Výhody: "Really pleased they fly to Austin,Texas direct from London. They give a very cost effective alternative to BA. We upgraded to Premium for a reasonable fee. We liked the masses of leg room but on a night flight it is impossible for the middle/window passenger to escape as all seats are back with footrests extended. The cabin crew were very good. The plane was new and very clean. Roast beef salad for breakfast was tasty if unusual."
Nevýhody: "Low cost premium is rare, and some cost cutting is understandable. That said....Premium seats weren’t that comfortable. I’m not too tall (6 feet) but they didn’t support my back well. There was no music entertainment so ensure you bring your own. There is plenty of power. The film selection is the same in both directions and pretty limited. Not a problem if you are sleeping though. Note: When upgraded you don’t seem to get all your prepaid extras refunded and we couldn’t choose our seats in Premium. There is no business lounge in Austin. (There was in Gatwick). The Norwegian app never linked to my reservation automatically. Some synchronisation work required there. Unlike other premium flights the drinks service was pretty limited. I didn’t enjoy eating out of a cardboard box, but the food was tasty."

Nevýhody: "Very poor customer service as the Norwegian staff at JFK are not employees of the airline. They have very little care or concern for any travel issues that may occur. They are there to process passengers through. If you have any questions or need help you are passed to a very uninterested person that only can tell you to go on the Norwegian website for anything you need to do with your booking. The check-in and gate agents provide no help or even attempt to try serve the customer. They are just there to perform a task. Norwegian sold premium seats and then puts the customer in Economy in the back of the plane. A bit is a bait and switch. They should refund the difference in the fare to be fair."

Nevýhody: "I bought the ticket at the last minute and couldn't pre-pay for luggage or food. The food cost me and my companion $50 for sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Even water and soda is $3 for a small can. If you want a blanket, they charge, if you want anything, they charge. Luggage was over $80. Just pay more for a different airline, it will be less."
Výhody: "We took what was to be a 9 hour flight from Denver to London and the service was great. My fiancée has allergies to food and the staff took good care of her and made sure that she was getting meals that had no triggers in them. For me the seats are always a bit too tight for people with real shoulders. It’s okay though I’m used to that. But then landing 40 minuets early was great. It allowed us to go through the border and still be on our way as quickly as if we were home in the states."
Výhody: "I believe the only thing I did like about the trip was the easement of getting checked to board the plane. Other than that, maybe just the price of my flight."
Nevýhody: "Where to begin, first of all the flight was delayed. And not just one or two hours, but almost 5 hours! The communication from the boarding crew was atrocious, as they did not keep us informed until maybe an hour after the fact that it was already delayed. After finally being cleared to board we were all cramped and rushed on a shuttle from the waiting area to the plane. I've been on cramped planes before, but maybe not this badly. I received a middle seat, which was alright, but the amount of space to move around in was unacceptable. I attempted to load my carry on in the storage compartment overhead but it was all taken up. That made matters worse in terms of having space to stretch my feet out, as the person's next to me were not the kindest and kept cramping me even more. The delaying of my flight made me miss my check in to my hotel two hours later. I lost most of my day I'm being able to have free time before the check in due to it. Overall, I was not satisfied one bit with the airline service. I just hope that my return flight is a more pleasant one."

Nevýhody: "3+ hours of delay on a 6 hour flight isn't acceptable (DY7148 from Boston to LGW on Jan 7 2018). After late arrival of the aircraft, "weather" caused a 1 hour delay in boarding and another hour of delay for loading bags. The only "weather" in Boston was "cold" (aka winter). Perhaps they'd have to cancel the flight if someone saw a snowflake."

I specifically heard one attendant who had swapped out a meal for a passenger say out loud "she didn't like her vegan meal so she wanted another one" in front of the passenger. I found that rude and accusing. I know I did not pay for food and I expected that. However, I think that's a bit austere for a 10 hour flight. Not even water offered for non-paying passengers. I don't know how you expect people to be healthy and ok on such a long flight without water.. Will not be flying Norwegian again."

My sense is that Norwegian wants to pull you in with low prices- then somehow tries to get you to pay enormous amounts for food or services because you are a captive audience. So I am not impressed and would have to say that other airlines are better. I think with a proper strategy you can make Norwegian Air work."
Nevýhody: "I got to the airport at 8:45 for a 10:25 flight with carry on only. Carry on I have used with Norwegian in the past, and was actually packed minimally as this trip is only 4 days. The person at the kiosks who did the weighing of luggage was barely understandable. No one was helpful, instead it was like some game t weigh the bag and tell someone it was a kilo over. After I stood in line for 45 min, the bag weighed in at 8.6 kilos!! Clearly under the requirement, but as I was told to stand in line I was forced to check that bag and pay $65 (and to pay you had to move to a separate line that took another 30 min). As you can imagine 40% of the plane was in the same spot and then even with the flight boarding, no Norwegian staff assisted all of these passengers to get through security. Miserable!"

Nevýhody: "The plane on inbound flight to London was overbooked by 51 seats. The crew did not see that I paid for a premium seat and after 3 hours of waiting at the checking counter I was the last person receive a seat on the plane and was downgraded to coach. My luggage was never put on the plane - although the crew promised they would assure my suitcase made it on. On the way back (LON - FTT) the airline did not have any headphones and did not have any snacks for purchase - obviously very poor planning for a cross-Atlantic flight. If they were unable to properly stock the plane prior to departure, they should have notified people waiting at the gate, so that the passengers would have the opportunity to purchase those items at the airport prior to departure."
Výhody: "All in all a great flight both there and back. I'd recommend this airline without hesitation. I didn't have a single issue with them. Great plane with all the new gadgets etc, love that the windows could be dimmed for sleep/watching movies. Lots of leg room, bonus for me was that both flights I had nobody next to me so I was also able to lie down! Shopping system worked great, every time I ordered I received my food/drink within minutes. Boarding was carried out in number order and worked well as they give themselves loads of time. There was no backlog of passengers waiting for that one person (there is always one!) to arrange their overhead space perfectly!! Would definitely fly with them again."

Nevýhody: "No complementary water tea or coffee. That is very basic for any flight over six hours. It was a big surprise to pay $45 for each seat in order to reserve ahead of time. We traveled as a family of five. Not so cheap as advertised will think twice next time."

Nevýhody: "The food quality wasn't great on the supplied meals, the best option is to buy at the airport and take onboard. Delayed flight almost guaranteed. No IFE on our flight home apart from a few TV shows. No movies. Crew are hit or miss with the quality. Some are good, some are not so good or welcoming. Gate staff/set up wasn't great and not much information about the delayed departure given out."

Nevýhody: "Apparently they had no idea what they were doing with food. You were supposed to pre order food at time of booking and pay extra if you want a meal. I didn't even realize this was legal on a 10 hour international flight. Thank God our food was apparently booked since we booked through kayak. The flight attendants were walking around with a piece of paper with the seats that had preordered food handwritten on them. It took forever to get our food. We didn't get it until about 3 hours after take off (which was 10:30pm at the origin). It was completely disorganized and made no sense. Based on this alone, I have no plans on flying Norweigan again except for my return flight back home."

Nevýhody: "I arrived one hour before the scheduled departure with and the gate attendants had disappeared. Nobody could help, nobody could direct me where to go or who to call, the person on he phone when I called Norwegian was unhelpful and rude and informed me that nobody that worked for Norwegian or associated was at a the airport and that if I wanted to change my flight I would have to do so within the next 10 minutes (from that moment but that there were no flights available that would get me there on time more my engagement 36 hours later) this was one of the worst airline experiences (and indeed any consumer experience) I have ever endured. I am planning to launch a very aggressive and hopefully damaging social campaign against Norwegian, APS (the incompetents that apparently are the contractors for Norwegian at he airport), and potentially Kayak for the role each group has played in this charade."
Výhody: "The Dreamliner is a great plane if you get a premium seat."
Nevýhody: "I wanted to book a premium seat but they had sold out. I bought extra leg room thankfully and a very narrow middle row seat. I would never book that again. Very uncomfortable. Despite paying an elevated Flex fare I did not even get a free blanket on take off and had to pay $5 for one. What a rip off."
Nevýhody: "My flight was cancelled, and I understand Easyjet couldn't control that, but the way they handled the situation was absolutely terrible. I waited in line for 3 hours trying to talk to a representative about rebooking my flight and getting a hotel, but after a while they said they couldn't book hotels anymore and we would have to do it ourselves. After three hours of waiting in a line that barely moved I decided to give up and went to my hotel which I had to book myself and booked a flight for the next morning with a different airline."

Nevýhody: "Flight was about 20-30 minutes late in departing and there were absolutely no announcements and no-one at the boarding counter to keep customers informed. People were left standing in a a crowded room which was too small for all the passengers while no announcement was made. Even when they finally boarded, there was no recognition of the flight being late and no apology. One we were on board, the cabin crew then made a rather abrupt and rude announcement telling the passengers to board quickly otherwise we would lose our slot time and be delayed by a further one hour. Fortunately that additional delay did not happen. However, I did not appreciate the passengers being berated for "slow" boarding when the flight was boarded 20-30 minutes late."
Výhody: "Plane, crew and all other aspects on boarders very good."
Nevýhody: "They overbooked and denied me from boarding even though I was on time. They first told me the next available flight with an opening would be 48 hours later, and a couple hours later they told me never mind, the next available flight wouldn't be avIlble until 5 entire days later. Trip ruined, my first international flight ever. After 6+ hours of battling on the phone with them and looking for other flights (prices starting at 700% of my original booking price) I accepted defeat, left the airport, headed home and went to sleep. When I woke up the next day version of the same flight on the same airline was available for only about 210% the original booking price, a flight they specifically told me would not be available to me for a transfer. They ultimately booked the transfer "free of charge" although they tried to tell me I would not be refunded for the original flight, nor granted the voucher for a future flight that they originally tried to offer me to pacify me, nor would they pay me the compensation I am legally entitled to in these circumstances for 400% of the original booking price up to $1,350 for international flights delayed by at least 4 hours. In other words, I had to choose between getting to my destination a day late after incurring many additional expenses as a result of their overbooking practices and being told the next flight was in 144 hrs (a day before my originally planned return date), or canceling the trip maybe possibly being partially compensated for all the money I already put into the trip. All in all about the worst experience I could imagine short of the plane crashing or them punching me in the face and then laughing at me just for fun."

Nevýhody: "On an 11 hour flight, 1 water was made available. Everything else including food and any snacks was for pay. With a $1400 ticket that is ridiculous! Every other airline will give you at least drinks and snacks on a commuter flight and meals on international. No online checkin, no seat selection until ticketing, incredibly expensive flight change fees, flight service was bad. I will not fly Norwegian airlines again."
Nevýhody: "Norwegian boasts of having great legroom, entertainment and food options but after a 3 hour delay for an 11pm flight, the plane that was used was an old 777 from another random European budget airline. I'm only 5'6" and my knees where touching the seat in front of me. When the person in front of me reclined I was literally trapped and had to climb onto my seat and over the armrest. There was no working entertainment system and the food was some terrible fare that didn't meet any very low standard for an international flight. The crew was clearly understaffed but they were pleasant enough. also the plane was not clean. Before wed even taken off you could smell sewage from the bathroom. Overall it was unpleasant and not all worth the "budget" price of $800."

I had a window seat but it was impossible for me to get by the other seats because there was no space for egress. Also, air ducts overhead were furry from neglect--they hadn't been cleaned in a while and had a not of dirty dust around them."

Nevýhody: "North terminal is terrible it is almost designed to be anti anyone with a disability the walk is far too long and the lift from tarmac is code protected so can’t be used. My partner had awful distress walking up the three flights of stairs to the Concorde as she had a bad knee, not bad enough to warrant mobility aid but by the end of the journey to the outside of the terminal she was almost in tears. We were very disappointed at the lack of management for the old the young and anyone with slight disabilities. So much more can be done."

Nevýhody: "The queue to check in that was caused partly by weighing cases for the cargo hold and trying to charge extra at a higher 'desk rate' forcing people to either pay the desk rate or open their bags and transfer stuff to their carry on bag. The lack of room for carry on bags, requiring that some bags be transferred to the hold (caused by the above 'luggage transferring fiasco). The two people at the desk with a queue of hundreds waiting to check in. The one hour delay in the flight. The marathon walk to the other end of the airport to board the plane."
Výhody: "The crew were still very professional, smiled all the way despite the delays and tired customers. It was one of the most quick boarding which felt right due to the time."

Meant we had to run and stress ourselves to get next transport. We are too old for all that. If not for all that I would have been saying what a great flight"

At no point, even after they had failed to fit the seat, did they say it was ok for me or two of my children to sit back down. All attention was on the passengers they were dealing with directly."

As they push the seats close to eachother to get more people in, you find yourself sitting so close to strangers. Person in front of me hit me everytime he moved his armes. Check in was awful. We had to beg to get their attention to ask a question. Girls were so busy chatting. Boarding, so slow. Only one person. He was nice and polite. But process so slow."

Next time, i'd rather spend the extra £s and use a proper airline."

Nevýhody: "The plane was delayed but we were called to gate regardless and had to stand on the airplane ramp for a long time, then the pilot announced he'd missed his rake-off slot and we had to sit on tarmac for further hour. The pilot, note any other staff, apologised for delay upon landing despite it being the fault of staff boarding customers so slowly and pilot not pushing back in time to get allocated take-off slot. I will be avoiding easyJet flights to/from Gatwick as they are ALWAYS delayed."

The aircraft stops at the middle-of the airport in Budapest and we had to walk a very long stretch to get to the airport in the cold since the plane was not connected to a gate. For sone confusion they stopped boarding in the middle and passengers had to stand in the freezing cold , outside the aircraft , in the middle of the airport for a very long time. Hated the flight. Charges you for every single think you can think and not think off. Every passenger seemed frustrated"

I disliked that we got told there was a problem with the engine but they didn't allow us to either get off the plane or change plans we just sat there as they ran test after test. Asking us to sit down for them to see if the engine is working okay. They asked a member of the public who was sat by the wing to keep an ear out for any funny noises. We stayed on the runway for an hour and a half after it was already delayed. Once we set off in fear that the engine might fail again Ryanair didn't even off us a free glass of water to show appreciation for peoples tolerance. It honestly isn't worth the money you save."

Then the guy at check-in told us we were already supposed to have our boarding passes printed out and that he was not able to print them for us. Basically, it was a "figure it out for yourself" sort of situation. We went to another counter, not even directly associated with Ryan, and a very nice gentleman there printed our passes for us. He also seemed really confused as to why the Ryan Air employee wouldn't print them for us. Then, we weren't given a gate assignment until 20 mintues before the time we were supposed to board. How do you expect your customers to be prepared if you can't even tell them where they are supposed to go until the last minute? Then they made us board a bus to take us to the plane on the tarmac which was not a big deal. But they made us stand on the bus for 20+ mintues before they took us over to the plan. The bus was completely full, so it's not like they were waiting to load more passengers. The doors to the bus were open, so it was freezing cold (our flight was late at night) and we were forced to breath in exhaust fumes from the bus the entire time! The flight was also an hour delayed!!! I know it's a super cheap ticket, but do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to fly on an airline that actually knows what they're doing. This is my first and most definitely LAST time flying on Ryan Air. If I could give zero stars, I would."

They loaded the Dublin flight through the same gate we were supposed to be flying from and we’re putting them on buses keeping them there 10 minutes pulling them off the buses, putting them back on the buses. It was an absolute joke. On the flight the cabin crew were slow, again no information at all. Just stood there looking useless and chatting ignoring passenger call lights. We landed in Stansted and they couldn’t open the gate as the ground staff “couldn’t find the key” keeping us on the plane for an extra 10-15 minutes with no AC. Terrible experience would never book Ryanair ever again."

I love discount airlines, but being charged for things that would make me happier while not costing the airline a penny is too far. Ryanair gets your initial business with artificially low rates and then nickle-and-dimes you until you pay at least as much as you would by just going with an honest carrier that charges normal prices up front. I am tired of being messed about when there are equivalently priced carriers that aren't such shysters."

However, my carry-on is TSA approved, it has a lot of pockets so it may appear to be a bit bigger but I don't overstuff and I've had no issue getting my bag into the overhead bin. Granted, the officer was kind when she said it, but I also measured my bag and weighed it before my flight and I shouldn't feel there should be an issue with my bag. On my return flight I had souvenirs in my bag (meaning more in my SAME bag) and no one said a word about my carry-on."

It would be very useful if cabin crew made the passengers aware of this to avoid it happening time after time with others/flights"

Boarding messy as no seat order called hence isles blocked, most planes load back seats first keeping isles free, this plane had back & front stair gangways but weren't told."

They made a big fuss about the sizes of our bags and threatened to charge up to $55 per bag if they needed to check them at the gate! They have tiny compartments at the gate but our bags fit without any issues on the plane itself."
