Nevýhody: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

I had to fly standby to get home otherwise I’ll have to spend another whole day in Atlanta they scheduled me on a flight 24 hours later from the one that I originally was scheduled on only because Delta canceled the flight
Overall good flight. Only downside is that the passenger next to me took up part of my seat in addition to hers, which was slightly uncomfortable but not a big deal.
We paid for preferred seating for extra leg room. On 3of the 4 flights the preferred seating were regular seats with no extra leg room. It was deceitful to advertise those seats at preferred seating. I would not have wasted my money paying extra had I known what I was getting.
I like that I got to my destination safely.
Don’t give me a chair that can’t lean back. I got one in both legs of my flight. And I know I did not select those seats.

Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

It is super confusing where you need to go, drop bags, etc. the weird part is Check in was in terminal 3 and gate at terminal 2. That is a long walk back and forth. There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

It was so helpful to be able to board the plane front and back. It makes it so much faster. It was also helpful announcements were made in French and English. I cannot thing of anything that would have made that short flight better.
Not the best crew. Extremely annoying with mask wearing. Even when I was eating and drinking they would come up to you to tell you to wear your mask. Extremely annoying.

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

Lost bags - airline admitted fault
Customer service was lacking. Crew members were quite rude when we asked for alternate food options, even though we were asking to pay for food that they had listed in their in-flight purchase menu. None of the items for purchase were even available according to the crew and they weren't the least bit apologetic about it. When they were handing out breakfast boxes and we asked what was inside, they said we don't know, you can check yourselves. Nevýhody: "Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress."
Nevýhody: "I arrived 13 hours late, had two extra flights. I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

I called TAP (before the flight) and they would not change the flight because I went through a travel site. My $240 ticket was lost, and I had to pay over $900 for a new one. I doubt I will use an internet site again because I will unlikely get a refund and it was impossible to change the ticket. Feel awful!"
Výhody: "Time in the air was fine, efficient once we arrived in Newark and bags arrived fairly quickly. Check-in counter in Lisbon were a little tricky to find (around the corner with no signs posted...) but it was efficient."
Nevýhody: "The boarding process was ridiculous. Went through security and then a second security screening at the gate when everything was gone through for a lot more than random folks. Then getting on a bus to board the flight instead of a jetway? I thought TAP was Portugal's national airline and had priority space at Lisbon..apparently not. No soap in the bathrooms on the plane! Ran out of diet soda (and we weren't at the back of the plane). On the way over, the flight attendants gave us conflicting instructions about our toddle sons's ability to sleep on the floor or on our laps. The entertainment system didn't work."

They made everyone sit back down so they could serve sandwiches and drinks. There was plenty of time and they should have waited. The only time the crew smiled was when the flight was over"

Nevýhody: "Although the flight crew was patient and kind, considering it was a late flight that arrived in Dakar around 2 am, it would've been helpful for them to assist talking with the passengers that were inconsiderate and unreasonably loud throughout the whole flight. Majority of the passengers were trying to sleep or enjoy their flight, which was difficult due to this situation. Additionally, the children of this family continued to kick seats and even stood during landing, and were yelled at by another passenger. I understand that the flight attendants can't see everything that happens, but the noise level was unacceptable."
Nevýhody: "The sizing device is much smaller than it needs to be for carry on roller bags. My bag was forced to be checked by the ground crew on this Tap flight. My bag is a normal sized carry on bag that has always fit on all flights. There was plenty of space on the aircraft for it. The ground crew also let others on with larger bags so they dont even apply their policy in a consistent manner. I will do my best to avoid TAP from now on."

We arrived late from SFO then our bags were NOT moved to out plane, despite the facts that we spent at least an extra hour on the tarmac as the plane received mechanical attention. This resulted in my bags being lost in Dublin airport disaster situation and it’s been a week already without my bags while on holiday in Ireland. As of this moment, I still have no idea when I’ll see my bags again! And it’s all bc Air Canada couldn’t move a few bags to our plane. Sad and infuriating.

I made it to my final destination 24 hours later than original itinerary, almost all of which was spent in airport lines. My bag didn't arrive until 5 days later...on the wrong porch."
Nevýhody: "Every flight was late. If we didn't have long layovers between flights we would have had problems"

We received no notification that our flight would be delayed so we were stuck waiting on the airport for 5 hours, which forced us to cancel evening plans with friends that night because the flight landed in Vancouver at 3am the next morning and we didn't get to our Airbnb until around 4-5am. The crew seemed disorganized."

The flight from Toronto to Denver was about 4 hours long, but the only included refreshments offered were sodas, water, or juice. Air Canada could do better on the food front. (Other food was available for purchase.)"

And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

Výhody: "We arrived in Istanbul the day of the attack. Air Canada let us change our flights, no charge, no questions asked. We were able to fly through Venice and avoided the Coup attempt. Thank you Air Canada so much!"

Výhody: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."

Nevýhody: "The tiny little plane is pretty standard for going to and from Cleveland but the boarding gate was in a shack outside the main airport with almost no seating and horrible aesthetics. The flight attendant was rude and way to large (obese) to be on such a small airplane. It's likely we had to pay a fuel surcharge just to move her alone. I'm not being mean, but this flight was just terrible overall."
