If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

I was literally not about to eat the alphabet... (luckily, a nice attendant came by and apologized, as I know it was not her fault the food came out like this. 4) Rude attendant came over 25 mins after I had turned on my attendant button to ask for a bottle of water. (I turned it on while they were still serving drinks) (also forgot I needed water to take some medicine that required to drink a full glass) She came up to me and my fellow passenger, yelled at BOTH us while she was waving her hands our face. I mentioned to her "it's not polite to treat people this way" she moved her hands closer to my face thrusting her whole body over my fellow passengers face, and continued yelling at me about turbulence (while she's completely avoiding the rule herself.) He and I were both seated and buckled and not bothering anyone. She could've just taken her own lecture and kept ignoring the signal. I wrote about this in customer support letter that the 'NICE' and 'Helpful' attendant Gave to me that sincerely apologized for the previous attendants behavior."

Výhody: "Everything!! This airline is a huge breath of fresh (old?) air. It reminded me of how air travel used to be. No baggage charge - we only checked one bag. There was plenty of great food and drink - alcoholic drinks were free. We will definitely look to use SwissAir whenever possible."

Positives: The extra seat room in premium class was very nice and comfortable. The cabin staff were excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Negatives: On the downside, my wife and I sat apart. Also, when we tried to change our seats so that we could sit together, the faulty Virgin website kept taking me to meals rather than to seating. Finally, when we tried phoning, we were told that the waiting time to speak to someone was 3 hours!
First time I traveld with virgin Atlantic and service is good flight is also very good.

I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."

Also, having flown with just about every major transatlantic operator, including previous trips with Virgin, the knee room was not good. If you stretched out under the seat in front you were ok but draw your knees up... I wore short trousers for comfort and have sore points on my knees where they rubbed against the material of the chair in front."

Anyone that purchased a Delta 1st Class seat should have access to the Delta Sky Club. My wife and I purchased 1st Class tickets for a Delta flight from SeaTac to Washington Dulles but were denied entrance to the SeaTac Delta Sky Club because we did have an American Express card.

Once you finally get your sticker from them it’s a quick trip through customs. Then the pain really begins with a security scan st each individual gate to enter a boarding area for the plane. Then I was pulled for extra security where a male agent touched my but with some sort of swab with no warning. He then claimed to not speak English (with zero accent when I asked him a question). It was a humiliating and very long process all run by delta!"

Nevýhody: "the last leg, Istanbul to DC was completely full. i was seating at the back (33K). after the meal, i wanted to recline and the man behind me started yelling as he has water on his table. i apologized and asked if i can recline the seat and he yelled again and said i cannot recline my seat. i talked to the flight attendant and she wanted to move me to a middle seat. i declined and eventually the man said i can recline my seat. but i mean, seriously, i got yelled at for trying to recline my seat and got no apologies from anyone."

Nevýhody: "You need to buy a visa if you want to enter the country and they only accept USD, Euros or GBP. The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Flight crew were friendly enough, but I raved about last years Turkish Airlines flight, but this year it was just so-so and I'm not exactly sure why."

Nevýhody: "I was about to loose my walker which I was supposed to receive when I get from the aircraft in Istanbul but the lady at the transfer desk helped me find it. After I bought the ticket it was offered 24 hours later at very much Lowe price ( 25%less than what I paid for). I contacted the Turkish airlines but they never give me any credit or compensation."
Nevýhody: "I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"
Výhody: "The entire inflight experience was great from start to finish."
Nevýhody: "I approached the Transfer Desk when there was no line and asked the person working if it was possible to switch to an exit row seat because of my height. The man helping me lied to my face and told me that he could not make the change because the flight was full. when I got on the plane, there were over two dozen empty seats. It was very clear that he just did not want to invest the few seconds it would take to address my concern, or give me a credible reason why he could not make the change."
Výhody: "Friendly Cabin crew Entertainment was above average."
Nevýhody: "First of all I have tons of complaints regarding the airport at Istanbul. They have a poorly managed airport and it was so crowded. The cafeteria and places to eat around in the airport were horrendously expensive and they didn't have services like wifi(had to buy it for $8 an hour and it sucked) and drinking water. As per Turkish airlines, the staff in the airport were poorly equipped to deal with emergency situations such as snow. I was flying during the snowstorm and wasn't expecting my journey to be easy. But they should have increased their resources to help people out in such cases.Their help desk was crowded with almost 500+ of people all the time and they only had 2 people to answer their queries. Also, the staff couldn't understand English properly and seemed irritated when I was trying to explain things in English. I had to stand an hour on a line to get my temporary visa issued only to be referred to another line (yes! i waited for an hour to get to the desk and was told to go and sit in another effing line). It was also because most of the signs/boards in the area were written in Turkish only and I didn't know what they were saying. I had to pay for my own hotel during my transit because the line for the hotels was almost two miles long. And when I arrived at my destination, both my luggage went missing. The crew on board were nice and helping people. I do not blame my bad travel experience entirely on Turkish airlines however, the airport and airlines both are not prepared to deal with situations that are unexpected. I also realize the snow storm was the main factor behind everything however any airlines that boasts itself to be a top class international airlines should have means and resources to manage(at least try) their passengers and airport during any situation. No matter what I am never flying with Turkish airlines again."
Výhody: "They were out of the chicken in meal even before they got to a quarter of people. They did neither had an option of vegetarian diet. So basically you cannot eat anything but the sandwiches if you don't eat beef."
Výhody: "The flight attendants were lovely, they worked smoothly and did their best to manage an unpleasant situation. The facilities are also excellent, and as always, the fresh flowers and hand lotion and such in the toilets was a nice touch."
Nevýhody: "The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care."
Nevýhody: "Turkish airlines do not care at all about passengers from other countries (other that western Europe and USA) - my flight was cancelled but the airline reps did not bother to tell 150 plus passengers until the end... passengers got angry and one rep took us to the hotel desk, confusing with boarding passes and passport control on the way - forcing us to waster 3-4 hours; we were provided hotel accomodation at midnight (flight was supposed to take off at 9 pm - maybe they were avoiding to spend on out meals???"
Výhody: "Even in economy, TK serves two full meals, with beer/wine as beverage options. They also give an overnight bag with slippers and other helpful goodies"
Nevýhody: "The level of service by the cabin crew was really disappointing. One of the flight attendants asked me to switch seats with the woman seated next to me (although I had pre-selected my seat). I obliged, although I think that the cabin crew and/or gate agents should have given more thought to giving her a better seat assignment, like a bulkhead seat. This woman was uncommonly large with mobility problems, so it was difficult for me to get up when I wanted to. The entertainment system malfunctioned about an hour into the flight, and I had to flag down a cabin crew member on 3 separate occasions to ask them to look into it. No one ever bothered to follow up or attempt to resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the entertainment system is connected to the entire electrical system, so I couldn't use the "call cabin crew" button, or the overhead light - meaning I was stuck in the dark for HOURS. Only after I demanded to be given another seat did anyone do anything, and with zero apologies."

Nevýhody: "Boarding was late and was very confusing. No special area for business class. This was not true when we were going to Cairo from Istanbul. The lounge there is fabulous but because our flight was late we didn't have time to go to the lounge on return flight."

But boarding was an absolute mess: the "secure" gate area was tiny and way too small to accommodate all the people on the flight, and the temperature in that area of the terminal was blistering hot. Combined with an organization that was messy, let's just say that all of us were REAL happy when we finally boarded the plane."

Nevýhody: "Flight attendant missed couple lines of food and after letting them know instead of bringing the cart back they were tossing the entire plate on top of the head of the other passengers. One of them fell of right on one of the passengers. The second thing that irritates me is that one of the flight attendant approached me and was asking if I want chicken beef or pasta and I said chicken and she was like that is not an option in a very rude tone as of I am dumb or deaf of some sort. The other passengers also confirmed that they heard she did say that chicken was an option She could’ve nicely said it or apologized for telling an option that doesn’t exist. Instead she was giving an really bad attitude about it. Very irritated"

Nevýhody: "Checking in on-line was not very "user friendly". Our aircraft had to be replaced causing a 2 hour delay, part of which was an ATC sequencing delay. The 50 minute ATC delay couldn't be controlled by LH, but the original equipment replacement was at the bottom of the overall delay. My "A" window seat in economy had significantly reduce foot space due to a metal box installed in the space. The seat was not particularly well designed, but it's economy so you get what you get. The food was average at best."
Nevýhody: "I hated that the plane did not wait for me as I have been on plenty of airlines that have waited 5-10 mins to allow for these sort of things to be rectified. thankfully, Lufthansa and United booked me on a plane that left 5 hours later. they even bought me a 10 euro lunch. :), a pass to the , Luftanhsa lounge would have also been a good showing. I asked about this , but was gently denied. the help desk was gracious, which I appreciated. I had an entire row to myself on the United flight to DC, which softened the blow as well but the flight to Munich from IAD was great (2-28-18)"

Even if there were fewer options for cost reasons, I would think they'd still have more watcher enjoyment. Rather than pad the list with the likes of Boss Baby or Going out in Style or even a mediocre 60% offering in the Fast and Furious franchise. Wonderful crew, though, can't say enough about how polite and attentive they are."

Nevýhody: "The seating on this aircraft is inadequate for a long flights. Tall people really suffer due to seat size and spacing. There was a 6"6" man of median weight for his height who was in the middle seat next to me and he could barely fit into his seat. It was not his fault, rather the unrealistic expectation that airline seats actually fit today's customer. Not only is there not enough leg room, but the width of the seat leaves no room for arms or shoulders. No one should have to ride 7-plus hours touching the shoulders of the passenger next to them! I used to prefer to fly on Lufthansa because their seating was more comfortable than other carriers, but I will try another airline next time."

Nevýhody: "Delays in Nice led to a narrow window for connection. More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative."

Nevýhody: "My seat was 32C , me being disabled (wheelchair). My wife seat was 32 A and was DEFECTIVE. It could not be lowered towards the back, actually it has only the fixed position (all the way up). The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class."

Výhody: "I called Lufthansa customer service on 8/10/16 the day before our flight because I wasn't feeling well and was concerned that I might feel worse the next day and have to cancel our flight. The lovely Customer Service rep was so sweet and concerned about my health, answered all my questions about what to do if I needed to cancel, and told me to call back anytime for more help. Also the flight attendants remembered my food allergies and were very attentive on the flights."

Nevýhody: "I only had 45 minutes between my Washington DC flight and my flight to Frankfurt and the flight to DC was delayed by a few minutes. Because the carry-on baggage had to be checked it took extra time to get my bag after the plane landed and my connecting gate was in terminal C (I arrived at terminal A), so I barely had enough time to get there, even when walking at full speed and not stopping once along the way. This was too short of a time between the two flights."

Also they said there would be someone outside the gate when we landed to help us figure out another flight if we were missing our connection and there was no one there. Had to go find a customer service desk. They did put us up in a hotel for the night but after 3 weeks abroad we were really looking forward to getting home. Also the landing was very rocky. I felt sea sick and a lady behind me was actually throwing up it was so rough."
Výhody: "Flight was operated by United Airlines. Easy boarding, friendly crew. Pillows, blankets, and headphones provided plus free house wine and beer as well as the usual coffee, tea, soda. Seatback video did not work for me, but I had no plans to use it as I needed to sleep on the flight. Excellent vegetarian dinner of vegetable korma, chickpeas and rice. Heated snack was not meatless, though, so as a Catholic flying on Friday had to pass."
Nevýhody: "Vegetarian option (or meatless Friday option) for snacks as well as meals would be nice. They are in the process of changing to personal device entertainment, so seatback screen issue will not be a problem in the future."
Nevýhody: "Entertainment seems like you have to pay for even basics. If you need to charge for movies domestically, fine, but even basic news or so timed out. Seats are tight (legroom). I am 6'2" and knees were against seat in front of me."
Nevýhody: "About five pieces of souvenir pottery were lost because somebody who checked the luggage forgot to wrap them back the way they were. It was a sloppy work maybe by customs or security but i hold you responsible since i had booked my flight with Lufthansa sincerely Ioannis Stratakis"
Nevýhody: "I wanted to check 2 bags, even though you only get one free checked bag for economy international. The desk agent at check-in wouldn't check my second bag and didn't know how much the fee even was for the second bag. She was not exactly pleasant, which might have been because it was 430 in the morning but still. I just ended up carrying on two pretty big bags. The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

Nevýhody: "Lufthansa HAS to improve its boarding process. There is no reason for people at the front of the plan and back of the plane to board at the same time, it makes everyone stand up in a silly line for 30 minute, when everyone could do their own standing only when needed. Also the enforcement of the baggage policies was so uneven that I almost thought Lufthansa might actually be discriminating against Americans. Checking in, we were told thst I couldn't have a small roller bag in addition to my small backpack and that I would need to PAY for checking the small roller bag. I pushed back with the agent and ultimately he decided to check the roller bag, to then see the number of people with small roller. Bags and purses made me really mad!!! Also agree with the reviewer who said thst Lufthansa should give. More time to select seats than the last 24 hours,"
