I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

Výhody: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
Nevýhody: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

Luckily I learnt how to fast forward, but the sexism of this left me disturbed. so although in reality much of your service is excellent, this advertising of a sexist world view was too disturbing to ignore. I hope my comments are helpful to you in considering that many women in the world now expect their fathers to consider passing on a fair share of their resources to their daughters as well."

They said that they have to charge me a $615 penalty on top of the $750 i had payed for the ticket for cancellation. They mentioned that ill be refunded my $750 from qatar as they got a waiver for me. I received $250 from qatar airways and nothing yet. Airfare's customer service staff is highly uncooperative and v rude"

We also need some news channels like Aljazeera, CNN & BBC so that we keep updated on issues happening throughout the world. Nevýhody: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worst flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."

The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."

Both legs of the flight we had the people seated behind us kicking and shoving our seats. One gentleman was kicking my seat for a couple hours and made a scene on the outgoing flight. The stewardess addressed the gentleman and explained that I had to decline my seat because the seat in front of me was declined. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me, so every time the gentleman kicked me, it not only hurt my back, but my knees. The couple behind us on the return flight jumped the line to get onto the flight, kept kicking our seats and then pretended they did not understand when we asked that they stop. I think the pilot should address the issue upfront so this toddler like behavior does not go on. I am not sure if it is common behavior, but not something I have experienced on an American carrier."

Once we arrived at the gate, we were told "I cannot help you with anything about your flight. That is another department" and we to wait our turn and wait for someone to take us down the jetway. We waited for 75 minutes (1.25 hours) until after EVERY OTHER PASSENGER was on board. The flight attendant was unresponsive to us, talked down to my husband and me in a way that was insulting, rude, demeaning and very nasty. When another passenger complained that he did not get the seat that the attendant just changed for him, FOUR flight attendants helped him - one person got on the phone with someone (I don't know who), another went down to his seat to see where he was sitting. Yet another came and tried to explain why they couldn't help and finally a fourth tried to speak with another attendant on board. Whether or not his problem was solved, I don't know, but this was in the middle of our conversation (with only one attendant, I will add), and so his attention was taken away from us and put on him. Our seats were changed from seats closest to the bathroom to the middle of the plane. My husband cannot walk so 14 rows walking was not possible. I will say that finally, it took three volunteers who offered their seats to us to sit near the much needed bathroom. Regarding being seated near the bathrooms, when we asked for an aisle chair (that they told us they had on board) we were told to "stand there. we will get one in around 10 minutes). And, the wheelchair was sent all the way to the BAGGAGE CLAIM and NOT GATE CHECKED, when we arrived in Houston, we can clearly see the frame is bent, the wheels are out of alignment and the brake is also bent out of shape. The wheelchair is a custom made chair just for my husband. We will be sending Turkish Airlines the bill for a new chair if it cannot be repaired. I hope you can see to address these problems. I am not hopeful it is not normally like this for Jews who wear their head coverings.
