Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Nevýhody: "Greek managers who hate Macedonian flyers. On purpose he took our carry-on bags for check-in when I said that I had things that can be broken inside. Both bags were bellow 8 kg and we ware family of 3. Our bags were approved by Luftansa on check-in an we have them as carry-on bags from SFO. Two precious trophies was broken because of this. He did this when he saw our Macedonian passport although first the Luftansa lady said bags are ok. I will never fly with Agean Luftansa ever again."

When I stepped out, and asked him can you do this. Very rudely he said, that this passenger is business class. I didn't believe him, so I asked the second manager if this is correct. He didn't do anything about it. When on the plane, the passenger, was sitting behind me in economy class. Shitty service."

I assumed that since I was entitled to one free piece of luggage from New York to Paris that I wouldn't have to pay any fees going from Paris to Athens. I ended up paying 240.00 euros to check in 4 suitcases! that's absurd!! In addition I couldn't check in online for this flight and therefore was not told via email that I could at least check in my bags via the internet for s reduced fee. This is a kayak issue. Otherwise Aegean was great."
Nevýhody: "The price of the low Aegean Airline ticket from Athens to Prague has a hidden provision that the passenger has to pay 40 euros for any checked-in luggage. So in fact the total cost of the air ticket from Athens to Prague is much higher than the other airlines. Kayak did not do a good job warning me about the luggage charge."
Výhody: "Good food, great service with a smile, clean planes, good boarding process (as long as it was with them.) I don't know what else they could do. I am traveling 100+ times a year mostly in the US and UK and I am very impressed with their service."
Nevýhody: "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

Výhody: "The attendants on Austrian air are all very nice and helpful. You can make any request of them or ask any question and they are happy to help. Great customer service. Arrived on time. Also, very good entertainment options!"
Nevýhody: "The seats are very uncomfortable on Austrian air. The only way I would fly them again would be if I had extra money for the exit rows with more leg room. Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

Nevýhody: "Aircraft was older 777 and lavatories weren't very clean. Upon landing in Vienna, my mobility walker (tagged to be brought up to me at jetway) was sent to my connecting flight to Sophia. The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."
Nevýhody: "The ground crew harassed us for bringing our instruments on board. We fly with instruments for our work and this was the first time we were forced to check certain items and were detained for a period of time so that the ground crew could check with their superiors."
Výhody: "They offered passangers ti move to raws that wete half empty so we will have more room."
Výhody: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

Nevýhody: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Nevýhody: "The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room."

Nevýhody: "55 minute delay was not welcome."
Výhody: "Flight unpleasant. Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."
