Výhody: "My flight was canceled and Virgin Atlantic gave us a free room in the hotel Ramada. My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"
Nevýhody: "I didn't like anything. I didn't like the communication between Virgin Atlantic with travelers, communication between Virgin Atlantic and hotel Ramada. Everything was really poorly."

And low and behold they said I can spend up to $50 on necessities. Too kind, virgin Australia, too kind."

Sat on ground at Lax for 40 min after landing because some one was at our gate. After a 3 1/2 hour flight it sucks to just sit there and wait for no reason that the pilot could give us. So much for ever getting out of the airport on time.
Everything was great until landed and had to wait 25 minutes to get into our gate! Can’t think of a good excuse for that on such a late, cross-country flight. Plenty of prep time!

Nevýhody: "ON ticketing at New Orleans I wasn't allocated a seat number. At the gate shortly prior to boarding I needed to attend the desk for that allocation. I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US."

Nevýhody: "The overhead bin did not stay down low enough so that I could place my bag in. It would lower then before I could place my bag raise slightly by a few inches. For someone of my height (5’5”) that was problematic. Fortunately another passenger saw my dilemma and held the bin lower to its full opening capacity. This also momentarily slowed down the boarding process."

Also, retrofitted to provide in-seat power with metal box under seat in front of you makes it very uncomfortable for window passengers who don't have space to stow bag under seat in front of them or for their feet. (Uncomfortable on a long flight.)"

Nevýhody: "There was nothing that could be done, but due to construction at the airport, waited on tarmac for an hour before we could get to a gate, then they had problems with the ramp and that had to be addressed. But pilot was very good about keeping us informed on delays and he was as frustrated as we were."
Výhody: "I found the seating to be to cramped on such a long flight. The person in front of me reclined back and the distance between my knees and his seat was just about an inch. I'm not s big guy on height or weight so I was quite uncomfortable. Other then that everything was great."

Nevýhody: "I did not like the fact that I have been with Delta for years and their response to me about booking my flight and using the payment method was they are working on it and there is nothing they can do. They would not even offer to hold my flight for 24 hours in case they fixed the issue within that time frame. It was very disappointing."
Výhody: "It was actually a flight from new Orleans to Detroit. Seats were assigned at the gate for myself and many others. It seemed like the gate agent didn't care where she assigned guests who were travelling together as several people were not able to sit with their travel companion. Once I was on the plane I however switched with someone to allow them to sit next to their companion and put me closers to mine. Everything else went smoothly."
There were no choices for the food. Only a vegetarian meal. The flight crew were very friendly and helpful but the food choices need to be improved.
There was a delay that made me lose my connecting flight

Výhody: "One of the crews interrupted me in the bathroom while I was using the bathroom by banging on the bathroom door saying I had stayed more than 20mins in there and that you guys have time limits to be in the bathroom even when I tried to explain to her from the bathroom that I had constipation, she"
Nevýhody: "She would not listen to me. I had to come out, unfinished, embarrassed and couldn't even wash my hands before going back to my seat. Other than that, every other experience was excellent. Please lecture your crews about constipation and to listen. Thanks."

Nevýhody: "The flights was considerably delayed, due to Lufthansa's operation issues. Information provided at the terminal was nearly non existent and the posted information on the extent of the delay was inaccurate and not updated. All in all, not effective and non communicative handling."
Výhody: "The crew was great. Very friendly and provided excellent services. I was surprised that they serve food (a cheese sandwich) and drinks for a 40 mins flight. That would have never happened in the US"

Mid flight, my daughter asked to switch with me since the guy next to her kept asking personal questions and was making her uncomfortable. Second, the in flight entertainment did not work. Third, I had pre-ordered a diabetic meal, they “think they may have given it to someone else.” Fourth, one hour delay making for a tight connection. And finally... they lost my suitcase. Should arrive in a few days."

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Nevýhody: "Business clsss sweats on A321 were coach seats with the center seat left empty. Not sir it is worth the higher fare."

Nevýhody: "We flew economy so didn’t expect much, but these seats were VERY narrow. I usually will tuck my legs up on the seat to sleep. No way, this seat was simply hip width. No room to shift from side to side."
Výhody: "The premium economy clas was wonderful. All of the amenities, comfort, room made a long trip far more enjoyable. The crew was right there to help me get to the next gate."
Nevýhody: "Frankfurt airport is dreadful. I'm elderly and being forced to climb up and down stairs to the Tarmac with luggage and then crammed into a bus to the terminal was terrible. I would avoid Frankfurt at all costs. Lufthansa needs to take some initiative with this."

Výhody: "In some airlines, you experience a different standard from Europe to America, compared to standard from Africa. Luftansa did not compromise quality. The partner maintained the same. The booking from Kayak was excellent . The travel was seamless."

I left my head phone on the plane, spoke with a Lufthansa rep they called and said I would not have time to go back for them but they would send them to me. then the flight going from Munich to Frankfurt was late so I missed my flight from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf. Waited for 3 hours then the flight to Dusseldorf was canceled. waited for 2 hours for a train ticket. then had to take another train to the airport to get a rental car. GOT TO THE HOTEL AT 11:30pm Saturday night had to be at work at 7:00am NOT HAPPY"

Výhody: "The plane was not too full and sitting in economy plus was quite comfortable on this long flight. The food was good and served often. Lots of drinks were offered with plenty of water available all during the trip. Nice blankets and pillows were on each seat."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."

Nevýhody: "Non-A380 plane feels very old now and in need of an overhaul. My biggest complaint was the food. On the outbound leg (SFO-LHR) I had the pasta dish which was dry and poorly cooked so on the return flight I opted for the beef dish which was ok. I thought that the pasta was just a one-off issue. When the pre-landing meal arrived, it was so bad I had to look at the menu to see what it was (pea mousse with artichoke and almonds). It was completely inedible. Finally the amenities bag consisted of hand cream, face lotion and lip balm as well as the std toothpaste, socks, eyeshades etc. in the past there were far more items in the bag. Overall it feels like BA has cut costs and I had a reasonable deal on my flight price which I was willing to pay just to have a lie flat bed. I can't imagine if I paid $5K for this flight and had the same experience. I recently flew Emirates from SFO to Dubai in business class and it was comparable to first class in BA."

The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Drinks were served almost immediately but it was close to 23:30 before a meal was served and 00:30 before this was cleared away. Lights were then dimmed but at 05:00 breakfast was served. A cottage cheese bagel was the last thing I wanted to see and when we asked for some water, we were told that there was none available. We landed at 06:25 but then had to sit on the tarmac for 15-20 minutes as there were no vacant gates for us. (This had the effect of increasing the parking fee for the driver waiting to pick us up, as he was not aware that we were sitting on the tarmac). Please note all times are New Orleans times. Hence actual time of landing was 12:25 BST. And talking of New Orleans, I would not class this as an International Airport. It is dilapidated, inefficient and lacking facilities."

I was in the airport in Munich at 9am, could not get a boarding pass for the London-Boston leg and asked to have an isle seat reserved - no such luck!! I was squeezed in on a window seat in a row of 3. Try to get up when the 2 people in your row are deep asleep! I was disappointed that they did not honor my request, which was made online and supposedly held in the booking system. Heathrow is another story - terrible airport, no decent food. Oh, and BA even charges for water on the European flights. How low can you go?"
