Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Výhody: "The Germans are known for their efficiency and Lufthansa followed through with that. From the check-in process to cabin service, all was top notch. As I was sitting near the front of economy, any "extra" economy plus meals were handed out as to avoid waste. I was the recipient of a delicious Caprese salad. A nice treat."

Nevýhody: "Where to begin? During the booking process, there was no indication my travel partner and I would be flying Air Canada, and not Lufthansa. We were seated in the last row of the plane with painfully little legroom — even for two women of relatively small stature. The plane was not equipped with modern conveniences of operational wifi, music, or any other means of entertainment over the ten-hour flight. We were nearly an hour late to depart, but were unable to hear anything over the speakers regarding the cause for the delay, nor could we hear any of the flight attendants' safety instructions. What we could hear, however, was the surprisingly loud and nearly constant DINNNGGGG of the passengers' call buttons as they summoned the flight attendants. Because the flight was an overnighter, we attempted to sleep, but it was nearly impossible to do so due to the noise. I had earplugs in and could still hear the chimes, which were positioned right above our seats and made for an unpleasant experience and cranky travelers. The food was subpar as expected, but it would've been nice to be surprised with something resembling a fresh piece of fruit or vegetable. The flight crew was polite and one of the attendants took pity on us and offered a complimentary shot of whiskey, which partially alleviated the discomfort of the experience. That man is a saint and we surely hope he is better taken care of by this airline than we were. Overall a miserable experience. Will definitely rethink flying both Lufthansa and Air Canada in the future."

This makes NO SENSE and requires that you retrieve your luggage from baggage claim, and then check in once more and then another trip through security once again! This never happens in the US - one of the few things we get right. Also, I have never had to board a plan from the tarmac since 1970 in the US - why do we have to always wait for and take buses from our check in gate out to the flight line? And how is this ever considered, "Premium Boarding?" It's like a cattle car. Fix these things and I will sing the praises of TAP forever."

I got online to select our meal option for our return trip, and the options are out of control. We have a lacto-ovo-vegetarian option, whatever that is"

They called my name at the gate and told me I had to pay for it. The food wasn’t that great— my potato, or maybe yucca?, was rock hard, and the chicken needed a lot of salt. The seats didn’t decline that well, and the temperature was either freezing or really hot."

Madrid was also delayed and we missed our connection to Venice. We got a new flight from Madrid to Venice and had to wait 5 hours for it. A trip from New Jersey to Venice ended up taking OVER 24 HOURS!!!! Due to the disgraceful disorganization and service of TAP PORTUGA we missed our best friends rehersal dinner a memory we would have loved to have. Extremely disorganized, terrible customer service OH AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR OUR BAGS TWICE to get reimbursed later but I don’t believe anything Tap Portugal says so we’ll see. Staff advice did not align and they were unapologetic for the experience we received."

Nevýhody: "My wife and I arrived to the airport for our honeymoon extremely excited. We had been saving for our trip to Italy for months, and we were finally going to get things started. Everything fell apart when we went to check in and we were told that my wife couldn’t use her ticket because she had changed her last name. We were told that there was no way that the name on the ticket could be changed because of TSA regulations. Of course, we were also told that we could have changed the name had we purchased a more expensive ticket. In other words, we were lied to and told the issue was regulation, when really they wouldn’t help us because we couldn’t afford a more expensive ticket. The only help we were given was the pleasure of paying over $1,500 more to get my wife on the flight. I am in the process of trying to get this refunded, but as of now we have paid twice for my wife to fly, and neither ticket has been refunded. We may have accidentally broken a rule, but the only function that rule seems to have is to make us pay twice for the same seat. As of now, I would never fly this airline again, and I would warn everyone away from it. I will update this post if TAP does the right thing by two honeymooners."

I have complained with ygthe airline and if it is not resolved I will not be flying with them again."

Nevýhody: "My TAP flight from Lisbon to Madeira island was 2 hours late arriving so I lost all of my flight connections back to Boston and San Francisco. I was stuck in Lisbon Portugal for one extra day - was told to get out of the airport, then asked a bunch of people what to do, finally got in a very long line of people within a very hectic and loud airport full of travelers. 60+ people in a line being helped by only 2 rude counter staff. I waited in TAP member services line for 2 hrs and 30 minutes. They gave me a voucher to a motel and a taxi cab where I would have to spend the night. On my way back, I was diverted form Boston to Miami and the whole ordeal was unpleasant. It seems like TAP staff doesn't care about inconveniencing passengers. I overhead a conversation between a young 30+ year old TAP male staff wearing a dark blue sweater and dark blue pants belittling a British woman passenger. While waiting in line I was surprised to see how rude the counter TAP staff were to passengers who were frustrated that they lost their flight connections because of the TAP plane's late arrival. IF possible, I would never fly TAP again."

My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."

Nevýhody: "Couldn't check-in online. Website said to go to airport and talk to staff - should have said: "invalid passport, get new one!" That would have been so much more helpful. Substandard food, especially 'breakfast'"
Výhody: "speediness of boarding"
Nevýhody: "too slow service, it took almost to landing to get offered drinks and sale, crew weren't very efficient."
Výhody: "I made it finally to Prague."
Nevýhody: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Výhody: "The crew was friendly and professional"
Nevýhody: "My monitor didn’t work and I asked about it twice. Two crew members said they would look into it but it never got reset."
Výhody: "The crew had to deal with a medical emergency and they were excellent!! Despite extra pressure they kept us all informed and were polite and friendly under pressure!"
Nevýhody: "lack of seat space and could not put seat back because of medical emergency so hard to sleep. Exhausted on arrival at Heathrow! Headset did not work properly on films Did not like the boarding process !!"
Nevýhody: "got to the check-i counter and didn;t realize my ticket didn't include a checked bag. Was charged 65 pounds.---a bit high in my opinion. The disclosure was not at all prominent. Was surprised and disappointed at the price. Also, was never served water during the overnight flight. Am accustomed to flight attendants coming through the cabin a couple of times with water."

Výhody: "The air plane ran out of fuel we had to divert to San Jose we waited two hours because of weather and because the paperwork had the wrong pilots name so they wouldn't let the plane fly. Therefore we waited in the airport all night because neither British airways or American Airlines would help us We waited here all night with no sleep no one would give us a hotel or a meal we have now will be getting into London 24 hours later than planned and we will be out about $1000 in hotels in two hours we had booked that were non-cancelable . Multiple phone calls to British airline Waze and to American Airlines for all of the helpful"
Nevýhody: "Seating. Meal. Entertainment. Did not compare well to Air Canada."
Výhody: "Flight nice, crew pleasant."
Nevýhody: "Now have to pay for water and soda! How low can British Air go. Didn't think they were trying to become Ryan Air!"

Nevýhody: "way too much of bad to be listed. But can say for certainty that I will avoid to book with BA in the near future."

Nevýhody: "Not enough room tor luggage, I did not have any, but many people had too much, they were not able to put it in the available space. People should NOT be allowed to take soo much luggage into the cabin. In Prague it took more than 30 minutes to get our bags!!!!The WORST I EVER EXPERIENCED..."
