Good check-in and boarding, No hassles with baggage, On-time departure and early arrival on Malta. Cabin crew was good but overly enthusiastic (many loud in-flight announcements) for a 6:30 a.m. flight. Overall, a good experience. Only airline with direct connection from Gdańsk to Malta, so best choice generally.
there was a delay for over 3 hours due to fog this is toatly acceptable, beacause of flight safety but since the fog was not unknown why we were boarded and than had to wait on plane without option to go back to the terminal the boarding was on foot so there was cnot supposed to be a big problem to get back and than reboard

In very fine print, the ticket you think you paid for online is not valid to get a boarding pass at the airport unless you visit another website prior to going to the airport. If you do what I did, which is arrive expecting to be handed a boarding pass, you will be extorted for 50€ because they cut off your ability to visit the required online website. Total scam. This should be illegal. Buyer beware. Kayak did not know about this scam."

They were not helpful and charged me more than the €50 airport checking fee even when Ryanair lists it on the website as €50. I am currently trying to cancel my return flight on Ryanair because of this complete lack of customer service."
Výhody: "I was very disappointed with checking in because I wasn't informed about checking in online. I had to pay an additional €150 and it's sad that you have to find ways to make extra money on us passenger's. Your rates are low but the extra fees cost more than the airfare. then when were ready to board they said my carry on was too big, which it was not and the stewardess wanted to charge us extra fee but when she realizes that it wasn't too big she still wanted to take our luggage because there was no room on the plane. In fact we got on the plane and there was plenty of room for our carry on I am hoping that Ryanair will do the right thing and reimburse us the extra 150 we were charged for not doing the online check-in that once again I was not aware of because I never received an email or a text as she stated I should have received. This is NOT right how you have low rates then we are forced to pay all the extras."

Finally, we did not BUY and, I think out is spite, you put us 30 seats apart I know this is an economy airline-but we had NONE of these problems with WIZZ airline. 2 people should be able to sit together without paying an extra money. We checked in online, make sure to print out your boarding pass, we arrived early expecting challenges and made sure we weighed or luggage ahead of time. After clearing customs we bought food and drink for the flight. The flighted loaded rather quickly and we backed out on schedule and arrived 10 minutes early. The flight attendants cam by constantly selling food, drinks, scratch off tickets and a bunch of other stuff but were never pushy."

They then charged me $400 penalty fee for not checking in online prior to the flight (despite that I was not aware of this procedure). The airline ticket check in staff was extremely mean and rude with long lines of people waiting and almost missing their flights."

Nevýhody: "forced to hand in cabin bag just before allowed on aircraft. i was travelling with children and this had our food, activities etc. this would not have been so bad had i been given a carrier bag to pur some item in....i was not, andhad to stuff my valuables and a limited amount of food and activties into a torn, dirty carrier bag i found. complaints to ryanair online led to a standard reply that only the first 90 cabin bags go on board. i was not aware of this before i traveeled and would have come more prepared had i known....which i did do on my return trip. this time i was allowed to check in 3 out of my 6 hand luggage but not the other three (we were 6 people travelling) even though i was all prepared to check them in and had not checked that i did not have sharp items and liquid in them. therefore, becasue i was not allowed to chekc them in, i had these items confiscated when i went through security, losing a valuable pair of hairdressing scissors. i wish Ryanair would be more consistent with their polices (i was only allowed to check in three bags becasue i had only paid for 3 suitcases)....but then was forced to chekc the other three in right before entering the aircraft!!! cheap does not need to be unfair!"

We were assured by 2 different people we would be on time after we were told to go all over the place, paid 200 USD to check our bags only to be told at the gate that we couldn't board. THEN we were told we couldn't get our money back or our luggage until after the girl went on lunch break at 11:30am. She clearly just didn't want to deal with us. We watched her just sit there and do nothing because apparently it was her 1.5 hour break. We ended up flying with a different airline because our experience with Ryan Air was so bad. NEVER AGAIN"
