Too few agents, minimal direction from the representative guiding the line. Also, there were no food/beverage option unless you paid for them! No coffee etc on a 650a flight unless it was purchased. Ridiculous"
Nevýhody: "Prague to London flight First I was surprised and disappointed to find out there were so many extra fees. They get you to buy the ticket with a cheaper price and then hit you with all the extra fees e.g. choosing a seat, luggage, food, drinks, you will pay for everything except the flight. The second thing is that when I did go to the BA website on 5 different occasions to pay for my luggage and in order to get a cheaper rate for doing it online before check-in, it gave me a message that the site to do it was not working and that I needed to pay for it at the airport check-in. When I went to check-in at the airport the ticket agent seemed annoyed that I had luggage to check in when I hadn't registered it online. When I told her that the site was down and I wasn't able to do it before hand, she showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead she proceeded to charge me for checking my luggage. It was an outrageous amount of over $80 USD. I have never in all my travels around the world been charged for my luggage. I only travel with one carry on and one medium size check luggage because of my extensive travel. I know charging for luggage may be something more airlines will start doing but I did not think that BA would be one of them. I also would have appreciated some compensation for theirsite being down and not being able to get a discount on the fee because I couldn’t check it online. I am extremely disappointed with my BA experience and will never fly with them again. That is unfortunate for them since I am in the process of traveling around the world for the next few years while writing a travel blog and book. I will definitely publish my review and experience in detail, which I am sure will influence my readers and followers."
