Disembarking was extremely time consuming; there were few signs instructing connecting passengers where to go; and the employees of the airport were extremely unhelpful and gave conflicting information. I made my flight with only minutes to spare after going through two security and passport checkpoints and sprinting an entire wing of the airport. I will never fly through Ataturk (or anywhere in Turkey) again."

The Turkish Airline staff informed us that we would have to wait 24 hours, purchase a hotel at our own expense, and acquire a Turkish visa, also at our own expense. When my husband asked to speak to a manager, it took 45 minutes before a staff member offered us another flight that arrived only a few hours later. All other staff members were on their personal cell phones and would not answer our questions. By the time our boarding passes we’re printed (an hour later)we had to run to our gate in order to make our flight. This left us no time to contact our driver who was picking us up and let him know when our next flight was arriving. We’re extremely disappointed in the customer service and appalled at the lack of professionalism."

Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Výhody: "They were out of the chicken in meal even before they got to a quarter of people. They did neither had an option of vegetarian diet. So basically you cannot eat anything but the sandwiches if you don't eat beef."
Nevýhody: "I was supposed to be given two boarding passes through my check-in but I was given only one. This caused a lot of confusion on the Istanbul Airport. The staff there we unbelievably rude. They caused two passengers (on separate occasions) to miss their flight right in front of my eyes due to no apparent reason. They plainly refused to cooperate with passengers."

I am not even a tall guy - just 5'10". It was bad especially when one travels internationally for 14 hours non-stop. There should be some federal regulation regarding this."
Nevýhody: "Had to cancel due tp safety situation in Turkey (bombings, Dept of State warning). I had flight insurance but Kayak did not refund a dime."

Most of the crew members were strangely not around. This resulted in two overworked crew members and lots of trays sitting on our laps for sometime. I was curios what all the other ones were doing."

The flight circled the destination and was then diverted to the second Istanbul airport, where we refueled and waited for another hour. People from the back of the plane rushed to the front of the plane while we were still taxiing on the runway at Ataturk, all to get to the front of the line. The crew was passive the entire time. Upon exiting we were herded onto busses (thus taking away the supposed advantage of those rushing the front). When finally in the terminal, I had to go through customs, purchasing a visa (for a country I did not want to visit at the time), and reclaim checked bags. I proceeded to the other carrier's counter, to be informed that the gate for my flight onward was closed. As the ticket was "promotional" I lost that ticket and had to purchase another - on Turkish! Also had to spend a night in a Turkish hotel, also on my dime."

Deplaning by row groups due to covid was a joke - we were then crammed into a bus to the Munich intl terminal. Wifi did not work at all on the 9 hr flight.

When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

Nevýhody: "The boarding process was pointless While this is a quirk of the airport, the airline should change their procedure for this scenario. LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

Nevýhody: "When I arrived, my luggage did not make the connecting flight. It was tracked down and hopefully will make it to me soon but you can see how it’s inconvenient. The first leg of my flight was operated by Wamos, though it was a LATAM flight. I know that this is something that happens often for all sorts of reasons, however I can’t help but think it had something to do with the transition of my luggage from one flight to the next. My flights home are similar ( One leg of it being operated by another airline) and needless to say I’m a bit nervous about that."
Výhody: "Their staff really try to make you comfortable. The first half of the flight was in a 767. Tight but not too bad. Really good hot food and nice collection of movies and entertainment."

They had assigned 3 people to my seat which was an isle seat I had chosen upon purchasing my ticket 5 months prior. I was changed to a middle seat. They had an extra (makeshift) security check point on the actual boarding ramp. They made everyone open their carry-on bags and suitcases on folding tables just before entering the plane. They also took beverages bought at the gift shops, right before getting on the plane which was unusual. Overall ground crew was not very customer service oriented. In flight crew was better."
Nevýhody: "Hidden baggage fees. Extra fee to check in a bag was not disclosed at the moment I purchased my ticket. This airline doesn't even provide water to passengers. It's as stingy as it gets among all other airlines I've flow and value for money is poor."

They cancelled our flight and no communication and we had to be on hold for 2 hours to be able to talk to someone and never got to, my trip both ways got cancelled once and would not recommend AA to anyone

Nevýhody: "plane from Prague to Philly is ancient, still has the drop-down screens from 1981 and the radio station dial for listening in, but that didn't even matter as the video system was down for half the flight. No electrical charging capability unless you carry a car adapter with you. Overhead space was tiny. At least they had headrests, which is weird since the seats are obviously 30+ years old. Business class and first have been upgraded with new features."

When asked to see if wevcould bd placed together she sarcastically commented that we had bought our flight through expedia and if we had dome it directky with AA we might have been together. Shame on her comment! AA offers their flights to many companies snd I now wonder if her comment is true, which makes me consider next time I choose an airline. In Buenos Aires when We checked in something similar happened and we could not book our seats the day before bcause they were all taken . The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

And lastly, the plane was freezing, even after turning off the air overhead. Everyone around me was huddled under their skinny blankets shivering."

Upon showing the immigration of Argentina my USA passport at the entry, they have NEVER asked me for any kind of proof that I would be leaving within 3 months. At first I started to purchase a ticket to Uruguay by boat and the attendant even asked me the website of the boat because she told me that these problems come up all the time for expats going to Argentina for longer than 3 months. You are ONLY AN AIRLINE. YOU ARE NOT THE IMMIGRATION OF ARGENTINA. Having this said, I never plan to fly Avianca again."

the person who did the boarding was inefficient. It was more important to him to collect my luggage than to give me my boarding pass. when he did, one of my family was duplicated and misrepresented. when I went back to ask for my boarding passes, it was gone.
Air Canada lost my ski bag on the way from Vancouver and a week later, again, on my way back to Seattle. Lost two days of scheduled ski time, one day at a remote BC hut. My lost bag was one of 6 from our group of 13 and one of 2 on the way home, of 2! I've never seen such shoddy bag handling service ever.

And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

Výhody: "The commuter terminal in Toronto is a bit of a pit. Basically a glorified hallway, which gets pretty chaotic while you are waiting for your flight, and others are queuing up. For anyone with mobility challenges it is a long hike from the main terminal."

Delay of 10 minutes to disembark once at terminal because of unexplained problem. Once at security gate D line of approx.. 30-40 people at dead standstill for 25 minutes (security issue?) . Missed connecting flight to Moncton because of above. Overnight stay in Toronto with hotel and meals approx. 35..00-400.00 extra cost. AC unwilling to pay for hotel. Lost following day's employment. Very disappointed in AC service in Toronto."
Nevýhody: "I found the seats quite uncomfortable which is unusual for me as I don't have back or neck issues. Once I was able to position the seat after take-off the comfort was improved."
Výhody: "Almost everything, from check-in, to boarding, the crew, comfort, food and entertainment were great. Was able to easily check-in from my mobile. Boarding was one hour early and gave everyone enough time (due to this, we left early about 15 minutes before actual departure time and arrived even earlier at about 40 minutes before actual arrival time). Whole crew was friendly except for one (see my other comments). Seats were comfortable and roomier compared to other airlines. Food was perfect. Did not feel hungry or bloated. Entertainment choices provided tons of movie and TV shows to choose from. Even the customs procedure at Toronto was very easy. I would fly Air Canada again to and from Tokyo. Thank you."
Nevýhody: "My flight was almost perfect except for one snafu. There was one flight attendant who gave me a broken plastic glass when I asked for apple juice. The juice was flowing out so fast that my aisle seatmate got drenched. He never offered any apologies and when my seatmate and I both asked for some extra napkins, he looked at us very rudely. It was a surprise as rest of the crew were very nice that I regret never getting his name to report here."
Výhody: "Originally this flight was scheduled to be an 1hr and 17minute flight. It only took 55 minutes from gate to gate. Flight attendant was really friendly, overall a very great experience."
Nevýhody: "The aircraft that was servicing this route was tiny and at times I found it difficult to stand up properly without hitting my head. There was a little chop upon takeoff but besides that everything went smoothly."
