Aegean needs to bring back hot meals and drink offer as before COVID!

No alcohol on the plane anymore. A glass of wine back in the day would make the flight much more enjoyable

Quality of the food is poor. No wine served on the board anymore.

Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

Positive: The flight was on time, which is quite a rarity, especially for low-cost carriers. The flight attendants "upgraded" me to an extra legroom seat (although it was more for practical reasons, as they needed someone by the emergency exit). Negative: In full Covid-19 pandemic wave, most of the passengers were checked for boarding, but instead of either being allowed to directly board the plane or at least to wait in front of the boarding gate at a relatively safe distance, everyone was crammed into a tiny space between the boarding desk and the actual gate. I'm not sure I wouldn't been comfortable being piled together with 150 other people in a little over 50sqm in "normal" times, let alone during a pandemic. Also, despite the plane only being at around 2/3 capacity and most of the extra legroom seats being unoccupied, the flight attendants were very reluctant to allow a fellow travel companion to sit in the same extra legroom row with me, because "these seats cost more than the regular seats", which I thought was very petty (regardless of whether it was company policy or the attendants' own rigid attitude towards the situation).

There was a problem with the website so we couldn't check in online and we had tried to change our flight a few days earlier but the website again didn't work, we tried to call a call centre whose number was on there, didn't work."

Výhody: "I asked for a cup of water for my child and they gave me a bottled water. Then they charged me 2.50 euros. Their credit card processing machine was not working properly, which was frustrating: the flight attendant got frustrated and had to come back again until she can process my payment."
Nevýhody: "I didn't check in, in advance as when logging on to the airline I needed a code. I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Nevýhody: "Told our bag was too big even though we'd paid for a large carry on, which we already knew fit in the overhead compartment (plane was an airbus A320). We were then required to check our bags, but not until after we were told to combine our personal item with our large carry on bag & then told that it was too big. instead of crediting us the amount we'd already paid (€20), we were charged the full checked bag fee of €55. The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."
Výhody: "Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience."
Nevýhody: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."
Výhody: "The plane and crew from Pilots to Flight staff more than perfect. We was kept informed all the way as take off was perfect, and the landing at London Luton was the best have ever had as you normally land land then get an extra hard heavy jerk to slow us down extra hard braking. The Pilots of W6 4503 on 23rd of August 2017 is a credit to your company as they landed without the extra hard braking you normally get. Those pilots both of them should teach the other pilots's of your company how both of the pilots did it, and even teach other airline pilots the same IT WAS A VERY SMOOTH LANDING. Give the pilot's a commendation or an award as I would like those pilot's on any of my flights I have in the future. You can let them know it was me that told you to credit them in the highest award they can get please. Let their bosses, and company owners know this as well. So maybe if you call them in the office for something PLEASE CREDIT THEM for the PERFECT LANDING MORE THAN A CREDIT TO YOUR COMPANY as I put that ion bold to enforsize a perfect landing."
Nevýhody: "I was in 24B middle seat which was very cramped as the seat too small and back of seat too low, knee area not enough, no chance of getting to sleep as you cannot get comfortable enough as you cannot even sleep on the tray, kids screaming all around me, people behind me kept kicking moving my seat, people in front of me too loud Bulgarian's. At Varna airport me and others queued up in check in 2 and 3 patiently, and after about 20 minutes queuing two people jumped the queue in check in 1 as the second guy I had to tell him we have been waiting you cannot jump the queue and to go to the back of the queue, and a guy walked straight into check in 1 before check in 2 and 3 was opened and got his bag done, and a big group of people with prams etc was not even in check in lane 1 where they was sorted out well before us queuing as they just turned up and got there bag etc slips on the prams etc. A lot of the information on board was in Bulgarian and not in English only a very small thing NOT TO BLAME THE PLANE STAFF in any way."

I was abroad so chasing up details I should have been provided with / were never told that I should have, were not on the top of my to do list. I only found out that I had to check in online and that I hadn't been provided with these details when I arrived at the airport. I spent 30 minutes on hold before the problem was rectified and I was given my online check in details but it was now top late to check in online (by 5 minutes ). The flight was delayed due to a number of things - a late arrival, people being let onto the plane slowly, people not sitting down and allowing the plane to taxi and leave. This had a knock on effect of making the plane land late and for me to miss my connection (train) so basically through last minute.com not providing me with the correct details regarding the flight and the flight then being delayed it tripled my whole journey back home."

Nevýhody: "I tried for 3 days after I booked my flight to pre pay for 2 mid size bags we were going to check for the flight. In the 10-15 attempts or so, none of them ever went through. I tried everything I could, until finally giving up. I figured I could try my best to explain at the airport. Terrivle plan. The airport charge for 2 bags was 65 euros each! More than the cost of the one way flight! Nobody could help at the airport despite me explaining in detail that I had tried multiple times to book online to save $. Seats were smallest I've ever been in, lines were extremely confusing and unorganized in boarding, and the air conditioning wasn't working. Will never fly wizz air again"

So reached the airport very early but they charged me to check in, that too a ridiculous amount of 100$. The crew was generally rude and non welcoming. The aircraft stops at the middle-of the airport in Budapest and we had to walk a very long stretch to get to the airport in the cold since the plane was not connected to a gate. For sone confusion they stopped boarding in the middle and passengers had to stand in the freezing cold , outside the aircraft , in the middle of the airport for a very long time. Hated the flight. Charges you for every single think you can think and not think off. Every passenger seemed frustrated"

Nevýhody: "To start off with there was only ONE person checking people in before the flight, so it took forever. Then the guy at check-in told us we were already supposed to have our boarding passes printed out and that he was not able to print them for us. Basically, it was a "figure it out for yourself" sort of situation. We went to another counter, not even directly associated with Ryan, and a very nice gentleman there printed our passes for us. He also seemed really confused as to why the Ryan Air employee wouldn't print them for us. Then, we weren't given a gate assignment until 20 mintues before the time we were supposed to board. How do you expect your customers to be prepared if you can't even tell them where they are supposed to go until the last minute? Then they made us board a bus to take us to the plane on the tarmac which was not a big deal. But they made us stand on the bus for 20+ mintues before they took us over to the plan. The bus was completely full, so it's not like they were waiting to load more passengers. The doors to the bus were open, so it was freezing cold (our flight was late at night) and we were forced to breath in exhaust fumes from the bus the entire time! The flight was also an hour delayed!!! I know it's a super cheap ticket, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to fly on an airline that actually knows what they're doing. They loaded the Dublin flight through the same gate we were supposed to be flying from and we’re putting them on buses keeping them there 10 minutes pulling them off the buses, putting them back on the buses. It was an absolute joke. On the flight the cabin crew were slow, again no information at all. Just stood there looking useless and chatting ignoring passenger call lights. We landed in Stansted and they couldn’t open the gate as the ground staff “couldn’t find the key” keeping us on the plane for an extra 10-15 minutes with no AC. Terrible experience would never book Ryanair ever again."

Packed transit tram to plane: priority peopleeaitedin the idling tram while everyone for the flight came down. Never again! Price or not!"

Boarding stared and we waited on the gate for 30+ min along with all other passengers. No communication from crew. No crew or staff working gate. No gate announced until after flight departure time. Overall awful."
Výhody: "I not only had paid for 2 seats last night and paid for, but I also booked 2 bags and paid for them. In all E 37.50 per bag in cargo, then E 8 for each seat, AND I checked in both of is. Upon arrval at Athens airport, I was charged another E 62,50 for your failure to privode me with another boarding pass. Terrible,"

Nevýhody: "Ryanair charges low prices to get you locked into their flight, then if you do not follow their rules exactly then they try to charge you money left and right: 1) Not checking in online 2) Not printing your boarding pass 3) Having too heavy of bags 4) Carry on in not the smallest possible carry on size 5) Any extras during the flight including water"
Výhody: "That the airplane functioned correctly"
Nevýhody: "The check in staff at the booth were rude to me and then short with others at baggage check in Athens. I saw the gate check in employee being short to guests as well. the company culture feels negative in my one experience. To compare with another regional carrier who seemed to have it together, Olympus, the Ryanair staff didn't appear to like their jobs. Also, Ryanair charges for seat assignments even when you don't have a preference. And the checked luggage size restriction is the smallest I've ever seen. I pack light but the bag I would have needed to have a free checked bag is tiny. Again, my money will go to Olypus Air the next time I'm in this region."

Nevýhody: "We paid for priority boarding and then we're put on a bus and told to stand. When the bus stoped everyone dashed to the entrance and we were one of the last people to get on board."

Nevýhody: "I did not appreciate having to obsess for weeks about the luggage restrictions and whether we met them; the fact that we had to arrive with a printed boarding pass in hand. -- when you are traveling that is not easy. The flight turned out to be just fine, but I was expecting to be hit with another charge right up to the moment we got on the plane. Were we just lucky?"

Nevýhody: "I was told I could not use my pillow for take-off, landing and the majority of the in flight. I broke my neck years ago and I need the pillow for neck support especially for takeoff and landings which are always the most painful part. ( Didn't help that the pilot had rough decent and a violent touchdow on landing). I just truly am baffled as to why I was not allowed to use a pillow? We are not talking about some large bed pillow we are talking about a small pillow that takes up no room and is specifically made for flying. I tried using my water bottle as neck support but it was no luck. Flying is already painful enough and to not be allowed to use a pillow which helps to support the neck is truly agregious. I really don't know what to say on why this wasn't allowed but I hope this issue is solved with upper management so the next person with such a problem will Never have to go through this. As for I, I will never use Ryanair again. Truly disappointing."

Nevýhody: "When my incoming flight to Athens on Delta was postponed a day by that airline, the delay was going to cause me to miss my RyanAir flight on 13 August, 2016. Despite two sessions in on-line chat with RyanAir customer service prior to the missed flight, RyanAir refused to re-schedule me. By the time the flight was actually missed, all RyanAir flights on the following day were full and I had to book a flight on Aegean Air. RyanAir is a terrible company with an incomplete web site (no phone number for customer assistance, missing data and hyperlinks that don't work or lead nowhere), unwritten rules which are non-sensual and work to the detriment of customers, and customer assistance representatives on the on-line chat who won't do anything to actually help customers."
Nevýhody: "We were kept waiting for at least 20 minutes in a closed very hot airtight bus as other passengers were late. Why we weren't allowed to board and they didn't go back for the others I don't know"
Výhody: "it was nice shot trip in a small plane"
Nevýhody: "we had to pay extra 110 euro per couple because we didn't check online before 2 hours from the departure which is not the case in any other airlines , we told the girl at the counter that it was only 3 min past the 2 hours plz try to solve it but she refused . at the gate they always try to take our bags from us claiming that the plane was full even if we arrive the 1st people there"

Nevýhody: "Seats did not recline. We were overcharged for bags at the gate in Prague. They do not even provide water unless you pay 3 €. In the end if I had bought a ticket for the same extra cost I paid I would have had a better flight. Never use it again."

I thought if I would check in before the time the flights were to take off they would print if for me at no charge ..I tryed to check in on the machine at the airport but I could not figure it out cause there was no enter button on the machine. Then I went back to ask for help and they did not know how to use it either ."
