Here’s the truth / I paid $29 for a flight that lasted 45 minutes - so the experience was short on the plane and the expectations I had, given the price tag, were humble. However the airline was comprised of professional and courteous people. Long on smiles, short on legroom on the Boeing 737-800 - but what else would one expect? Nicely done to the folks at SunExpress.
It was really hot whole the time during the flight
Ticketing was a nightmare! Did the online check in never to receive email tickets and upon arrival at the airport, long lines taking an hour to get your boarding passes then running though security to the gate. The web site was not working, overall We could have missed our flight.
Výhody: "The crew was very helpful and definitely went out of there way to help members. The seat had plenty of leg room but the cushion seemed worn."

Nevýhody: "Have never seen this happen elsewhere, but shortly after boarding, the crew announced they had to do a safety check, which required all the passengers to collect their personal items (i.e. everything from the overhead bins) to hold with them in their seats, as the crew 'checked' the bins and aisles. The procedure didn't seem to delay the flight, but just seemed a little pointless and a waste of effort. Thankfully there wasn't anything found or any other cause for alarm, but it just seemed odd."

So, thankfully I had an aisle seat so I just stuck my knee out to the side...this was a partial solution only as the crew came by at least 5 times on a 2 hour flight with the service cart, smacking my knee each time. No complementary snacks or beverages... not even water. Somewhat surprised that they didn't charge to use the lavatory."

Different system for check in as you had a time window in which to do it so if your ride brought you early then you had to wait to check in. Prague was problem free."

The plane had not left the gate but the captain refused to open the door. This unheard of, that at the counter didn’t want to intervene. Now we have to rebook. These Eastern European countries are still thinking of the past."

Nevýhody: "Airline Charged us 35 Euro each to check small bag that we could carry on in US. Can only carry on 1 item. Can’t carry on a small backpack with small luggage. That counts as 2. Best to buy tickets that includes 1 checked bag. All drinks & food must be purchased. Nothing is complimentary."
Nevýhody: "This airline RIPS OFF the consumer. We flew RT from Prague to Budapest and had a choice between Czech Air and RyanAir. We decided to pay more money and chose Czech Air because RyanAir had multiple warnings about extra costs that are incurred if strict luggage size and weight restrictions are exceeded. We felt it was worth it to pay more up-front with Czech Air so we could avoid this additional cost and stress. The first leg of the flight went fine — no weighing of luggage, no additional costs. (Our luggage is standard carry-on size.) During the second leg of the flight a very unsympathetic Czech Air employee in Budapest weighed our luggage carefully, claimed that we exceeded the weight limit by a couple of kg, and charged us 35 euros more PER BAG. Now we wish we would have chosen RyanAir as it ultimately would have been cheaper and at least RyanAir is more honest up-front about these extra charges associated with one’s luggage. As consumers, this felt to us like a bait-and-switch situation — not good."

Výhody: "I booked a flight from paris to prague. When i tried to check in there was a misunderstanding over my luggage and the check in fee. When I tried to get an explanation as of why I had to pay a fee instead of explaining and trying to be helpful the staff simply said I can take my luggage back and go. Nothing about trying to solve the problem. Never had I experienced such rudeness!!! I will never fly czech airlines again and will not recommend to anyone else"

Nevýhody: "The staff were very slow and rude when I checked in on Friday July 21. I had to pay to check a bag and the credit card machine was not working at the counter. So myself and others had to goto another and this person was very rude and unpleasant. Her machine also was not working and was told to go downstairs to the ATM snd get cash. Which I didn't need and would be charged a fee. Finally my card worked (others were less fortunate). Still the person took forever and was making copies of card numbers on carbon paper I believe to show payment proof. I was uncomfortable with this from a card security perspective and asked her about this. She said it was none of my business and why do I care. I fly many places and this is the worst service I have ever received by an airline. I am also a very friendly person and understand when things can be challenging but this staff of 3 was aweful."

Nevýhody: "Czech Airlines flew the plane from St Petersburg to Prague with no checked luggage for anyone on board. We waited about 30 minutes at the baggage claim, no luggage showed up, and then there were only 2 people from Czech Airlines to help over 100 people process the lost luggage claims, which took another 4 hours, for a flight that was already delayed almost 2 hours. I would never fly this airline again due to this incompetence, poor service, and treatment. At least we got our luggage back about 36 hours later."

Výhody: "I bought a full fare ticket of Czech airlines and got two low cost operators which did not backup the full fare price. Flight should I use a standard air line and NOT a low cost one. Flight should include food, entertainment media, drink (soft), power for charging, etc. Flight should include high quality staff and SPACE for legs (nor extra, just normal space) Actually this was sold as Czech airline flight with Czech airlines flight code. I feel I have been cheated."

Výhody: "Czech Airlines indeed was really helpful when solving our problem as we book our flight through VAYAMA site leaving on Friday and returning Sunday, then our flight got changed from Friday to Saturday which was not what we book on the first time, so we call VAYAMA support and they were not helpful at all, so we gave it a try calling Czech Airlines and they were super helpful and were able to put us in another flight coming back Sunday. Also booking through VAYAMA a normal fare got us with big surprise at the airport that we did not have a bag included to be document. We could not find any information regarding this on the booking confirmation or on their site and we did pay a fare that according to Czech Airlines lines includes a documented bag. It was not a low cost flight. my recommendation is book through another agency or directly on the airline site to avoid this type of problems."

Výhody: "Ground crew in Barcelona was terrible. Sat at the boarding pass gate until 10 minutes pass scheduled take off time. No airline personnel ever showed up at the gate. Found out about gate change and one hour delayed flight from the schedule board. Went to new gate and complained to hound personnel about no one at assigned gate. They really did not seem to care and said listen to pa announcements. Ten minutes later we heard the first pa anouncement."

I had to walk up to the counter and ask if I could check in as I was 2 hours early. They said to check back in a few minutes , not sure why they couldn;t just check me in ? I guess they didn't feel like working. Second, when I did check in, they charged me $40 extra euro for not checking my bag in online which I explained I was never prompted to check in a bag online. They still charged me so I plan to dispute it. Than third, no drinks on the entire flight, not even water ,really ???? That is unheard of. Fourth, the flight attendant wakes me up to tell me I need to put my window blind up for landing. Again, I have never heard of a requirement that all blinds be up in order to land ? I was exhausted after flying for over 24 hours from CA to Prague and it was really annoying to be woken up for that. Lastly, it took my bag like 45 minutes to come off the belt. Again, it has never taken that long on any other airline, it stressed me out cause I was beginning to think my bag got lost. It finally showed after almost everyone on the flight had already gotten their bags. Never using Czech Airlines again."

Výhody: "Stuff happens, we all know that. But on this particular flight on Czech Airlines, everything happened. Just a terrible experience. Flight was delayed 2 hours, no explanation was given. Communication with attendants was non existant and cold mannered. Nothing was attempted to be done to appease the unsatisfaction of the customers (i.e. free snacks?), flight turbulence was non-stop, baggage claim wait was roughly 45 minutes. What more can I say? Just horrible."

We had to drive from Pisa to Bologna to get a flight, then had to pay extra for our luggage. The plane was a smallish prop, very tight seating. There were no refreshments unless you wanted to buy something. Luckily it is only a 11/2 hour flight."

Weight limit for baggage was also very low, and did not reflect information on company website. What a hassle."
The price is great, but not even getting one check-in bag allowance is terrible, especially at over $50 per checked bag when purchased online ahead of time. The flight was late, and any food or drink you must pay for. Again, the price is great, but you get what you pay. I also feel that every Pegasus landing is so hard and fast that the pilot is trying to see how hard and far he can pound the plane into the runway!
I liked that we could pre order and pay for meals. Crew was super efficient and got everything exactly right and of course we didn’t even have to ask it was all super seamless I wish other airlines would do this.

Výhody: "The flight from Istanbul to Prague was fairly basic but everything worked well and was comfortable. The flight was on time. The bags were delivered quickly. There were no problems on the flight as it was relatively quiet. Overall, no complaints."
Nevýhody: "The boarding in Istanbul was via bus, which is not only uncomfortable but impossible to socially distance on. In Prague we deplaned via a jetway. In Istanbul the gate control person was overly vigilant in checking documents. It was very disturbing :("

And the crew just let the kids run up and down the aisles and climb on seats. What ever happened to "please remain seated with your seat belts fastened"? Additionally, when I checked in, I asked for a window seat, the agent nodded, and when I got on the plane I found I was stuck in a middle seat. It was the longest two hours of my life."

And then Pegasus Plus frequent flyer never recognizes my PNR number when I try to get credit for my flights. I have flown 6 segments with them and none of the flights are recognized. When I try to do live chat, it only accept Turkish language. I am very disappointed in this airline's pre and post flight services."

Oh i forgot, it's also delayed and we wait for half an hour and then, they came with only one bus to take all the people to plane whwn there are many people who can't hold themselves in that crowded bus!"

The worst flight we ever had..I ve been attack by another passenger who just throw à bag to me for no reason ...I ask the fligjt attendant to do something...she havent ..she was as rude as the passenger and told me if im not happy à The door is still open I can get out of the plane...it was one of the first time also I 've pay à big extra to have confort sent...and its been hell... I think it was like an extra about 56 euros total ... I regret that I paid for this extra....and for what I get..I deserve respect ....
Nevýhody: "Everything. The initial flights was significantly delayed without anyone updating the passengers at the gate. The crew was rude when asked questions about connecting flights. And they lost our baggage."
Výhody: "Nothing to really like when the flight takes off 45 minutes later... without a solid reason why. They only apologized after we landed.. as if it was nothing."
Nevýhody: "Required to check a bag for $80, flight was delayed, almost missed connection, bags did not make the connection and flew the next day, spent at least the first day of trips waiting for bags to arrive, still haven't. Spent a lot of waiting on busses to get to the terminals with very rude personnel."
Nevýhody: "Check in process"
Výhody: "Normal usual smooth travel experience"
Výhody: "Missed connection in Prague because of delay and it took an hour and a half to get anyone to help us."

Nevýhody: "Everything took ages, no one spoke to us, like time to board the plane, or we are landing...."

Nevýhody: "The airplane is old. The sits are narrow (the most narrow sits I ever experienced on a plane)."

Nevýhody: "The crew were not nice... talked to us in a Horrible way. There weren't any blankets"
Nevýhody: "Leg room is very small, unusual for 737. Highly not comfortable"
Výhody: "The flight was quiet and peaceful."
Nevýhody: "There was no room for my legs ( a 1.78 cm tall guy), and if you are taller than that you will not be able to sit comfortably at all!"
Výhody: "Short flight and nice crew, boarding was organized and easy"
Nevýhody: "Late departure, old plane, tight seats, no online check in"
Nevýhody: "My flight was delayed by several hours due to disruption at Gatwick which is by no means airlines fault. But what's unforgivable in modern age in the inability to check in online or at the airport's terminals without visiting the check in desk. This meant that even though I had no luggage to checkin, still had to wait in 1.5 hour queue to then go to the only desk available for my 20 secs checking and issue of the boarding pass. What a waste of time! (flew from Gatwick as apparently online checkin is available when flying from some other airports)"
Výhody: "Flight was running lates and it was very warm. It was very difficult to hear the announcements."
Nevýhody: "Everyone was very polite and friendly."
Výhody: "Nothing. Probably the last time I will fly with them."
Nevýhody: "Huge delays. We had connections but they forced us to do check-in for every leg separately. Long queues. In both flights unexplained delays. We sat in the plain for two hours and they did not explained why."
Výhody: "The crew was very pleasant"
Nevýhody: "The seats were uncomfortable, and air conditioning was turned off when we boarded so we were very congested inside and couldn't breathe."
Výhody: "Didn't have to pay to check a bag."
Nevýhody: "Seats were cramped."

Nevýhody: "Delay of flight by 1hr. No entertainment. No free food and food purchased also not good."
Nevýhody: "We had issues after take off which scared the whole plane and had us looking at one another in worry. Then had engine issues again when descending that were absolutely terrifying the whole plane was yelling and crying, very trematic. I have flown 100's of times and have never in my life experienced something like this. The landing itself was also horrible as we just basically smacked the ground. If you can fly a different airline do so! I think quite possibly these aircrafts are over due to be retired and the company does not maintain the safety of them."
Nevýhody: "When I bought a Czech Air flight, I thought I was getting Czech Air- but no, it was SmartWings, their budget buddy whose seats are literally squeezed together from all directions. Do not fly this airline if you are anything but short and skinny. There are zero amenities for free- which, again, would not have been the case on Czech Airlines. The nonchalant crew attitude from start to finish did not help the experience, nor did the lack of signage to find the airline's check in at Gatwick.."
Nevýhody: "They checked us into the wrong gate. We then had to walk upast and down stairs and across the tarmac to get on the plane. My husband have low blood pressure problems and problems with stairs. There was no consideration."
Výhody: "Price point was good, staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the people working here are excellent, but they're clearly fighting an uphill battle against the company's systems/tech"
Nevýhody: "*The online check in didn't work, so I wasn't sure if I actually had a flight until I got to the airport. *Upon arriving at the airport, the flight number had changed, which added to confusion. *Upon boarding aircraft, I realized I was assigned row 32... in a 25 row plane. I guess I was the first to realize this, as when I pointed it out to a flight attendant, she conferred briefly with a coworker and then they declared it was open seating. *The beverage service took so long that they never got to my row."
Nevýhody: "totally fine for a week end trip when you don't need much luggage. I wouldn't fly if luggage is an issue or on a flight longer than 2 hours as it's a discount airline and space is limited onboard."
Výhody: "All went smoothly as usually. Flight was on time. There were beautiful Czech stewardesses on board."
Výhody: "Plane arrived on time."
Nevýhody: "Backup at security almost made us miss our flight. Too hectic."
Nevýhody: "One of the worst trip I was struggling between the samrtwings and flight network.com trying to book the seats but no one was able to help me .espically flight network.com they gave a lot of wrong information. It was nightmare!!!!"
Nevýhody: "The Flight late 3 shouts. There is no food. The sits were so close."
Nevýhody: "Flight was delayed. There was no communication of the fact it was delayed or for how long. Once boarding was completed, 1 hour late, we sat in the plane for a further 30 minutes without any communication of the cause of the delay or when we were going to leave. In fact, when the flight actually pulled back from the gate, several people were standing, or in the rest room, having given up on the flight actually departing. Once on the plane, the cabin service was so slow that they were only to serve the first 20 rows before they had to pack up because the plane was about to land. An airline to avoid ..."
Nevýhody: "Spent your and a half in line for check in. Put us in the last sit, was verry verry crowded. No food or drinks. No entertainment."
Výhody: "The staff was polite."
Nevýhody: "The delay in boarding. The unexplained delay in takeoff. They do not share information with passengers at all!!! Very low quality cold cheese sandwich. Only cheese sandwich to choose from despite the menu. Room temperature Cola zero. Unable to do webchekin? why? This company flies so much..why there is no online check in????! why? The leg room is extremely poor. Everything squeezed. The last seats near at the end of te aircraft are 90 degrees straight!! more than 90...they actually lean forward a bit...I sat there! is hould know impossilbe! I'm sorry...i have to put this company to my black list..."
Nevýhody: "Original departure time: 21h55 Effective: 24h Delay without any apologize or compensation. I asked for a bottle of water but they sad only for sell."
Výhody: "Efficient and timely flight"
Nevýhody: "We were seated in the exit row but did not know this meant that our towels and jackets would be taken from us for landing. It was sooo cold on that plane and very uncomfortable"
Nevýhody: "Terrible experience. They do not allow to bring your own water to the airplane and they denied to give me a glass of water. Also they lost my baggage and returne it to me 4 days later."
Výhody: "Staff were nice and Great value for money."
Nevýhody: "Ran hours late with pasangers sitting outside boarding gate with no seating or information. ( or compensation)"
Nevýhody: "The boarding to the plane was 40 minuets late, the plane was crowded and small, there was no food and no entertainment what so ever."
Nevýhody: "It took me 17 hours to get from Israel to Warsaw!!!"
Nevýhody: "No entertainment at all, no outlets, and all of the food was for purchase. There was no indication whatsoever that we would need to purchase food onboard (most airlines provide free drinks), and the worst part was that there was no free potable water. And, the crew were not at all nice about it. Honestly, I'd like back the 2 euros I had to spend on getting a bottle of water!"
Nevýhody: "Couldn't check in online and they were late taking off - also they said the flight was 14:20, gatwick airport website was 14:40 and when told to go to the boarding gate and board, they weren't boarding"
