They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."

You can’t leave to go anywhere else, if you have to be somewhere to receive the luggage, even if you go buy new clothes."
Nevýhody: "It sucks to have your vacation ruined by lack of ability to deliver my luggage 35 kilometers from the airport. terrible customer service from Icelandair, SAS, and Gardemoen Airport. All fingers pointing other directions."

Nevýhody: "We were told airport is small and catching connecting flight would be no problem. Landed late which left us with 25 minutes to get through passport control and to the next flight. My mother is 67 and physically not able to run or even walk fast. It was worse on the way there. Arrived in Iceland and our Helsinki flight was canceled. We were rebooked to an earlier flight. We had a hard time catching it. Barely made it! We were not told of any such change. Sure, once I made it to my destination, I saw that I received an email while in the Air! I didn't have internet access en route! I won't book with that airline again. We almost didn't make our connection and weren't given any explanation. They should not assume that everyone has Wifi access once they leave their home country. I had to run ahead to let them know that we were indeed present and wanted to get on that flight. My mother struggled to follow me. I thought that it would be a good route to go, given that we make the trip to Finland to see our family. But it turned out not to be the case. Very disappointed."

Nevýhody: "Icelandair does not hold any planes (even 15 minutes) if you’re plane got delayed. We had an hour and a half layover and were delayed so that we missed our flight by 5 minutes. They rarely have more than one flight to a city so many people had to stay over night (we got in at 7:30am). We were lucky to get a connecting flight to get to our destination 7 hours late. Icelandair is fine if you’re on time, but with delays you’re easily screwed out of making it to your destination."
Výhody: "Flight attendants are courteous and helpful. Movie selection ok. I was able to finish 2 movies in our flight from KEF to SFO and I slept in between. I feel that the seats able to recline further than other airlines (or is it just me) but uncomfortable esp when upright. Seat looks clean but trays have stains (coffee?) so I have to use my wet wipes to clean our trays. Good leg room."
Nevýhody: "In flight food are expensive and not that good (hamburger). Ran out of other food items. Free juice and water only. No milk. I don't know if coffee or tea is free but it was offered. We brought our own food on the return flight. Random flashing lights inside cabin we don't know here it came from and didn't ask the crew. Boarding could be more organized."

Nevýhody: "A couple of things happened that brought down the scoring if these didn't happen the score would be higher. First.they lost/forgot to put my luggage on the plane. When we got to Newark there was a guy waiting for me and told me my luggage was still in Iceland. Not a huge inconvenience because I was home, but was was irritating was that we paid for an extra bag but they lost my bag. I feel i should get reimbursed the charge for the inconvenience. I'll take this up with the airline directly."
Výhody: "Exceptional flight crew and we had a smooth flight. It was my daughter's first flight and she loved it as well."

Nevýhody: "Upon arriving in Iceland 3 hours late, when asked what we needed to do about our connecting flights and were told to check with the airline's service desk. They didn't bother letting those of us continuing on to Glasgow know we needn't disembark since the plane we were on was the aircraft for that flight. Every passenger disembarked and then had to be paged. That connecting flight was to have left over 3 hours before and yet no one could tell us why the schedule had the connecting flight still listed as "Final Call." We were paged and then told we had to run to catch the plane. We literally sprinted through the terminal. The attendant who scanned our boarding passes was just this side of rude. And everyone on the airplane was mad at us. The flight attendants wouldn't even answer our call button when we needed to ask a question about the UK Landing Form. The flight was already delayed. Had the airlines made any effort to be helpful or attend to their customers needs, they would have announced we needn't leave the aircraft. Worse flight I've been on. I wish I hadn't already paid for or I'd not take the return flights home."

Nevýhody: "This is the first and the last time that I fly to Europe with a budget airline. To save themselves a few bucks, they made the experience much less pleasant than it could have been. What they sold as food on the airplane was pathetic. And the prices for the awful food at the airport in Reykjavik were outrageous and they were not even posted, so until you went to pay you didn't know that those two pieces of stale bread with a thin slice of ham cost more than $12. Things like these leave one with a very bad aftertaste. Not worth it."
Nevýhody: "No announcements were made that we were boarding, the flight was delayed (again - 3 out of 4 of our IcelandAir flights were delayed), and we boarded in the order that we were standing in line - extremely inefficient as everyone had to wait for everyone on the plane to put their bags away. This is handled much better in every airport I've ever been in, not sure why this can't be a MUCH better experience from Iceland."
