The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Nevýhody: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Nevýhody: "- Tiny, cramped seats and aisles. I'd heard the Quatar has more leg room than other airlines. This is definitely not true. If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Bathrooms were dirty by 4 hours into the 14 hour flight. Sinks clogged, garbage can overflowing. Not just one bathroom. Gross. - Worst flight attendant service I've ever had, and I don't expect much since I've traveled a lot. Service was rushed, coffee cart for our side of plane never arrived, when I walked to the back to ask for some, they couldn't find the milk and made a fuss about looking for sugar. Lots of similar examples throughout the flight. - The baggage claim carousel number never appeared on the screens at IAD after landing. Other flights showed but not Quatar. We waited a while then walked around to check them all until we found the right carousel. Never seen this happen before. - One of our bags never appeared, so we waited until all luggage had come out and checked with the counter. They found our bag somewhere and brought it over after a 20 minute wait. No explanation given. Good thing we'd counted bags."

I should have suspected a problem when I was requested to change seat in order to assist a family who were in separate seats. Moving was difficult as the plane was being loaded. I managed to get to the seat offered to find someone sitting in it. To top it off the individual was wearing a surgical mask and carrying a large immigration bag. I requested a seat forward but I was denied and I later saw other passengers moved forward to seats that I was denied. If I had known that the flight would have been full of possibility sick immigrants I would have chosen another flight or airline. At certain times the smells were very bad. I felt as a ff member I should have been treated better or been made aware of possible health risks."

Nevýhody: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

At the gate I was connecting for Islamabad, there was not a single seating arrangement. When I complained about it to emirates desk, the staff was extremely rude. Such arrogance and an attitude that you instantly abhor. In my opinion, these Emirates people are most racist people in the world. The way they treat passengers from developing countries is vile. Even onboard, they treat 'white' passengers much differently than they would for a brown skin. I would never fly Emirates again. I plan to write against them in some leading newspaper for being racist. If people like us stay quiet and injustice and humiliating attitude they have against us, we will continue to suffer. I can pay a higher price for any other airline but I decline to ever fly with Emirates at the expense of my dignity."

Nevýhody: "The seat was uncomfortable because it did not convert into a completely horizontal bed. The small incline meant that I could not get comfortable and could not sleep. The screens remain on even when passengers go to sleep, making it very bright in the cabin. It would be good if staff could walk through and turn them off manually."

Výhody: "Emirates is easily the beeeest airline out there. Their economy beats almost every other airline, and their rewards system is fantastic (truly rewarding -- I get free flights all the time for being a Skywards Silver member). The food is so much better than other airlines too. I ordered a vegan meal and their vegan meals over the past 6 years went from absolutely awful to incredibly delicious and gourmet. Their entertainment system is also the best Ive seen across all airlines. They have movies that are literally still in theaters, as well as old classics, comedies, horrors, tv shows, world movies in every language, audiobooks, meditation guides and more. The crew is totally accommodating. Happy to keep flying on Emirates for every flight !"
Nevýhody: "I haaaate that there are no footrests. It literally makes the biggest difference. These flights are always so long and its impossible to sleep unless you have three or so seats in a row to yourself."

Nevýhody: "There was a long bus journey at the airport in Dubai for a flight from Dubai to Lahore. All passengers including myself were very surprised. When the bus stopped neat the air craft for boading, ground staff were seen collecing heavy hand carry luggage from the passengers for putting them in a separate compartment for taking as a cargo, which caused another delay in boading. Old air craft on this route should be replanced. Before boading from Dubai to Lahore, I checked my flight status several times on flight information screen but my flight was not shown on it. Later, I checked on hand touch screen and came to know that gate was B2."

Thin people should not be hassled! I am saving a hundred or so pounds by not weighing so much! Stop hassling us for carry-ons!"

If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Nevýhody: "The flight was late and I almost lost my connecting flight."

Výhody: "By far the worst experience I've ever had in my life. 1. A day after I perches a multi destination tickets I called Swiss air costumer service requesting to upgrade my tickets to business class. no one would even try to help me. They just kept saying I need to contact my travel agent. After 3 phone calls I gave up and decided to wait and upgrade my ticket at the airport. 2. In Prague the night before my second flight I hurt my knee real bad to a point that I couldn't walk at all. The next morning I call Swiss air costumer service again trying to explain them my situation telling them I can't fly and won't be able to make it to my flight. Costumer service cancelled immediately all of my remaining tickets and try to sell me new tickets for a full price. I said I don't mind buy and pay for the one flight I missed but there is no reason for her to re sell me the rest of my tickets that I already paid for, again. Then she start to change prices up and down like in a Chinese flea market. At that point I begged her to talk to a supervisor but she Kept ignoring my request and just try to negotiat for a lower charg she kept me on the phone for 5 hours. My hotel phone bill for that one call cost me 150€. I never got to talk to a supervisor but she took down the charge to 517$ Not included a new ticket flying out of Prague. 3. For my last flight going home. I showed up 2.5 hours Earlier. asking to upgrade my sit to business fin desk send me to talk to asupervisor. The supervisor was trying to process my request but didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. One minute he was on his computer then the next minute on the phone with Swiss air headquarter then back on his computer for more then 35 minutes with no resolute. I still had an hour and half before take off when he told me he can print me the ticket but it's to late now since the gate for my flight is close and I already missed my flight. I said that's impossible cause I still have an hour and half to my flight but he insist on the gate been close and there is no way I can get on that flight. Right away I run back to front desk asking them to print my ticket as fast as possible cause I would really like to get on that flight. In front desk they told me not to worry cause I got plenty of time to get on that flight. So I gave up on the business upgrade and told them that at that point I'll be just as happy to sit by the window. Of course they put me on the very end exactly in the middle. After the door was locked I looked around and saw plenty of free sits available including by the window. 4. In Zurich I finally managed to upgrade my last flight coming back to Tampa fl to business and noticed that the only way they could do that was by contacting Swiss air headquarter for approval. When I asked why is that since I fly a lot and never seen anything like that before one of the lady's there told how Swiss air left all of their front desk powerless and all decisions must be made by headquarters."
Nevýhody: "When we finally arrived in Tampa. It hook them an hour and a half to get are bags out. I honestly doubt I'll ever fly Swiss airlines again. Ever. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had flying. Ps the crew on the plain ware a lot nicer and more professional the people on the ground."

Výhody: "Everything!! This airline is a huge breath of fresh (old?) air. It reminded me of how air travel used to be. No baggage charge - we only checked one bag. There was plenty of great food and drink - alcoholic drinks were free. We will definitely look to use SwissAir whenever possible."

Výhody: "There were a couple of stewardesses who were nice and helpful to the passengers. The food selection was fairly good. Drinks were available at regular intervals. Flight was comfortable except for some turbulence during landing."
Nevýhody: "There was no pre-boarding for families with kids. They waited until the entire Business and First Class passengers boarded in Zurich before they allowed us. This was different in Mumbai where Swiss had families with kids board early. The airbus was not well maintained as fara s cleanliness was concerned. There were bathroom supplies on the toilet floor. Crumbs and food particles on the seats/crevices from the earlier flight"

Nevýhody: "THERE'S SOO LITTLE LEG SPACE BETWEEN SEATS ON THE ECONOMY SECTION I IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, SPECIALLY FOR A TALL PERSON ON A LONG FLIGHT.......ADDING TO THE FACT THAT THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU MIGHT DECIDE TO BE SOOO COMFORTABLE,HE'D PULL HIS SEAT ALL THE WAY BACK WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION!!!..THAT PUTS THE SCREEN ONLY INCHES AWAY FROM YOUR FACE!!..BESIDES, THE CHECK-IN MACHINES AT THE ZURICH TERMINAL ARE A HARD TO UNDERSTAND..TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CHECK-IN WITHOUT SUCESS!!"

Nevýhody: "The security process in the Prague airport is so ridiculous. There are security agents who screen you in the baggage drop off line that makes the line take a very long time. Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Nevýhody: "There really needs to be a way the airlines can better make seating assignments. I was in a window seat and the woman in the middle seat was so large that her arms took all of the arm rest and some of my seat area. Even crossing my arms I was unable to not have her arm up against me."

Nevýhody: "5 minutes until boarding at JFK we were told to transfer gates; upon arriving by shuttle to the new gate, passengers were informed the aircraft was downsized and 20 people needed to be bumped. I volunteered since I had a flexible schedule so Delta re-issued me a ticket at 9am JFK for a 10am flight out of La Guardia. I trusted them I'd make it in time and they said they called taxis for us so we left to go catch them. Actually, no taxis were to be found so we had to call our own and were significantly delayed. I was in the first group of 5 people to be re-issued and arrive at La Guardia. Everyone else bolted but my new boarding pass didn't work and they actually didn't properly re-issue my ticket as I had been booked as leg 3 of my international flight from Malaysia. After they called three different departments including China they were able to print my ticket at 9:54am so I sprinted through the security and to my gate and was able to somehow make the flight as they were closing the door. However probably 14 or so of the original bumped passengers definitely didn't make it."

More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative."

The Lufthansa gate agent said she didn't think they would be checked again and to just have boarding passes ready. So I packed the passports on my carryon backpack and just had our 7 boarding passes for our family. Then at the end of the jet bridge right before getting on the aircraft, two people were checking passports again. I had to unpack them from the folder in my backpack. Not a big issue, but the gate agent gave me bad information and should have known we needed boarding passes and passports for boarding."

Výhody: "Lufthan changed aircraft and totally screwed by seat assignment, very bad."

Nevýhody: "I thought lying while smiling went out of the airline business 20 years ago. Lufthansa rebooked my husband and I - telling us all would be well. That was the start of one of the worst travel days ever - running through airports; and culminating the end of an anniversary trip with my husband and I having to sit separately in center seats for 8.5 hours. Perhaps spoiled food or the lack of the pre-ordered gluten-free meals left one of us ill for the week since. Days of headaches with Lufthansa leading up to these two flights - online, on the phone and in person. We ended up on a full United flight with some of the most humorless in-flight staff ever."

Nevýhody: "It took over three hours for them to unload our baggage. Completely unacceptable. Terrible coordination and planning with the Dulles baggage handlers."

Výhody: "it was nice trip from Lufthansa. only the issue was with the space between the seats in the economy class but rest was fine"

Nevýhody: "On our return flight from Munich to IAD the airline apparently switched the plane hours before departure. We did not receive notice of this and when we went to board we received new boarding passes. I was traveling with someone and so this reassignment meant not only that we were separated by that we were moved from an Aisle and a window seat together to both of us in middle seats. I understand that this change was out of ground crew control and so we waited to speak with agents about seeing if we could be seated together. While we waited patiently and were told that the only two seats together were both middle seats, the women who were waiting behind us and who were in the same situation as us (but much nor agitated and loud about the complaint) received upgrades to economy plus and were placed in an aisle seat. We were very disappointed with how this was handled and both of us being tall were very uncomfortable on the long flight."

Výhody: "Lufthansa is a superior airline with friendly, helpful staff. It is always enjoyable to fly with them!"

Výhody: "Flight was operated by United Airlines. Easy boarding, friendly crew. Pillows, blankets, and headphones provided plus free house wine and beer as well as the usual coffee, tea, soda. Seatback video did not work for me, but I had no plans to use it as I needed to sleep on the flight. Excellent vegetarian dinner of vegetable korma, chickpeas and rice. Heated snack was not meatless, though, so as a Catholic flying on Friday had to pass."
Nevýhody: "Vegetarian option (or meatless Friday option) for snacks as well as meals would be nice. They are in the process of changing to personal device entertainment, so seatback screen issue will not be a problem in the future."

Výhody: "Staff/stewards were very upbeat and pleasant, professional and were perfect at looking after very tired customers (at least for me)."

Výhody: "Upgraded to business!"
