Since manufacturers adhere to airline baggage standards, no violations were found during checks. This misguided effort only resulted in publicly humiliating Swissair customers. Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

The queues for customs were incredibly long and the only reason I made my flight was because I ran through the airport. I also had a challenging time with food. I am celiac and often cannot eat the standard fare on planes. I called in advance of my flight to notify someone of my allergy - and they told me the only way I could ensure such a meal was by purchasing a meal that cost $30. I was not willing to pay such a hefty surcharge for food because I had already payed a bit extra than budgeted because my partner had recommended the excellent service of Swiss. I have traveled on several airlines for intercontinental flights between Boston and Europe - and have always had my allergy accommodated at no extra cost. Once on the flight - I was offered an orange and banana for dinner and a small yoghurt for breakfast. I will be flying Swiss again in December and I sincerely hope they will be better equipped to provide for my dietary requirements."

The reason I gave a poor ranking is that my suitcase/pack must have been left out in the downpour on the top of the pile so all of my clothes were extremely wet when I reached Boston. The bag itself was wet so it was not a case of something leaking in the bag. I have had to wash all of the clothes and iron them."

Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

The crew ended up gate checking one for me in Frankfurt which was nice. But I would have paid not to carry that dumb thing around with me through the giant Frankfurt airport. Other than the one desk woman in Prague, everything else was good."

Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

Nevýhody: "I have the 'Economy Class' on the tickets. At check-in at the airport we wrote "economy light" on the boarding pass and want to pay for the first baggage. I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."
Výhody: "So I had to fly to Munich, and rather than flying direct on terrible United, I took a connecting flight via Vienna. Flight was full yet still departed on time and even arrived early. The seat was comfortable and flight went very smoothly. Food served on board was perfectly edible. Disembarking also went without problems. The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism."
Nevýhody: "Nothing. I will make a point of trying to fly via Vienna in the future. Airport is very pleasant and well run."
Nevýhody: "Initial flight was late taking off for no reason except they scheduled too many incoming flights. Made my second flight but my bag did not and had to wait over a day for it while missing a day of work."

Nevýhody: "No entertainment - probably due to short flight time. On my flight from la to vienna the entertainment was remarkable."
Nevýhody: "5 hour delay. One staff member said there would be a delay, the second said there was no delay and after a couple hours the delay was confirmed. I was told the flight was full without the attendant even checking, flight was actually not even close to full. Nobody wanted to help and do their job, they just want to send you on your way."

Nevýhody: "As usual, boarding in Miami airport is awful which is not exactly coming from austrian airlines, but they also took part in the unpleasant experience. The announcements were badly articulated, the boarding time was delayed and so on. Onboard, part of the crew completely refused to speak english."

Nevýhody: "The offered an upgrade to bid on. I did and was rewarded one for the 4 of us. It turned out that the seats were exactly like every other seat on the plane in size. They did provide free drinks and a well used towel. When you ask to be paid for an upgrade you should be clear what that really is."

Nevýhody: "The early morning fight was delayed, and I appreciated that TAP notified me ahead of time. However, TAP did not communicate that despite the 2 hour delay, we were required to be at the airport checkin as if the flight was never delayed - and agent dismissed us as late. Only begging got us on flight."

Nevýhody: "The seats were very uncomfortable and the light snack provided terrible. No entertainment at all. The A319 is a horrible airplane: rather uncomfortable!"

I don’t like the feeling of having to always pay. If you want people to not carry on so much stop charging (especially on international flights) to check bags."

Had an hour an a half layover but by the time you get on line to go thru customs n security again we were definitely cutting it close but that's TSA not the airline but the airline could have maybe added another maybe 20-25 mins to the layover. We felt like world travellers running for our connecting flight tho and we loved it! Lol!"
Nevýhody: "Book wheelchair assistance for flight, all went well. At destination Lisbon, no wheelchair no assistance very poor service."
Nevýhody: "my luggage was opened somewhere along the way. My gift for my child was stolen. Ugly ! Very ugly !! I got home, I unzipped my bag and I do not have a pair of sneakers that were a gift for my baby and some other sweets, my luggage was half empty! The face of my disappointed kid broke my soul, that should not have happened."

Nevýhody: "poor quality video and sound for watching movies on long flight attendants were brusque and ignored most passengers(except the ones with special meals) we were on connecting flight with little time in between to grab water or snack - so we sat on this flight for over two hours before we got any refreshments. Some passengers got refills before we got one. Poor execution. we had to check two bags on connecting flight (which we didn't have to do before) and it cost us time and money. Also they lost the two bags - got several days after we got back from trip huge line at immigration - we waited almost two hours will not travel on TAP again"

We had a close connection at LHR and being last off, we almost missed connection. Horrible"

Nevýhody: "They cancelled the flight, losted the baggage and couldn't help to resolve the problem. They also lied about the flight they wanted to replace to solve the problem which even didn't exist in their company. So, I will never ever take the flight from this compound again."
Nevýhody: "The sizing device is much smaller than it needs to be for carry on roller bags. My bag was forced to be checked by the ground crew on this Tap flight. My bag is a normal sized carry on bag that has always fit on all flights. There was plenty of space on the aircraft for it. The ground crew also let others on with larger bags so they dont even apply their policy in a consistent manner. I will do my best to avoid TAP from now on."

Meals were provided as was entertainment (there were individual tv screens for us to watch movies on) all for no additional cost to us. From the customer service to the services provided and the legroom on the flight -- everything was more than what we expected and we would consider flying TAP Portugal again."
