Nevýhody: "Two key issues: 1. Split up seating 2. Required to pick up and check baggage with limited time due to customs check. 1. They split up all four of our seats (despite booking more than 30 days in advance). Our seven (7) year old daughter was by her self. So was our fifteen (15) year old son. When we addressed it to baggage check (part of major issue number 2), they put two seats together, across an aisle, with both children in them. We obviously just sat one of the adults with the seven year old. This was not just us. SEVERAL families had children seated alone and spread all over the plane. ANA needs to require grouped seating for children under thirteen (13) years old with an adult. 2. Tokyo Haneda is the only airport I can think of where I have to pick up and check baggage again just to clear customs. The flights were 1 hour and 45 minutes apart. With nearly an hour dedicated to getting baggage claimed and getting through customs, we barely had time to fix two of our split seats (see issue 1) and rush via a free bus route that took 6 minutes (luckily we were first stop) to get us to domestic terminal 2. We were then lucky again because we made it through security quickly and our gate happened to be right next to the security check we chose. Another side piece: Haneda Domestic Terminal 2 has four security check areas (A-D). We saw no identifying marks indicating which were closest to which gate. Our bags have already been through a bag check process. Feel free to run them through security scans. Don’t make us wait to collect them just to walk them through the customs desk and check them again."

Výhody: "This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much."

I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding."

And the problem is when they are getting drunk, the guy back to his sit and take something in his cabin, because he can not control his actions so some stuff from his bag drop down over my head also my body. I was mad but how should i do? Point at his face and tell something bad? Oh i can not. canbin crew just comes and say sorry with me. That is a bad flight that i ever had. You treat customers well but you should have a limit. Im so disappointed about my flight of that day. Thank you"

Nevýhody: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."

The crew is polite, well kept, and dare I say very good looking. All my flights with them departed and arrived as scheduled, always!"

TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!"

Výhody: "The flight attendants were very acccomodating. The movie choices were great, which is very important while on a 12 hour flight. They handed everyone a warm, wet wash cloth before dinner was passed. Everyone also received a package that included a pair of slippers, lip balm, tooth brush and tooth paste. We hadn't received anything like this on any of our other flights. These were small jesters that make you feel great!"
Výhody: "Everyone did a great job handling the new ban of all large electronics. This new rule imposed by the US is completely ridiculous and rather illogical; however, Turkish Airlines did a great job of making it as minimally burdensome as possible."
Nevýhody: "Splitting passengers up into male and female lines in order to be processed before boarding the flight seemed to create a lot of anxiety for passengers traveling with their significant others. I would advise figuring out a way to efficiently process groups without having to split them up by gender."

Výhody: "The quality of service, food and beverage variety, entertainment selection, and overall aircraft condition were superb. From the fresh flowers in the toilet rooms to the selection of top shelf alcohol, it was all first class, and all of this in economy. People who have not flown them will be amazed."
Nevýhody: "The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that the aircraft was a Boeing 777 which is new, but less roomy than the Airbus A330."
Výhody: "The attendant at check in was anything but attentive. We asked if the flight was full and she replied with a face gesture that indicated 'no' (it was a 1.50am flight) so we asked if possible to upgrade with points and she totally ignored, spoke in Turkish to 2 other check in colleagues, printed the boarding passes and almost threw them down on the counter without responding on upgrade. We felt too intimidated to ask any more. Also our mileage points for this sector of our travel were not booked to our KrisFlyer accounts so wondering if she did not capture at check in."
Nevýhody: "The cabin was quite warm and unable to adjust any air flow to the seat. Because the flight wasn't full my husband was able to move to a vacant group of seats and lie down so eventually cooled down and got some sleep. Otherwise excellent flight"

Nevýhody: "The crew when boarding the plane in Istanbul were downright RUDE. Not just rude, they were unhelpful, unwilling to listen, and were actually offensive. It was quite bad. The boarding process was also terrible. The boarding area was stifling hot, crowded, and disorganized. There was no announcement telling us when it was delayed, there was no information about where to line up, and people were chaotically cramming in everywhere. They could have done a much better job of that."
