Výhody: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Nevýhody: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Lot of shouting and crying by other passengers happening for the same reason."

Turkish airline staff was horribly rude, wouldn't acknowledge their mistakes, very uninforming and all of it to pretty much force you to pay the airline more money in penalty fees for changing flight arrangements and new ticket purchases. And be careful THEY DON'T have any announcement on the intercom system at Attaturk (I had no clue as to that being the case there, nor have I ever been at an airport that doesn't). No boarding announcement, no gate change announcement, no nothing.....and if and when you miss a flight because you didn't know the gate changed while you're sitting at what you thought was your gate and no one bothered to let you know (including the person who checked your boarding pass when you came into that gate area, it's down hill from there! They will tell you it's your fault and not give a dam* what you say to argue otherwise....and......if you don't pay the penalty they dictate to change your flight ($1114 on a $780 ticket in my case so I purchased another ticket on Turkish air on my own for $236 to get me where I was going), they WILL cancel your return flight without telling you, at which point you will have to buy a new ticket to get back home and they end up getting the money out of you regardless. This was an absolute nightmare of a trip, couple with being treated like dirt by everyone at the airport. I will not ever again fly Turkish Air if I can help it."

I knew this information based on online reviews, but the airline itself never did anything to offer this, I had to walk around on the airport, for like 2 hours I could not find decent help and some instructions in broken English. I had to pay 25 Euros to get mi visa stamped and walk out of the airport. The Turkish Airlines attendant that set up the free hotel for us, walked us to a shuttle that would drive us to the hotel, but the shuttle driver got lost? or something happened that caused for him to drive around town for more than an hour, speaking on the phone loudly in Turkish and completely ignoring us when we asked questions, This got a little scary since we had no idea what was going on, at some point we were in the middle of a dark residential area, and listening to the driver yell on the phone (god knows what). Luckily a driver came over and guided us to the hotel, but seriously, they should be careful about who they hire for these kind of tasks. (I posted a video on instagram with footage of the guy driving us around in case my family needed to find me)."

Nevýhody: "The Soviet Union wants its airline back. This was perhaps the RUDEST airline experience I've ever experienced. I was at Frankfurt (FRA) airport waiting to board Air Moldova Flight 864 to Chisinau (KIV). Due to a delay caused by Frankfurt security (and no fault of my own), I was delayed in reaching the gate. Since it was past my boarding time, I grabbed my bags from the conveyor belt once past security without having time to repack. I arrived at the gate and the extremely rude Air Moldova gate agent on duty yelled at me and demanded that I give her my boarding pass. When I told her I needed to pack, she yelled that there was “no time for that”. When I searched for my pass, she again yelled and said “NOW!”. When I told her that it was not my fault that I arrived late since there was a delay at security, she said “Not my problem!”. After she checked my boarding pass, I tried to repack and she again yelled “There is no time. Go to the bus NOW!” I once again told her that it was not my fault I got delayed and she again yelled “NOT MY PROBLEM”. In addition to rude employees, the airline is clearly in violation of safety regulations. The safety card in the back seat pocket was written in ARMENIAN – and Armenian only, thanks to the plane having been leased and Air Moldova not appropriately changing the safety cards. How did they expect people who read Romanian or Russian (the local languages) or English to understand it! On top of that, the plane was easily 20 years old or more and dirty. If they can't even keep a plane clean or have the appropriate safety cards, what else are they not maintaining. Do not fly this terrible airline!"

Nevýhody: "The flight left 19 minutes early, stranding 7 people who were connecting from New Orleans. We ran across the entire airport and made it to the gate before departure time. The employee at Lufthansa Senator lounge was nice enough to tell us that the crew must have felt like leaving early. She was very nonchalant about the whole issue. She also refused to assist us, and told us we needed to exit the airport and reenter through the ticketing counter. I upheld my end of the deal by reaching the gate in time. This situation needs to be rectified."

When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle
Swift clean friendly on time
Nice flight but from Entebbe to Amsterdam they didn’t get me what I requested for the baby.

Výhody: "Pumpkin soup instead of a heavy entree was welcome and tasty. Breakfast yogurt portion was generous, the granola less so. Accompaniments were good. Butter was not ice cold, thank goodness."
Nevýhody: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this."

Nevýhody: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."
Výhody: "Comfortable flight to Amsterdam for vacation in UK. More meals than expected. Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

Nevýhody: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."
