Service is very good. No complaints.
Checkin was greuling slow and an excruciating experience at the Indira Gandhi international airport. There were only 4 windows open to check in 300 passengers. It took me 50 mins to get to the window. I was there 3+ hours before departure time upon arrival from my domestic flight that arrived on Terminal 2. Security took another hour and no one from the flight ground staff came looking for me to expedite my security unlike the KLM staff. KLM staff was looking for their passengers in the security and immigration area for a good half hour. Also, I tried multiple times the day of my flight to WEB CHECKIN. the Qatar website and APP didn't let me do that either. I nearly missed my flight and was the last one to board!!!! I hope the airlines adapts to handle larger volume of passengers given the type of Airport rules and regulations. For example, IGA at New Delhi haa an additional Immigration step before security that's added an additional 45 min to my time to board the plane. Thank you and I hope a real human actually reads this survey response and it doesn't end up being processed by a computer bot that lacks human compassion and emotional IQ.

These things happen, I understand, but most upsetting was the fact that Qatar Airways provided very little information to those of us missing our flights. While on the plane, when those of us with short layovers mentioned that we may be late, we were told "you'll be fine - they hold the planes for a bit." When we deboarded the plane from New York, we ere wrangled into groups depending on our destinations. Many of us assumed that we were going to be taken to our next flights as we had been told they would be waiting for us. The airline rep in charge of my group refused to tell us any information, however, only admitting after we got confrontational with her that we had missed our flights. She then offered no information about what would happen to us, telling us we'd find out when we got to the rebooking counter. Very unprofessional. I was told that I would have to wait for another 24 hours for the next flight, necessitating that I would spend the night in Qatar. I was put up in a hotel that was decent, but again that offered very little in terms of customer service. We were given an $80 meal allowance, but despite me not using it, I was nickeled and dimed in other aspects to where I ended up paying $20 to help reschedule a flight that I had missed in my destination country. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and mostly due to poor communication and very cold, almost robotic interactions with the QA staff on the ground in Doha."

Great service great food and drink
So now even with a 200€ flight you get only water and a piece of chocolate, no more food. Aircraft was 30 minutes late and no information on connection flights.
Very happy with my flight
Lufthansa can't handle the new challenges the pandemic brought. Next time I would do everything possible not to flight with them.

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

She told me if i want a upgrade, witch I refuse to get and didn't help me in any way with the problem that i had. I think for cases like this even though it's an economy seat it still cost 750$ and for a 9h flight witch transformed in a 14h flight because weather condition and fueling problems, flight attendants should be more mindful with the guest confort rather than upselling. Lufthansa it's a geat company with great airplanes but i think that in order to get people to come back you should treat people in the economy class like normal people that pay a price nothing close to the word economy"

For some reason l was unable to obtain my boarding pass online for both flights. I almost missed my last flight because it took so long to get one at the airport. Also my arm rest wasn’t moving and the movie on an 8 hr flight wasn’t working.

Nevýhody: "The flight from Helsinki arrived 2 hours late to JFK due to mechanical reasons causing some passengers miss their connectiing flights, which is quite normal in airline practice. What was not normal and supper aggravating was the fact that nobody met us at the gate to help us rebook our missed flights. We had to find an AA agent in the departure area and stand in line with other passengers who were checking in to their flight to Jordan. There was no customer service what so ever provided by Finnair."
Výhody: "I liked that there was a smaller airplane on LED - HEL route: it gives more "feeling of flying" than the bigger planes do."
Nevýhody: "I didn't like the fact that it was not indicated in advance (when the tickets are sold) that LED - HEL route is operated by a different airline, even though that airline is a Finnair's partner. It would have been better to have a complete information up front. But the airplane and crew were excellent."

While I was given another boarding pass, I had to have another layover in St. Petersburg, and fly to Moscow from there. The flight turned out to be much longer, and much more exhausting. My overall experience was unpleasant."
Výhody: "The shorter flight to Zurich was on a smaller plane than the overseas one, but I'm not sure what model. It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

Nevýhody: "did not get to Helsinki in first place; flight from Warsaw to Helsinki canceled by Finnair (# 742) put in another plane, from other provider (LOT) going straight to Chicago; was not ready for it; we arrived at airport 2 hr before time of boarding and were rushed to plane going up in 45 min; very stressful; my daughter cried and we had no time to say good bays to family paid for selected seats - money not returned selected special meal - stayed hungry (8 hr fly) because they were not aware about our special needs; Finnair shold take care of it when canceling flight and putting us with other provider."

Výhody: "The economy seating was relatively comfortable and spacious, compared to some other airlines, and we boarded and departed on time. Boarding was quick, if chaotic."
Nevýhody: "They gave us ipads to watch movies, which were old and didn't work well, but were difficult to hold if you also got a tray or a drink. They didn't give you much water and it was hard to get service. The airplane itself looked pretty old and a little run-down."

Nevýhody: "Because the flight was through british airways, extra baggage was $90 much more expensive than Finnair's prices. After paying that before departure to London I recieved an email from British Airways that stated an extra bag for both my flight to London and return flight to San Francisco had been fully paid for. At the airport I was told by British Airways employees that I would have to pay another $90 regardless of what my email said because their official prices are $90 each way not both. I showed them the confirmation I had recieved and all they could say was "that is confusing". There was very little empathy or attempt to help. As a result I was forced to leave the suitcase behind with my acquaintance in London and do an in airport shuffle of all of my belongings. The flight was great but beware emails that may not match up with online info."

Výhody: "I flew with American to London and with British in the way back... British air is such a nicer experience from the food, to the crew, to the entertainment."

Nevýhody: "Twice I was passed up and overlooked for food and drink when they were being provided to all. The attendant said i needed to speak up if i wanted something and i pointed out i did and he said he would get me on the way back but never came back until he was picking up the empties. He said everyone else seemed to get served what was my problem and I pointed out the girl next to me was also skipped to which he turned around and never walked down my aisle again. Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."

Výhody: "We didn’t make the flight from London to Rome because of flight delays. there was a huge time delay with our plane sitting on at the terminal and unable to de-board due to scheduling errors. This delay prevented us from making our connection to our next flight and now we are staying in a mediocre hotel for the night and have to wake super early and miss a day of fun at our final desitination. In general I would just move on, but we heard the customer service agent reference that they over booked the two flights to Rome. I guess we were the u lucky customers x two flights because we didn’t get a standby seat in the next flight then the prior agent gave us positive hope that we would get on. Lesson- make sure you have at least 3 hours between connecting flights."

Nevýhody: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

I couldn’t check and and customer service of vayama didn’t want to help and asked me to call Iberia. I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales."
Výhody: "The entertainment was great. The food was enjoyable and happy to see they offer vegetarian choices. Overall great experience."
Nevýhody: "got to the check-i counter and didn;t realize my ticket didn't include a checked bag. Was charged 65 pounds.---a bit high in my opinion. The disclosure was not at all prominent. Was surprised and disappointed at the price. Also, was never served water during the overnight flight. Am accustomed to flight attendants coming through the cabin a couple of times with water."

Výhody: "The price of the flight offers is what made me purchase through kayak, but the disconnect with the airline and booking agency left me stranded and ultimately required me to buy a flight directly that will take me almost half a year to pay off not to mention the inconvenience of switching airports and sleeping on a bench for 4hrs."
Nevýhody: "When I missed my flight, the airline would not offer assistance because I booked through an online vendor (webjet through kayak) and when I called webjet they failed to help me rebook, made me buy a new flight, then when I called looking for the flight information, they managed to cancel the flight and then claimed I had requested this when I had done no such thing. On top of this they only offer next calendar day booking so even though they are fully responsible for botching up the second flight I booked. I have talked to 10 individuals from different agencies. Everyone passes blame and responsibility off on someone else. On top of everything else, noone but the American Airlines representatives showed any empathy or concern for my being stranded for the night. Based on this experience, I will do everything in my power to dissuade people from using Kayak, webjet, amadeus and British Airways."

Výhody: "we got a 787 dreamliner, the coach seats had good space between rows, so we had enough legroom. food - dinner - was tasty, and breakfast was plain but was completely OK. entertainment was excellent, lots of new movies, and also older movies and TV programs. crew was courteous and very helpful, and boarding was quick and smooth. all in all, a very positive experience."

Nevýhody: "Chair configuration is appalling. Paid extra to sit in exit row of standard economy, seat 30J (middle seat). Leg room was ample, seat width was adequate (for someone of small stature) but separation from neighboring seats was non-existent. My neighbors on either side were both plus-sized. I had nowhere to place my arms and effectively had to sit with my arms folded from SJC to LHR. Room for improvement."
