I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

I have to take the bag all the way to front. The crew is very lazy and too much attitude, wont fly this flight any more."

I could not check my luggage when I arrived at the airport. I had to sit with my luggage for 3 hours just waiting to check it. So I could not enjoy the 7 hours I had before my flight - to walk around the city, or even shop in the airport. I could not select a seat when I checked in on line - even though it was 20 hours before my flight. Even though I was traveling alone I could only get a middle seat. There were no non-meat food choices for the meal. We could not hear the announcements at boarding - no one knew what was being said."

Nevýhody: "First, the seats were very small and uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping, and, the seat was stuck (couldn't move back). And second, the food tasted horrendous. I have been on many flights, and this was perhaps the worst meal I've ever had. The coffee was bitter enough to make me gag (even after I added cream), and the chicken was flavorless. The boarding process was a mess. It was hectic and unorganized. The flight was delayed an hour, and the crew failed to provide an adequate rationale as to why. Speaking of the crew, they weren't helpful. At one point, I had asked to use the restroom, and I couldn't get in. Again the crew provided no rationale as to why. Then, a few HOURS later, a lady approached me and said I could go "very quickly". This was my first time flying with Emirates and I don't think I'll be flying with them again."

Only found out that the flight may be cancelled from an email from kayak. Eventually got on a flight 6 and a half hours later. When leaving the board still said ek5101 delayed. I am sure if left up to Emirates / Qantas we would still be sitting at Dubai looking at the board."

This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Nevýhody: "Legroom is non-existent. This was by far the most uncomfortable aircraft I have ever flown on, with the possible exception of an Ilyushin 62 operated by Tarom in 1983. I felt bad for the man in front of me, with my knees in his back. That is, until he reclined his seat and put my video screen in my face. Not much to watch anyway, but it was impossible to lean forward at all. Boarding at JFK was rather chaotic."

There were no automated check-in kiosks. you can imagine the chaos. Unfriendly tellers too. On the way back I was selected for a strip search when I checked in at the gate. Because of the flight attendant's willingness to explain the details of our flight, I felt more comfortable during the remainder of the trip."

Nevýhody: "The space between the seats is very small, and the seats recline very far, I found myself a bit too tall to fit in them comfortably, as even reclined my neighbors seat was nearly pressed against my nose. My much shorter girlfriend did not have this problem, and slept through the whole flight. SWISS only has one or two check in agents at LAX, and the wait was about 3hr to process the 300-odd passengers on our 777. I know they're only running a flight or two a day from LA, but I am sure there's a speedier and more efficient way to check us all in."

An example is that I paid extra to reserve seats early and when I went online to do other things, although it showed that I had a seat reserved, it also said no reservations were being taken for the flight in a highlighted notice. Turns out it was just a general blanket message but to me it looked like my seat may have been cancelled. All phone representatives were courteous and helpful although sometimes their accents were strong and challenging to understand but they didn't mind repeating themselves until I understood."

There's a definite language barrier and culture barrier. Customer service is curt and brash at best. When I asked about getting my delta skymiles Again in Moscow, the guy at the counter was annoyed with me, but eventually looked it up."

The portions are small and there is nothing in the way of snacks either available for pickup or served between meals. Look at what Delta does - they keep those leftover items still in the wrapping and add any they did not seve and then keep those in the galley for passengers to help themselves. delta also serves one or two snacks on the intercontinental flights in addition to two meals!"

We finally boarded the flight 5 hours late, and we lost our connection to Hong Kong. Nobody cares to explain or give you a solution. When we arrived to Moscow they said that we had to spent the night at the airport because their hotel was full. We verified at the hotel and they offered us rooms if we wanted to pay for them. The airline employees offered no help and we spent at least 5 hours looking for a solution. We decided to enter Russia and found out that the airline had another hotel in which we spent the night after finding the answer ourselves, because nobody explained anything to us. We wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone. They had passengers sleeping in the floor of the airport with little kids because they didnt offer them a room. They simply dont care about their customers."

But taking off wouldn't have been a viable option. :) Actually, it wasn't that long for the thunderstorms, but something very heavy fell on the top of the plane while we were waiting. Maybe a bowling ball? I was torn between wanting to get off the ground, and being terrified that they would take off without checking out whatever the heck that sound was. Apparently, they did check it out. We pulled over to a maintenance spot and sat there for a while before we took off. If there was anything I didn't like about the flight, it was that there was no announcement about what had happened and what they were doing about it. But I'm nosey."
