Nevýhody: "Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

On the SFO-BUD flight, the connection is through Istanbul, but the flight time is the same 15 hours, as on the SFO-ZRH-BUD route. In addition, two checked bags are free in coach."

Výhody: "The crew fed us well throughout the flight--and we got free wine with dinner. The food was pretty good for airplane food. We got fresh dinner rolls, salad, dessert, and Swiss cheese. We got ice cream part way through the trip. I loved that we got a piece of Swiss chocolate on each leg of the journey. The crew was friendly. There was a screen at each seat where you could watch movies or TV, listen to music, or track your flight. The entertainment was free, and the crew provided free earphones. Blankets and pillows were provided."
Nevýhody: "Like most planes, there was not enough leg room. It makes it pretty uncomfortable for an 11-1/2 hour flight. The boarding was a little confusing, but no serious issues."

And the fellow next to me, in the middle, was over 6 feet and was VERY uncomfortable, even though he had legroom. There were good options for entertainment, but it was unreliable and had to be restarted once. Also, the screen was terrible quality and I could not see no matter how I adjust the screen angle or the light."

Nevýhody: "The seats are terrible. Narrow, the armrests edgy and only partially movable. A large metal box under the seat takes away 2/3 of the legroom. The entertainment system is outdated, screen has no contrast and can only be viewed at a straight angle, which is impossible as soon as the seat is reclined."
Výhody: "The crew did a great job of handling our 2-hour delay in starting from Zurich - we were kept updated on what was happening, the aircraft was at a comfortable temperature (not too hot, not too cold), and we were given water during the wait. Also, during the flight, the crew kept coming through with more water, which was VERY NICE! Plus, the moist towels prior to landing. It makes a big difference in comfort levels for such a long flight."
Nevýhody: "The on-board entertainment system was old and very clumsy to handle (with the embedded control in the arm rest). Also, it crashed on me two times and had to be re-booted, which was frustrating and took a long time every time it happened."

Nevýhody: "There was no indication of what line went where while in the boarding process. Nobody told us that we needed to get a blue stamp (??) on our boarding ticket, for what I still don't know. So then we needed to get in ANOTHER line and get the stamp and then stand in line AGAIN just to get on the plane! For being Swiss you'd think you'd have this part down AT LEAST! Boarding by seat number would have been a better idea. Everybody was all over the place getting their bags stored above."

Nevýhody: "My partner & I were given separate seats. We tired to reserve our seats online according to instructions & time but the online registration wasn't working properly. We had to wait til we were at the airport to do that. When checking in we were told we had to wait til onboard? Then once on board told no. So we were not able to sit together & weren't even in the same area of the plane. We also had an old plane & seats very uncomfortable. The movie screen was barely visible so basically u could just listen."
Výhody: "Food was overall not bad. It would have been nice to have more snack options if I was hungry in between meals."
Nevýhody: "Landed early but there was no gate so we just sat on the runway. We also sat on the runway long past when we were supposed to arrive. I'm not sure why there still was no gate when we passed the time that we were supposed to arrive. There were also no power outlets in the plane. For such a long flight, it would be great to have power outlets to charge devices while flying. Flight was also kept very cold. Not very good entertainment options."

Nevýhody: "All airlines are doing this—we're seated closer and closer together, but the seats are the same. They recline just as much, and the screens pivot as little. And when you have screens that darken at an angle, when the person in front of you leans back, not only is their head in your lap, but you can't see your screen at all. I hate that it's on passengers to decide that it's rude to lean back, when it's the function of the chair. Besides, barely anyone considers it rude. So I was uncomfortable and cramped (and yes, I asked the kid in front of me if she would please move her chair up just a little bit as a favor, but she said she leaned back because the guy in front of her leaned back). Nice kid. I'm not a big guy. Finally home with a horrible neck cramp and a sore tailbone."

Nevýhody: "The security process in the Prague airport is so ridiculous. There are security agents who screen you in the baggage drop off line that makes the line take a very long time. Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Nevýhody: "Look, if your kid is so young that he can’t get in a plane without screaming for four hours, you shouldn’t bring him on a plane and subject 200 people to that. It’s rude and selfish."

Seatbelt broken. Stuck in back of plane window seat and was supposed to be “happy”. I was brilliantly ignored by crew. Seat back entertainment broken snd flight crew never answered the call button. Got to watch bag handlers throw and drop luggage like true gorillas. Delta, this time you truely are the worst. Wont book you again."

Nevýhody: "Seems like there are legacy "attitude" issues with the crew. I sat on the aisle yesterday, and SEVERAL times I was bumped, quite rudely, by passing crew. In one instance, as they passed to pick up trash, they took two of my three items. They started walking on, and I tapped them as they passed to pick up the third. She brusquely turned and said: don't touch me to get my attention. No please; quite rude, and unnecessary."

Nevýhody: "We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."
Výhody: "Both flights were on-time, no gate changes. Staff was friendly enough, and seat back entertainment was appreciated. Everything went as you always hope it does for flights!"

Disembarking was extremely time consuming; there were few signs instructing connecting passengers where to go; and the employees of the airport were extremely unhelpful and gave conflicting information. I made my flight with only minutes to spare after going through two security and passport checkpoints and sprinting an entire wing of the airport. I will never fly through Ataturk (or anywhere in Turkey) again."
Nevýhody: "Staff seemed to not care about passengers. Could partially be a language/cultural barrier, but i have consistently noticed staff just want to push through their tasks. Actual service is not a priority it seems. Another issue, often times they run out of food."

The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."
Výhody: "Fantastic onboard entertainment. Lots of current movies and tv shows to watch. Music was available, too. Even a camera under the plane to see what you’re flying over...usually clouds. USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."
Nevýhody: "We were subjected to at least five security checks after our transfer in Istanbul. At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

Other airlines (Vueling, Air Europa) checked same bag as courtely, did not charge. First and last time flying Austrian."

They were understaffed and staff to peer to be stressed and fatigued. The seats were small and cramped and not well padded in the economy section. We are going to be flying on Lufthansa in the spring and will hope that their services are better than what we experienced on Austrian air."

Nevýhody: "Kayak sent me an email at 5:16am for an 8:15 am flight titled, "Austrian Airlines flight #704 from PRG on time". It was in fact cancelled. Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

Nevýhody: "I have the 'Economy Class' on the tickets. At check-in at the airport we wrote "economy light" on the boarding pass and want to pay for the first baggage. I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."

Nevýhody: "No matter what you try to order on the airplane is totally disgusting. If it's not overloaded with cheese and tomato sauce then it's overcompensated with spices (salt or chili). I will never understand why it is so hard to provide simple, fresh and enjoyable meals. Chairs in economy are rarely cleaned up and one can see on the cushions that they are worn out and have lost their padding making the seats very uncomfortable. There was no foot rest available (which is such a simple addition that helps a lot) and the "holder pocket" on the seat in front was a simple net completely useless. Tables were dirty suggesting they were never cleaned and disinfected. Knowing that the highest source of viruses are the tray tables and the pockets in front I would expect attention to be focused on those- it not only impacts the health of the traveler but more important that of the crew. Why is it so hard to think of this business two fold: make revenue but mostly be kind to humans."

When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

The extra cushion attached to the chairs behind our heads made the chairs very uncomfortable pushing our heads too far forward. Not only was it difficult to sleep, it ended up giving me a terrible back and neck ache. The flight from Dubrovnik to Munich didn't have this extra cushion but the flight from Munich to San Francisco did. It's a terrible feature and should be removed. Lastly, the food on this flight was awful and it made me sick. I traveled in Croatia and Montenegro for 2 weeks and didn't get sick once but I got sick from the airline food on the way home, that's pretty disgusting."
