I love everything about Singapore airlines excepted fact that you cannot reach a person to speak with anything with on the phone that is the only reason I may not use a Singapore Airlines again I tried many times to call someone and cannot speak to a person about some specific problems that I need to speak with an individual about

I have guitar when I fly, they don’t allow to take the guitar with you on board even the bins was empty

We enjoyed the flight very much. The flight staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nevýhody: "The business class seats were smaller than I thought and not so comfortable as the 777. The seats are hard and ungiving and when you sleep on them you really feel it. Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Nevýhody: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Nevýhody: "To my flight specifically, it got adjusted without telling me so I ended up missing my final transfer. I was not given a notification for a flight change. Someone met me at the end of my second flight to tell me I missed my connecting flight. With the adjusted flight Singapore gave me, there was no chance I would have made it. They did purchase a ticket for me on another airline to get to San Francisco in the end."

The entertainment selection was great, boarding process was smooth. However, the staff were so rude, my tray table was broken so had drinks split on me. I had a child coughing on me and kicking me in her sleep. The person in front of me put his seat down so far that my knees were against the seat (I’m only 5’9). The person behind me used her tray table to sleep so I couldn’t put my seat back. She woke up for breakfast, by which point I wanted sleep so I put my seat back and she complained about it so I had to put the seat upright again!

16 hr flights with just 2 meals is ridiculous.

The on ground check in staff could have been more efficient.

Nevýhody: "The interior of the 777-300 was outdated, especially knowing that 777's have gone through an interior overhaul, so I was unfortunate to not be on of those refurbished planes. The food and the Virgin Mojito was not the best as I did expect it to better considering this was a business class. And the ICE tablet and its remote is not the most userfriendly nor responsive to use, as it does get a bit fiddly."

They appear unfamiliar with boarding passes on the phone - wanted paper ones."
Nevýhody: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worst flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."

Nevýhody: "My meal was awful the only option for me was raw vegetables in order to have vegetarian and gluten free... It was carrot, cucumber and celery sticks and some fruit. I had the same meal twice it was very sad meal for 17.5 hrs with no snacks offered either. My partner and another man were forgotten as the meal rounds were being done. The crew seemed a little disorganised. The adverts on the entertainment were annoying."

This is the most uncomfortable, cramped, and smallest seat I have ever flown in...first time flying Emirates...I certainly would never fly again and actual am haunted by the idea of the return flight in 10 days. Not worth it! I'd rather deal with possibly getting dragged off a United flight!"

There was one to two person doing the checked in and it took about 40 minutes to get done, unacceptable. The lines for non on line check in went faster then the on-line and they have four times more people that was in the on-line checked in. In flight, the seat felt liked you're sitting on a rock after a couple of hours. I'm an aircraft mechanic who used to be a flyer with 7,000 flying hours."

One of the staff members was extremely rude and raised her voice at me - this upset me greatly.

Tiny seats, very cramped for 11 hour flight, the food was terrible - only pasta option, full of grease, cheese and carbs, it tastes awful. No other choice. Tiny cups for water/drinks for over 11 hours of flying. Toilets felt dirty.

When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Upon the Munich landing, eight of us were escorted on a special bus, with a special pass controll and on special routs to make sure we get on the plane on time. The dedicated business class check-in line and advance boarding process was smooth - as were both flights. The cabin crew on both flights were very good and all spoke English well. My chief complaint is with the European Business Class seating model (3 across with center seat empty) - which does not afford much more leg room or seat pitch than in economy class. On the plus side you don't have to get in a fist-fight with anyone over the overhead bin storage problem since there are less people in business class and hence more storage space."

The crew members were very rude. One of them literally pushed me and yelled at me for trying to get my baby's bear she forgot in her seat while exiting the plane. The food was very bad. Will never ever book with this airline again.

If they don’t have attitude

This was a rough one. The flight itself was fine, and it was nice to have a little Austrian culture on the way to the US. Check-in with Lufthansa at the Munich airport was very unsatisfying - even worse than checking in to a US domestic flight. Long lines, rude service - the first time in my life that I've had an airport check-in person proactively criticize me. And on top of that, they lost my luggage between Vienna and Newark. I waited at the baggage claim area until all the bags were off, and only at the very end did I discover my bags weren't there. By then it was too late to make my connecting domestic flight, even though I had a nearly two hour layover in Newark. A storm was blowing across the northeast, and the lines to change to a new flight were 50 people long. I ended up spending the night (on my own nickel) at an airport hotel and continuing my flight the next day. Even with an 18 hour delay they still hadn't found a way for my luggage to catch up to me. Overall, a pretty lousy experience.

I will try never to fly Austrian Airlines again. Absolutely unacceptable behavior toward families, mothers with children, senior citizens. I can almost see the smirks and annoyed and superior attitude of staff at the boarding gate when they had to deal with more passengers asking why boarding hasn't started half an hour ago when we were announced it would. No answers, just show me the passport and boarding pass, ok, please go back, we'll let you know, then ignore questions."

We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

Nevýhody: "The entertainment program is a bit slim, to my taste - but I'm not a big consumer of inflight movies, as I prefer to get more sleep when I fly. When compared to the entertainment program on Singapore Airlines, for example, Austrian's own can't really compete."

I was running with a cane, and getting very upset when an airport employee with a cart asked if he could help. He calmed me down and drove me to the correct gate, talking the agent there to make sure it was the right one before he left me there. I wish I had time to get his name because he was very kind and helpful and I don't know what I would have done without him - wouldn't have made the flight, that's for sure. (He was in vicinity of gates F 3 - 13 on Sunday June 11 approximately 5:15 - 5:30pm Vienna time, if anyone wants to know)"
Nevýhody: "Our flight was delayed almost one hour. Even though I had only one hour between flights, I was told (in Split) that all flights would be delayed, so no worries. On the plane, they gave information for some flights; for the rest of us they just said, go to your gate (for connecting flight) as quickly as possible. Flight landed at 5:05pm. When I walked out of plane (I was using a cane; recovering from broken ankle so have some trouble walking distances), there was no board with flight info, just immigration. Finally I saw a flight board, and had 10-15 minutes walk still. Also, signage wasn't great. I called after an Austrian Airline flight attendant who was also leaving, but she never heard me. Finally I found the right direction, still had security to go through. I was running with the cane (not good for my ankle). Essentially there was no help. Until a man driiving one of those carts helped me - I write about him above in what I liked about the flight."

As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."
Výhody: "Catering and service was superb. While linen. Course by course on China, no tray service. The food was exquisite. The wine was acceptable, mid range, with very generous pours in Riedel glassware and always the offer made of would I like anything more? The seperate coffee menu has to be experienced to be believed, basically, it's an authentic Vienna see cafe experience at 30,000 ft."
Nevýhody: "Entertainment selection was fiddly and the offerings meagre compared to the vast libraries found on other carriers, but it was sufficient. More a quibble than a gripe from me. The noise cancelling headsets were good quality noise cancelling, and comfortable. I can't wear some other airlines headsets at all and use my ear pods with an airline adapter jack."

Nevýhody: "I paid a premium to book a direct flight (ages ago) and then had to rerouted last minute (same day) with no reason given other than "it's our fault". I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."
Nevýhody: "Flight was very delayed leaving Sofia which made connecting flights for many people a rush and very stressful. People were pulled to the front of the plane and told to rush to catch their flights. My bag didn't make my connecting flight but Austrian delivered it 2 days later."
