Výhody: "Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights"

TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. They changed my teket from turkish airline to Saudi airline 4.00pm, That's mean no different. 7. I ask about my baggage in turkish airline deck they said don't worry every thing will be okay. 8. I ask for hotel they said you have to make visa cost 60 dollars and you know I have to pay taxi and Chang money... Pla Pla, Actually this is not respecting and very bad organization. 9. I didn't make visa and stay from that time until 3.pm in primum lungs. 10. I went to Saudi airline deck to take my boarding. 11. They said you have extra baggage, I explain them that I payed already to turkish airline. 12. They said you have to go back to turkish airline deck about this extra kg's. 13. I did going back to them they said we cannot do anything, leave one bag here and we send the other one later. When I arrived to Riyadh my baggage wasn't there, this is mean that this stupid turkish people that the have to work on barbcue and haircut, but airports jop needs professional people. Manchester plane was delayed one hour, no problem, but I arrived in Istanbul at the right time and the gate was open I gave them my ticket. They told me that the sestem moved your seat to the second plane but now the plane is open. ? I waited 6 hours at Ataturk airport and had a working meeting I could not attend"

It took an hour of being ignored by various TA staff to eventually get my boarding pass to the next available flight to London. I nearly missed that one as well because of it. The staff in Turkey was rude and unhelpful and most didn’t understand English properly. There were a number of others having the same issues, it was an awful experience."

Výhody: "Trip from Istanbul was On Time. As a Disabled Person, I was picked up at the baggage ticket counter and expedited through. It was excellent service in Istanbul for me. The plane experience was smooth, with wonderful entertainment on your personal screen with excellent movie, news and music offerings. The crew was wonderful, friendly, smiling and accommodating. No charge on alcoholic drinks! Food was great. Flight was good. At Houston, the assistants for Disabled Persons was wonderful, accompanying me up until I was dropped at Shuttle service to my car. Turkish airlines really impressed me and would use them anytime."
Nevýhody: "In Istanbul, I had to walk from the gate entrance to the plane. Took me 10 minutes to walk the plank, struggling, but no one offered me a wheelchair or assistance. In Istanbul, there was a considerable amount of people waiting to check bags but there were no agents at 2 counters and it really bothered the people waiting and waiting for them to show up. Then the baggage loading track stopped and it stopped all the traffic for a while. Inconveniences but, nevertheless, it affected the travelers anxiety."

Nevýhody: "The airport felt like 95 degrees. There was no elevator to carry luggage and my cat downstairs. Everything had to be hand carried, two large bags, a carry-on and my handbag and my cat. I was kept waiting many times without explanation. The carpet in the plane was soaking wet...when you step on it you could feel liquid splash up on your feet. the airplane was quite warm. The seat would not stay upright. The children behind me kicked my seat the entire 11.5 hour flight. The monitor to watch TV also would not stay upright. The solitaire game would never load. The airport crew had conflicting instructions. My checked bags were damaged and bungee cords were missing. I was not alerted before boarding that my computer, tablet and camera would be confiscated until my ATL destination and therefore they were not properly padded for flight. A long time to disembark the plane...The attendant had to call and ask where the connector was to let us leave."

Nevýhody: "New US regulations requiring tablets and laptops to be stored in checked baggage were not relayed to me. I booked the trip in February and the new regulations went into effect in March, but I was never notified. When we got to Istanbul from Brussels and made our way to the gate, we had to go through a security checkpoint where I was informed that my tablets would be confiscated and given back to me once we landed. They had a claim area set up next to our baggage claim turn-style to get tablets and laptops back, but it took us 30 mintues to get our tablets (only 5 mintues to get our baggage). Again, I realize they're only doing their jobs and this regulation is new, but the system they put in place for it and their total lack of communication for customers who had already booked trips was awful. Also, at the checkpoint I was told my tablets would be confiscated and my passport had a sticker put on it. I moved down the line where I was told they would take my tablets and the next guy told me I was clear to go. I asked for verification and he ushered me along, so along I went. Then, while sitting in the plane waiting to leave, a group of 5 or 6 people came on board and searched me out, saying they didn't have a record of my tablets being handed over. I told them I was told to move on at the second checkpoint and they gave me a look as though I was lying, but then said it wasn't my fault and made me retrieve them from my bag and hand them over. It wasn't a huge deal, but it sure did make me look like an idiot in front of everyone else on the flight who could see it happen. The whole reason we brought our tablets was to read books on the flight, and a 13 hour flight doesn't exactly go by quickly. I udnerstand they're just doing their job, but they should have sent an update to people on these flights."
Výhody: "I got extremely sick on the flight from Istanbul to San Francisco. I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"

On the other hand, seat were comfortable and flight attendants were so nice and friendly.. also Turkish lounge and airport were good"

Výhody: "The attendant at check in was anything but attentive. We asked if the flight was full and she replied with a face gesture that indicated 'no' (it was a 1.50am flight) so we asked if possible to upgrade with points and she totally ignored, spoke in Turkish to 2 other check in colleagues, printed the boarding passes and almost threw them down on the counter without responding on upgrade. We felt too intimidated to ask any more. Also our mileage points for this sector of our travel were not booked to our KrisFlyer accounts so wondering if she did not capture at check in."
Nevýhody: "The cabin was quite warm and unable to adjust any air flow to the seat. Because the flight wasn't full my husband was able to move to a vacant group of seats and lie down so eventually cooled down and got some sleep. Otherwise excellent flight"

Nevýhody: "Ummm, THAT was "business class"? Same seats as economy, with middle seat blocked off. Limited recline, no entertainment, no comfort seats. Nice meal, nice drinks, nice service...but I'm a little stunned that a European airline would call this kind of seating "business class". Only thing that separated it from economy class was a curtain, and middle seats blocked off."
Výhody: "Seats were ok and crew was kind and professional. Food was terrible on all flights. They gave mayo or cheese or something I can’t figure out in a sandwich on multiple flights. That thing though slightly different was terrible every time. Also gates changes and pilot landed in wrong part of the airport for its-fra leg and we had to have passportA checked while exiting the plane and had to take a bus. My transit time was short but gladly made it"
Nevýhody: "I missed my second leg from fra-ist. The gate was changed and I was given wrong directions by airport employees so I went through a very long and painful wait at a security line that I didn’t need to go through had the airport info employees knew what they were doing or saying. I ended up missing the flight because of repeated wrong directions"
Nevýhody: "Istanbul to frankfurt flight had no entertainment, no charging usb ports n a small ham sandwitch for breakfast - this was a 4 hour early mirning international flight!!!"

Výhody: "This was my first experience flying with Lufthansa airlines and the experience was outstanding from start to finish! This is what flying should be like! Other airlines should do what they do!"
Výhody: "Once again the crew was great and helped me find a place to stow my carry on since I was in the emergency row. The snack was also very tasty."
Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."
Výhody: "It was totally bad experience due to cancellations of the flights which I already booked to SJC airport in CA. The first confirmed Lufthansa flights No: LH 1305/ LH 488 ISTANBUL to SAN JOSE via FRANKFURT were cancelled. Then my family in USA contacted the airline and agreed about FLIGHT TK 005 / UA 1883: IST-ORD-SJC. At the checking counter in Atatürk Airport I got the last shock of being Lufthansa didn’t issue a ticket for the flight and the time was running fast and l had no contact neither with my family nor anybody else at the airport therefore i had to purchase a ticket to SFO via Frankfurt. In another word it was very bad experience."

There was no reason that it should be singled out in the first place. Now what?"

No alcohol on the plane anymore. A glass of wine back in the day would make the flight much more enjoyable

We also missed our train ride in greece because of air serbia and had to pay for another train ticket and did not receive a refund"

When I arrived to the plain I saw that I can't seat because there is no space so I asked the flight crew to try and find a solution but they said they can't do nothing. Only after I insisted and spoke with the cabin manager they checked and found a place - in fact there were 2 seats with extra room for the legs that were available!! and the flight had many other open seats (they just lied about it). A lot of the personal television did not work and the crew did not assist and did not solve the problem, but just said that this happens and that they can't do anything. This is just ridicolus for a more than 8 hours flight! The airconditioning did not work properly and it was exteremly hot. In general it was an horrible experience, the crew was very unpleasent and did not want to help and the food was just disgusting. I do not recommend to anyone to fly with Air Serbia, you better pay the extra money and fly with a real company."
