Better rapport with passengers in business class. Food that was served in economy class is now served in business class. Not the level of business class food. Economy class passengers should be getting snacks and drinks like they did before. Put back the pride in Croatia Airlines. I'm Croatian and I was always proud of our flights. Now quality is lower. Staff was nice, some more then others. Lufthansa flights have nice choice of drinks, but this time food was a bit basic. Well, that can happen. Hopefully next time there will be better choice of food. Staff was ok, not great. One flight attendant was amazing. Business class top quality, although she wasn't even assigned to business.

Perhaps boarding by groups would help a bit with the organization during boarding. There is a lack of space for overhead bags, and this caused some stress amongst the passengers.

According to the locals, my misfortune was a common one, that Croatia Air has been neglecting to fix for years: The small planes that make the Zagreb to Dubrovnik flight can't actually complete the flight to Dubrovnik many times a year. The plane can barely make it to Dubrovnik when filled to capacity, and when the wind is high, it needs spare fuel to attempt the landing. High winds on small runways mean the plane often fails to land and needs to circle back around and try again. But it doesn't have enough fuel so they don't even try to fly to Dubrovnik, and land halfway across the country in Split instead. Adding a 5 hour bus trip to the end of 48 hours of sleepless flying was Not Good. Being on a bus ride without good air flow where most of the passengers took off their masks while the pandemic still raged was Not Good. Having missed my pickup from the airport and arriving at 4AM was Not Good. There not being enough taxis at the place the bus drops off at 4AM was Not Good. I ended up stumbling through a cold town in the middle of the night for an entire hour, dragging my luggage uphill for two miles. Croatian Airlines needs to fix their Dubrovnik route, so this stops happening. All the locals rolled their eyes and complained of how common this diversion is. Either put a better-sized runway at the airport so that planes can reliably land even in high winds, or put a plane with the fuel reserves to make the repeated attempts needed on this route, or both.

On my flight to Zaghreb i had an Echo Classic ticket with baggage allowance and on my return suddenly an eco light without allowance. Had to pay more than 50 Euros for my luggage.

Nevýhody: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Výhody: "I have a servere hearing problem and was concerned (since we were late leaving Zurich for my changeover in Frankfurt), that I would be late because I can't hear any loudspeaker systems (either on planes or in airports). I felt that I could get easily lost between flights and not have time to get to the Frankfurt/Denver flight. I told this to the person at the gate in Zurich, and he immediately arranged for someone to meet me in Frankfurt and take me there. I was met by Maika in Frankfurt and she was just excellent--personable and efficient and really helpful. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the person at the gate in Zurich. He was also great. I wouldn't have done this if I had had more time, but this really made my day (and my flight!) ! Thank you!"

So I try to call Austrian, but they work just from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. I start to search all the info the site of Austrian, and find one phone number that seats be working 24 hours. So finally I got a person on the phone who was able to help me. ..."
Nevýhody: "I wanted to buy an checked-in luggage, but Austrian site did not worked properly, repeatedly gave an error message. I ended up buying it at the counter desk, in the airport, at a much higher price."

Výhody: "Make sure your carry on luggage is less then 8 kg. Or you would have to check it at your own cost. The food is OK but the portion is very small. If you want a window or isle seat, it would’ve cost you 30 euro to reserve it. The crew is very nice. I guess because the air fare is very cheap, they need to do everything to make the extra cash."

I suppose those are cheaper, but I would think both Austrian and Lufthansa (they seemed to be using almost identical entertainment systems with almost identical offerings) would benefit from limiting their movie options much more towards movies with, say, above a 70% Rotten Tomatoes rating or above average box office sales. Even if they had fewer films, say 40 instead of 56, the ones they have would be more popular."

Výhody: "I fly this route on Austrian 5 times a year, and I nearly always choose Austrian because it hast the overall best 'package' - a comfortable plane with excellent sleeping seats in business class, the best airline food in the world from Do & Co, the nicest staff that really cares about your well being and the quickest connection between Bangkok and Vienna."

Nevýhody: "There was no space. Even though I wore compression socks and got up to walk frequently, my legs were bruised as I could not stretch out for any extended time. The seats are cramped and you are in one position. The flight was almost 9 hours and it was too much for me."
Výhody: "The meal and drink service was quite good. The stewards/stewardesses were very attentive and kind."
Nevýhody: "There is not enough leg room. There is even less room if the person in front of one's seat has the seat reclined. The seats barely recline at all, so sleep is impossible. Sleep would be possible if there were enough room to rest one's head on the tray in front of the seat. This is impossible if the person in front of one's seat has reclined his or her seat. Thus, sleep is totally impossible on this aircraft. The sinks in the bathrooms also need to be deeper and need to drain more quickly."

Nevýhody: "During the time of COVID, I would expect the crew to follow restrictions and procedures. Nobody from the crew paid attention if all passengers have their face masks. In fact, most of the passengers didn't have masks on their mouth and nose. Many of them didn't have them at all. Crew didn't care. If this is how LOT pays attention to our health during travel, I will definitely not fly with them anymore. 2 months earlier flying with Lufthansa and all crew was very strict about the rules and everybody on board was wearing a mask."

There was no plane waiting for them in Budapest and they got re-routed to Vienna. Which then took them to krakow. They had to take off their luggage everytime they got off the plane and they are 80 years old. There were no escalators or elevators. The airlines lost one of their suitcases and promised it the next day and they have not received it yet. Horrible flight."

Nevýhody: "Both the check-in AND gate agents seemed to ignore that you are allowed one personal item (e.g. purse) and one small rolling suitcase (sized and weighed as per LOT requirements) and tried to insist that we check in our small suitcases (for free). In the end, they did relent, but I was surprised at this. There was a small but decent variety of snacks for this 4+ hour flight."

Nevýhody: "We checked in the night before and got confirmations by email and text. When we got to the airport and the flight was canceled, they said that they did not have our contact information!"

I had paid in advance for two seats next to each other for myself and my boyfriend and they moved me to another seat and then said to bad, complain to polish airlines! We were sitting there for 2 hours and they couldn’t come and tell us they were moving me, they just separated us and said too bad?"

Well imagine my shock because I had CHECKED IN when I arrived to the airport in Split for my first flight on this airline. My bag was checked all the way through to New York so there was no indication that they had not confirmed me on the flight. I plan to follow up with the airline as needless to say I had a horrible experience fighting with them to get on my flight that I paid $700 for one way. Unacceptable."

Delayed almost 2h

The crew was efficient and welcoming. Boarding was a bit messy, some delay in the cleaning, it seems. All the rest was accordingly the flight tipology.

I was held-up at boarding by rude employee who insisted that I had to wait until all other passengers had boarded the lane before issuing me a boarding pass so I can board the plane. I could not check-in earlier and get a boarding pass since I had flown directly from Dusseldorf.

She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."

I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

I am used to meeting carryon SIZE requirements but the weight requirement was extremely irritating and unexpected. I would not have been able to do a one bag carryon of my clothing with the weight restrictions. It essentially forces a passenger to check their bag ($65 minimum)."

Then they were selling scratch tickets AND perfume and jewelry! THEY EVEN SPRAYED PURFUME ON THE PLANE! It gave me such a trrrible headache and made me even more nauseous than I already was from the flight!!! So smelly!!! The seats didn’t recline And my husbands seat was ripped. So terrible all around!!!"
