Complaint I booked seating with Qatar which was confirmed, credit card billed. But arrival I learned seats not assigned to wife and myself

My luggage was delayed because the flight arrived late and I almost missed my connecting flight to Atlanta. My luggage was delayed and it took 3 days to receive my luggage once it arrived in Atlanta. The baggage department is horrendous and non-existent. I did not get a call, I had to go to the Airport and wait for manager to board a flight, waited 3 hours and then they got my luggage for me. I understand staffing issues but there should be a better process for baggage services.

Good food, comfortable seating, excellent service throughout. Professional, yet friendly and nice crew. My first experience with Qatar airlines, I would select Qatar for my future travels and recommend the service to my friends. Thank you.

This was extremely disappointing as we then lost a full 8 hours of our first day arrival. If they schedule you for a 45 minute connecting flight, I suggest you book a later one. Our flight from NYC left on time but was 20 min late landing. Their only compensation to us all was use of the airport lounge in Doha ( quite nice with free food wine and showers, but would rather have had the extra day in Bali."

We spoke to a flight attendant about it early on in the flight, spoke to the kids and spoke to the parents. Then spoke to the kids and parents mid flight. And then spoke to them all, including a flight attendant towards the end of the flight. The issue was never resolved. We asked to change our seats but could not. We asked for the parents to trade seats with the kids and they would not. It was the worst, most uncomfortable flight I have ever taken. And I fly regularly for work and for pleasure. It was an absolutely horrible experience. I was actually in tears on the flight because I was so tired, uncomfortable and frustrated."

Nevýhody: "When making a review, I make comparisons with other airlines. I was expecting that Qatar Airways would be better than Emirates. It is my first time to fly Qatar airways, just to see if it's worth flying with this airline since it was the Best Airline in the world for 2015. But Emirates improved so much better that they overtaken the throne of Qatar Airways.. When you promise 5-star comfort and luxury, it should be what is promised.. Key points: 1.) Beverages should be served more than just twice during this 9 hour flight. It's a bit sarcastic that you flash a reminder on the screen that says "Keep Hydrated" but beverages were served only twice. I always had to ask for 2 glasses of water, overall 4 glasses of water on this 9 hour flight. And I can say that I got dehydrated. 2.) No hot towels for sanitary before food is served. I had to go to lavatory, wash my hands and put some alcohol before eating. Which is kinda hassle.. Sanitary is very important. 3.) I spent 8 hours layover in Doha before my flight to Milan. No complimentary meal. (Emirates provide complimentary meal if I have long layover in Dubai) 4.) I don't know if it's due to bad weather, but this flight, QR 933 was the roughest flight I have been on, not just short turbulence but long hours, maybe 3 hours. I was so dizzy and couldn't sleep. I signed up on privileged member club because I'm looking forward that Qatar would be the best choice for Airline. This review is just one of many reviews that should be looked at. Considering that you should continuously develop and aim to bounce back on the top. Do not settle for "okay", do not settle for second spot. Be the best, and compete for the first. We requested the crew if we could disembark earlier but she said no. We missed our connection."

Nevýhody: "Prague to London flight First I was surprised and disappointed to find out there were so many extra fees. They get you to buy the ticket with a cheaper price and then hit you with all the extra fees e.g. choosing a seat, luggage, food, drinks, you will pay for everything except the flight. The second thing is that when I did go to the BA website on 5 different occasions to pay for my luggage and in order to get a cheaper rate for doing it online before check-in, it gave me a message that the site to do it was not working and that I needed to pay for it at the airport check-in. When I went to check-in at the airport the ticket agent seemed annoyed that I had luggage to check in when I hadn't registered it online. When I told her that the site was down and I wasn't able to do it before hand, she showed no sympathy or understanding. Instead she proceeded to charge me for checking my luggage. It was an outrageous amount of over $80 USD. I have never in all my travels around the world been charged for my luggage. I only travel with one carry on and one medium size check luggage because of my extensive travel. I know charging for luggage may be something more airlines will start doing but I did not think that BA would be one of them. I also would have appreciated some compensation for theirsite being down and not being able to get a discount on the fee because I couldn’t check it online. I am extremely disappointed with my BA experience and will never fly with them again. That is unfortunate for them since I am in the process of traveling around the world for the next few years while writing a travel blog and book. I will definitely publish my review and experience in detail, which I am sure will influence my readers and followers."
Nevýhody: "flight delayed over 1.25 hours because we missed our runway time due to being "unable to get a head count" of the people that are on board. This should be embarrassing for BA. And i don't understand how after all the security, boarding pass and passport checks that you do not have an accurate head count of your passangers. Thus I missed my connecting flight and had to wait over 4 hours for another and got a measly 10 Euros as compensation. Also, they don't even give water for free, and a 200ml juice costs 1.5 Euros which a) its bad juice and b) overpriced. All food you now pay extra for, and they didnt even make it in time to the last few rows so even if Id want to purchase something, I couldn't."

The crew were the worst I have ever had on a flight in a long time! One guy was stuffing food before the door closed in front of everyone. I asked the lady to help me find a spot for my luggage! I was instructed very rudely to keep walking to the back of the plane til I found somewhere. It was literally at the back. I was sitting in about row 9. Then when I sat back down she opened a compartment where I could have put my bag seriously!!!When we landed I asked her to assist in getting my bag. She pretty much ignored me no help at all. I finally retrieved my bag once everyone got off the plane. And I told them both when I departed the aircraft that was the worst service I have had in along time (the pilot was there also)and if this is how they treat tourists I would not fly again with them!!!! I did not eat or do entertainment so N/A there

Flight restrooms were dirty

I was not granted access to this flight that I paid in full for due to covid restrictions set forth by Spain. I was told by the airline (American Airlines) that because this was out of my control that I would be refunded. I have spent hours calling both Iberia, American Airlines and kayak to get zero results. I have been scammed by kayak!! This company is fraud!!!!

Not even a glass of water available on a 7 hour flight, that's actually a health hazard, should be illegal. No coffee or tea. The window seat I paid up for was about 8 inches from the window, so I couldn't even lean my head there. No in-flight magazines, or handing out newspapers , no entertainment available, just sitting there uncomfortably for 7 hours while the attendants huddled behind drawn and velcro'ed curtains doing nothing. A true disgrace. Avoid Iberia and their LEVEL subsidiary like the plague. Unacceptable in every way....and at least Ryan Air and WOW are cheap, this flight was full price. Total rip-off, never again."

Nevýhody: "Food was not so great. Too much fat on the chicken. The salad smelled off/bad and didn't look appertizing. the beverages too smaller cup/quantity given (hot tea)."

Nevýhody: "Like everyone says, you are cattle jammed in a sardine can. Barely any leg room and I’m 5’3. Other thoughts: the plane was old, my seat had a lump in it, zero entertainment, food was over priced. (3 Euro for a tiny water). This may seem petty but ultimately the appearance and function of the plane represents their company as a whole. From my first impressions, I’m thinking as a passenger is: I just hope the age and appearance of the plane isn’t reflective of their repairs and maintenance work as well."

Výhody: "I was in seat 38L and was very pleased to see that it reclined fully. I hope that is always the case as I will endeavor to book that seat regularly."

Nevýhody: "Not enough discipline in the boarding process. No enforcement of the carry-on luggage policy. People were bringing on 3-4 small bags and taking all of the overhead space."
Nevýhody: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."

We were sent to Malaga instead of Granada due to weather. Although we were bussed to Granada, arriving 4 hours later, there was no further assistance or information from a representative. More communication would have been helpful and appreciated.

By far one of the worst airlines I’ve ever had to deal with. Customer service is very poor. Stay clear of any airline you cannot get a hold of a real person to help with your problem.

It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a filet mignon steak, and then waiter comes out and says "we gave your filet mignon to that person sitting over there, but here's a MacDonalds hamburger for you. And you will still be paying for the filet. Will that be ok?" No. It's not ok. Only an airline would try something like that. This behavior is unacceptable in every other business. Stop doing this now!"

Totally unacceptable! Worse thing is the lack of direction to handle the situation. Their answer was by law were allowed to overbook! Seriously! I know this is true but these airlines should. It be allowed to do that it’s disruptive to people’s lives that have paid money to be on these flights. So our 4day vacation is now down to 3 and of those 3days we spent one day waiting on partial delivery of our luggage!"
