We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

I had to pay 23 extra US Dollars for every Kg, summing up to $160 for 7 Kgs!! Those additional belongings were crucial and important to carry, it very well understood that a certain capacity is only allowed onboard, yet being considerate and understanding in terms of customers' needs and priorities is as equally critical and important. I think the way the airline approaches the "Extra Weight" issue needs to be revisited, keeping in mind both sides' interests and concerns."

One of them fell of right on one of the passengers. The second thing that irritates me is that one of the flight attendant approached me and was asking if I want chicken beef or pasta and I said chicken and she was like that is not an option in a very rude tone as of I am dumb or deaf of some sort. The other passengers also confirmed that they heard she did say that chicken was an option She could’ve nicely said it or apologized for telling an option that doesn’t exist. Instead she was giving an really bad attitude about it. Very irritated"

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Nevýhody: "At Budapest Airport only one check-in desk, #1 was shown on the big board for this flight and the airline Lufthansa was only shown above the check-in desk #1, which was dedicated for First/Business and M&M Gold status travellers only. Many economy class passengers queued there and at the end they were all redirected to check-in desk #3, as that was designated for Economy class passengers (however not any Lufthansa sign was shown above. When I mentioned to the ground crew (Celebi) that they should improve signs and not mishandle travellers, the person in charge (Nikolett Magyar) said to me arrogantly that they are right, and nothing they would do to improve the signs and passengers' information. This is far what I expect from LH representative, even if subcontracted and not an employee. That behaviour made my journey sour as travelling - especially with not a budget airline - is not just getting from A to B, but an experience which is worth to remember for good reasons, but not certainly for bad ones."

In particular I thought my bag would not make the connection, and as I was going on to Perugia that evening and it would have been a big mess. At check-in for the Rome flight, the LH lady was able to confirm my bag was already aboard which put me at ease. It came through very quickly in Rome and I arrived in Perugia on time and with my bag! Food from Bogota was tasty and there was a complimentary snack on flight to Rome."

Nevýhody: "Pretty big delay before departure, ended up in very stressful conditions for the rest of the trip. It became pretty obvious that we were cutting very close to the boarding time for our next flight (arrival scheduled for 4:05 pm and our flight to Chicago barding on 4:20 pm). One of the flight attendants kindly offered us to move up to the front seats of the plane on the last 15 minutes of the flight (with our luggage) so that we can exit as soon as possible. We moved (per his suggestions) and we were treated rudely by the young lady attendant of the Business Class. We explained that we moved after the suggestion of their other flying attendant. She called her supervisor on us, who in return, rudely, arrogantly and loudly started to berate us on how we "dared" to move ourselves to the Business class. After explaining the whole story again and showing her the tickets, she allowed us to stay to those seats for the last 10 minutes of the flight. We asked if an airport cart could be called to transfer us to the next gate, and they said no. We asked for information on the gate for Chicago and they did not provide one. Unfortunately, the plane landed very far from the gates. We had to enter the airport bus, which traveled for about 15 minutes before we got on a gate. There, we faced about 35 minutes of passport procedures and waiting lines. At that point, 5 minutes before our plane for Chicago was supposed to take off, we asked the passport pre-check officer what we should do (we assumed we would be missing the plane at that point) and he told us very rudely "When you REALLY miss your plane, then come back and ask me"!!!!!!!!! Then we passed through passport check and we were told to run to our gate (which by that time was no longer showing on the computer screen, and we knew about the changed number, ONLY because KAYAK sent the update to us-THANK YOU!!!). We ran for about 12 minutes. We arrived at our gate late by about 25 minutes after our flight was supposed to leave. There we were asked why we were running and when we told the guy who screened our boarding passes he responded "Well, running is good for your health..."!!!!! At that point I would have liked to give him a piece of my mind...We were told by the same guy that due to airport security issues, Frankfurt airport had so many delays in the last couple of weeks that planes know to wait for the late passengers. Couldn't someone have told us that before? We have NEVER been treated so poorly by an airline and we will NOT fly with them again. The LUFTHANSA customer service was terrible. We have not encountered such arrogance and lack of information for many years...Shame on them! AND we were not the only Americans running. There were families with little children and older people, etc etc, just because the Lufthansa attendants and ground crew did not feel like giving us the information we needed!!!"

That's why I was in the restroom when they blocked me in My headset jack was broken. 500 movies aren't worth anything if I can't hear them"
