Nevýhody: "Frankfurt connecting flights, security, and Passport control are terribly inefficient, with unclear guides to get passengers from B gates to A gates."
Nevýhody: "There was a very loud group teenagers/young adults that kept getting up visiting each other and hitting on other customers seats. After 7 hours of the crew nor anyone else saying anything to them I called the crew & asked them to have them quiet down and sit down. The staff should’ve handled better"

Nevýhody: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

This was was not very pleasant experience as he approached us asking questions why we had so much cabin baggage, when our children were in bathroom and assumed me and my wife had 4 pieces of baggage, when we had 1 each and then left without apologising."

Výhody: "The price was good and connections were well-timed. Lufthansa had great food and service. A glass of pear brandy after dinner? Yes, please! I've seen a few other negative reviews for Lufthansa, but I've always had great experiences with them. The crew and food are top-notch."
Nevýhody: "We had two legs on Lufthansa and the third was Air Canada. Lufthansa was great; great service, great food. But on Air Canada there was no food on a 5-hr international flight, the video screen didn't work well, and the flight attendant was having a rough day. And we took off at least 30 minutes late due to a couple of technical issues."

Nevýhody: "The plane was half way full, i had the seat in the economy section same like a big guy, at one point i asked the flight attendant if i can change my seat to another economy seat (I didn't want a free upgrade) because the guy in my right could fit in his seat with the arm rest down and it was getting uncomfortable for me. She told me if i want a upgrade, witch I refuse to get and didn't help me in any way with the problem that i had. I think for cases like this even though it's an economy seat it still cost 750$ and for a 9h flight witch transformed in a 14h flight because weather condition and fueling problems, flight attendants should be more mindful with the guest confort rather than upselling. Lufthansa it's a geat company with great airplanes but i think that in order to get people to come back you should treat people in the economy class like normal people that pay a price nothing close to the word economy"
Výhody: "free music, video. Plenty to eat and drink. Crew was friendly, accommodating and kept the plane clean on a long fully booked flight."
Nevýhody: "Boarding was a bit chaotic but there wasn't much room to line up a full load of 747 passengers. They didn't have my vegetarian meals as requested. In one case they rounded me up a business class substitute but in the other case all I had to eat was bread and the dessert."

I WILL N E V E R FLY AUSTRIA AIRLINES, OR LUFTHANSA AGAIN! I SENT AN EMAIL TO YOUR CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPT...customer.services@lufthansa 3 times and they failed delivery."
Nevýhody: "terrible flight bad food, the options were finished by the time they reached line 30. the entertainment had 3 old movies in English. wishing the flight will finish because it was very jumpy, after all this it ended in an emergency landing. Lufthansa was very disappointing."

Nevýhody: "Travelers should be aware getting around that terminal is counterintuitive and not efficient at all....Gate was crowded and confused....I don't understand the point if it's design....also not the place to exchange money...use ATM's"
Nevýhody: "I was nauseous during the plane ride walked to back of plane and was told I wasn't allowed to be back there. When that is where the bathrooms were. I asked for an extra pillow when there were 10 free seats the crew never honored my request. Not once did they ask if I was ok. The food was inedible. And I was completely uncomfortable the entire flight."

Nevýhody: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."
Výhody: "I liked that there was a smaller airplane on LED - HEL route: it gives more "feeling of flying" than the bigger planes do."
Nevýhody: "I didn't like the fact that it was not indicated in advance (when the tickets are sold) that LED - HEL route is operated by a different airline, even though that airline is a Finnair's partner. It would have been better to have a complete information up front. But the airplane and crew were excellent."

Výhody: "The shorter flight to Zurich was on a smaller plane than the overseas one, but I'm not sure what model. It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

The attendant said i needed to speak up if i wanted something and i pointed out i did and he said he would get me on the way back but never came back until he was picking up the empties. He said everyone else seemed to get served what was my problem and I pointed out the girl next to me was also skipped to which he turned around and never walked down my aisle again. Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."

Nevýhody: "The boarding on a connection in Reykjavic was the worst I've ever seen in my thousand flights. Customers were very upset wanted to break through the longest boarding line they'd ever seen. I was somewhat concerned for the potential of the passengers getting out of order. Safety became an issue as passengers began threatening to bust the line. "But, our flight leaves in 10 min." was heard again and again as we slowly meandered toward our plane for which we were over 30 min. late. Planes in Reykjavik were held up, though there was no weather problem, because of an overwhelming number of passengers trying to board their connecrtion. We were told this is common. On an eight hour flight we had little food available for purchase. After delivering the food we waited about an hour before the attendants came through to pick up the paper and boxes remaining from the food."
Nevýhody: "I flew yesterday in Seats 1F and 1D on Flight 827 from KEF to CLE. I was disappointed to see the three of the stewards carry on bags above the Saga class seats, so we could not stow our bags close to our seats. We had to go back to row 7 to stow bags."

That is an absurd amount of time to wait for your bags, especially when the crew's bags were unloaded from the plane within 30 minutes of landing."

Nevýhody: "Food offerings for 7.5 hour flight very limited, and not complimentary. This was not communicated when I booked the flight (would have considered using a different airline). Entertainment options were limited compared to other airlines' long-distance offerings. Only two beverage service in 8 hours, no complimentary snacks, and each time I wasn't given the entire can of soda, just poured a small glass. Pretty skimpy. My family members who used different airlines got a much more for their money, with similar ticket price. Flight took off late and we did not make up time in the air so we arrived an hour late."
Výhody: "The staff are nice enough and in Amsterdam, were efficient getting us on the plane. They did board by zones, which was something not evident when I changed planes in Reykjavik. That was total chaos and makes me question if I ever want to fly this airline again."
Nevýhody: "No food, not even a little snack even on longer hauls. No foot rests, average seats. They come through the cabin with this annoying cart full of Icelandic souvenirs and other products."
Výhody: "Checking in and boarding were good especially with on line check in. flights were on time but boarding did take a while. For economy seats the flight was comfortable with helpful flight attendants. Included a blanket and pillow. In flight movies were current with lots of video options."

Would have been fine except for the lack of windows (feels claustrophobic taking off and landing). Boarding was not smooth: no direction on when they started checking in, then waited in separate boarding room for 5-10 minutes with no direction on why we were waiting and for how long. Also wish a meal or snacks were included on a 6 hour flight."

It also added an extra day to get to my final destination and Iveland Air offered nothing as far as a hotel voucher or anything!"

Nevýhody: "Keflavik Airport, where all transfers are done, is a MESS. There are too few jetways, so you wind up waiting for a BUS to take you to the terminal in the COLD. Once through immigration, you are dumped directly in to the DUTY FREE SHOP that you can NOT avoid. Imagine being late for your next flight, and having to steer your carry on baggage around crowded store isles! Then, you manage to find your gate...which is an effort in itself, as there are few signs...and there is ONE agent checking boarding passes of this massive crowd that is not lined up at ALL. Once in the air, Iceland Air performs well. But on the ground, it is nothing less than a MESS."

Nevýhody: "The guy seated next to me was too big for his seat and he took up about 20% of my seat. Absolutely disgusting. My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."
Nevýhody: "No free food even though international flight. Plane delayed on Tarmac. Luggage was left in London and did not make it to Prague until next day."
Nevýhody: "Forced to check carry on bag upon checking into gate despite being among first to arrive and having proper size. Then saw many with larger bags enter after us. There was room in the overhead bins. Frustrated that no reason was provided for mandatory checking of baggage, especially when having alliance priority status."

Výhody: "We didn’t make the flight from London to Rome because of flight delays. there was a huge time delay with our plane sitting on at the terminal and unable to de-board due to scheduling errors. This delay prevented us from making our connection to our next flight and now we are staying in a mediocre hotel for the night and have to wake super early and miss a day of fun at our final desitination. In general I would just move on, but we heard the customer service agent reference that they over booked the two flights to Rome. I guess we were the u lucky customers x two flights because we didn’t get a standby seat in the next flight then the prior agent gave us positive hope that we would get on. Lesson- make sure you have at least 3 hours between connecting flights."

The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

I couldn’t check and and customer service of vayama didn’t want to help and asked me to call Iberia. I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales."

Nevýhody: "got to the check-i counter and didn;t realize my ticket didn't include a checked bag. Was charged 65 pounds.---a bit high in my opinion. The disclosure was not at all prominent. Was surprised and disappointed at the price. Also, was never served water during the overnight flight. Am accustomed to flight attendants coming through the cabin a couple of times with water."

Výhody: "The price of the flight offers is what made me purchase through kayak, but the disconnect with the airline and booking agency left me stranded and ultimately required me to buy a flight directly that will take me almost half a year to pay off not to mention the inconvenience of switching airports and sleeping on a bench for 4hrs."
Nevýhody: "When I missed my flight, the airline would not offer assistance because I booked through an online vendor (webjet through kayak) and when I called webjet they failed to help me rebook, made me buy a new flight, then when I called looking for the flight information, they managed to cancel the flight and then claimed I had requested this when I had done no such thing. On top of this they only offer next calendar day booking so even though they are fully responsible for botching up the second flight I booked. I have talked to 10 individuals from different agencies. Everyone passes blame and responsibility off on someone else. On top of everything else, noone but the American Airlines representatives showed any empathy or concern for my being stranded for the night. Based on this experience, I will do everything in my power to dissuade people from using Kayak, webjet, amadeus and British Airways."
