Nevýhody: "This was the worst airline I have flown with. I booked my tickets last minute, it was for me and my 4 month old son. I had 3 suitcases a stroller and 2 carryons. I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

Nevýhody: "the last leg, Istanbul to DC was completely full. i was seating at the back (33K). after the meal, i wanted to recline and the man behind me started yelling as he has water on his table. i apologized and asked if i can recline the seat and he yelled again and said i cannot recline my seat. i talked to the flight attendant and she wanted to move me to a middle seat. i declined and eventually the man said i can recline my seat. but i mean, seriously, i got yelled at for trying to recline my seat and got no apologies from anyone."

Nevýhody: "Every staff person we had contact with made us feel as though we were not a priority in any way. We were constantly given misinformation. Our flight was two hours out when it was returned to our departure city due to a passenger health issue. It was not properly explained to us and we were in no way compensated for the inconvenience. Once back at our departure city (Miami) we sat there for an hour or more. They chose to feed us during that delay. Due to this we missed our connecting flight in Istanbul to Rome. This also caused us to miss our transportation from Rome to Compania, Italy. We were told by airline staff on the plane that we would be put up in a hotel over night. When we arrived at the terminal we had no idea where we should go or who we should see. Every representative we spoke to told us to go somewhere else. Truth is it felt like no one we spoke to knew what to tell us or really cared at all. One representative told us we were not entitled to overnight accommodations. We insisted we were told we were and it literally took hours on the ground to straighten the problem out and get to a hotel. By then it was so late that we only got a couple hours of sleep and had to be back at the airport for our next flight. The second flight from Istanbul to Naples, Italy was better. I do not think I would use this airline again. My entire party got an overall sense that people were untrained and lacking in any form of customer service. Not the flight attendants but all the people we had to deal with on the ground. My age plus health issues and walking problems made everything more difficult. We were sent al over the massive airlines terminal with all our carry on luggage only to find when we got to where we were going we had been sent to the wrong place. On top of all this each of us had to pay a VISA fee to get out of the terminal and to the hotel. Just a total nightmare. Prior to taking this flight I contacted Turkish Airlines and spoke to a customer service person and explained that I needed to take with me a small portable oxygen concentrator that I would need to use while in Italy. I needed to know the procedure for bringing that equipment on the airline. I was told that although he could not answer that question He would pass it on to his supervisors and I would receive an answer via email prior to my flight. I never received a response and as a result did not have my needed oxygen while abroad."
Výhody: "Love flying Turkish, usually they’re very welcoming on the plane and flight attendants are friendly. Seats convert into a lay flat bed which is comfortable. i would say that the appetizers are usually excellent but the main dishes fall a bit behind. Amenity kit is pretty good."
Nevýhody: "Boarding is a problem and I expect it’s a problem everyday. One has to go through many additional checks to board a NY bound flight which is understood but the gates can’t sccomod a full 777 flight. It gets hot really fast, definitely what you don’t need before a long flight. Group boarding is enforced but people will still try to wiggle into the priority boarding line. On another note I have had a similar flight on the A330 and the boarding process was smooth (organized)."

Nevýhody: "i took four flights - LHR - IST and ISt - Riyadh. every flight was a minimum of one hour late! there is no semblance of order in the boarding process, it is the largest and most effective bully who gets on first. even children and frazzled parents we not accommodated to help settle the children, which would improve the flight for everyone"

On top of not making rounds, there was no call button to summon a stewardess. Twice, my husband who was ill had a "coughing attack" and needed a glass of water... there was nobody was available. A passenger had to go and get them from the back. Perhaps due to this being a 13 hour flight, this is not a normal situation for them, but to go three hours at a time without taking a stroll through the cabin seems unprofessional. Otherwise this airline really does amazing service! I did not realize that such airline service still existed. American ones should pay attention!"

Boarding was easy and the crew was very nice and helpful throughout the flight. I was glad that they served a small meal - food was good...we're not talking about a restaurant meal. Seats were good and just wish there was some in-flight entertainment."

Nevýhody: "I arrived just before the hour an hour before departure for a 6am flight, which is in line with their 60 minute policy to find the counter closed. I spent another 25 minutes running around the airport trying to find someone to assist including a ticket agent to adjust my flight. Only to be told I couldn't get a flight out until the next day and I had to pay more for my original ticket for it. I contacted customer service and their response was a simple copy and paste of the rules which I was well aware of (apparently I should have really been there 90 mins before and not 60 according to the site). I only booked with the airline because it offered an 8 hour layover in Athens...a chance to see a bonus city. There are plenty of other airlines with more flexible and consistent policies. I have traveled the world on many airlines and have never had an early check in counter close or to have to chase down a representative to get service."

An awful experience, especially for her!"

We were bussed from the terminal to the plane on the tarmac and were held on the bus for several minutes while maintenance workers sorted things out with the crew. The entire plane from front to back had a terrible smell, as if the sewage pipe had burst and liquid/waste flowed everywhere. The smell may or may not have anything to do with the maintenance crew on board and delayed our boarding. No explanation of the smell. Good thing it was a short flight from Athens to Naples"

Nevýhody: "My Luggage did not arrive. Since I have been in a motorcycle tour, I had expensive and valuable accessories and I also bought new things. For almost 48 hours, I have been very worried that I will need to go through an expensive law suite. The whole issue was cause because of overbooking. I was asked to be on a waiting list with my luggage. When I was boarding I specifically asked the local crew whether my luggage is on board as well and I was answered definitely "YES"."

On board the plane, the breakfast was really excellent (plane food-wise) and the attendants were very friendly. In terms of comfort, I was lucky to sit in row 3 (yes, that was Economy class), so I actually had some leg room. On my way to Athens, I'd been seated in row 22 and there was no chance to move my legs at all."

Lose .5 hr+ to go to gate and you get 1hr only when you pay for 3 hrs! Where is the sense in that? Its miss-selling at its worst as everyone is complicit. Flight left 20min late for no apparent reason Seats are a bit stone age and hard although only a short flight my ar*e went to sleep before I could"

I spent 30 minutes on hold before the problem was rectified and I was given my online check in details but it was now top late to check in online (by 5 minutes ). The flight was delayed due to a number of things - a late arrival, people being let onto the plane slowly, people not sitting down and allowing the plane to taxi and leave. This had a knock on effect of making the plane land late and for me to miss my connection (train) so basically through last minute.com not providing me with the correct details regarding the flight and the flight then being delayed it tripled my whole journey back home."

Nevýhody: "The crew was incredibly rude. One flight attendant yelled at me to take my seat even after i told him the seat was wet. He insisted the plane didn't come from anywhere so it could not be wet. I showed him how it was so wet that it soaked my pants and told him it smelled like beer. He seemed annoyed i was bothering him and said he would replace the seat cushion. It took ten minutes before he replaced the cushion. When he did he threw it over the seatbelt preventing me from bucking up. I told him the arm rest and side of the plane were sticky from whatever had spilled. He ignored me and walked away. Another attendant came by and told me to buckle up before landing. I explained the situation that I did not have access to the belt to her for the second time and she rudely told me to move my seat. When I requested a new seat before the flight the first attendant told me no that was the seat I had paid for. Ignoring the fact that I had also paid for a dry seat. Now when the flight is landing my safety suddenly became a priority. Its safer to say I will not be recommending this airline."

I liked that we could pre order and pay for meals. Crew was super efficient and got everything exactly right and of course we didn’t even have to ask it was all super seamless I wish other airlines would do this.

Výhody: "The flight from Istanbul to Prague was fairly basic but everything worked well and was comfortable. The flight was on time. The bags were delivered quickly. There were no problems on the flight as it was relatively quiet. Overall, no complaints."

Nevýhody: "The plane wasn't cleaned and empty bottle, used tissues and remainders of the meal served on previous flight were on our seats. People were not helped to stow carry ons and many should have been requested to check large carryon bags. They were out of beer even though beverages had just been loaded. Attendants could not clearly communicate the price of a beverage."
Výhody: "Absolutely nothing"
Nevýhody: "Bad customer support, unwillingness to correct an error in the first name appearing on one of the tickets. This forced us to cancel all 5 tickets and purchase tickets for a different airline at 4 times the cost."
Nevýhody: "Problem communicating with counter crew who spoke none to little of English and probably because of me complainig about that they might have decided not to send one of my baggages. I finally retrieved it in different airport in three days."

Nevýhody: "This experience was absolutely horrible for my wife and myself both. We understood that being among the more "budget friendly" airlines, we would have to sacrifice some comfort. But this airline is beyond atrocious to say the least. There is no terminal exit, but rather we had to walk down steps from the plane, walk in the rain to a stand-up bus, and ride it to the airport. How on earth are you supposed to make close connecting flights with those conditions? We barely made it only because they let us skip the line for security. Save yourself the misery; dig deeper in your pocket for a better airline."

Nevýhody: "Late departure and late arrival. Huge queues at Gatwick immigration. Too hot throughout the flight - the crew didn't bother adjusting the temperature it was left to the assemblers to complain No in flight entertainment whatsoever Had to pay for a coffee."

Výhody: "Seating is comfortable enough with sufficient leg space."
Nevýhody: "As there is no entertainment nor food served on board the grade has to be the minimum score. Precisely that there is no entertainment system."
Nevýhody: "I was stopped at both airports for not having my ticket in the system although I checked-in in advance and paid extra for seating; it was very stressful and uncomfortable"

Nevýhody: "the air conditioner didnt work in the plane and they took very high rate for extra bag of 180 Euro!"
Výhody: "They got me to my destination... eventually"
Nevýhody: "Oh, boy. First, this flight was super late and they wouldn't admit it. I went to the gate at boarding time, and the staff rudely pushed me away, saying I misunderstood the gate number. I double checked, and no, that was indeed the right gate. This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."
Výhody: "I was lucky enough to have the seat next to me free, so I was comfortable during the flight itself"
Nevýhody: "The ground service was really bad and even insulting. I was a little overweight and the girl at the counter was very rude, and eventually made me through away snacks I was keeping for the flight. Also, the weight limit is ridiculous if you're travelling for more than a weekend (I went on a 3 weeks trip with camping). On the flight itself there's nothing provided, even when I asked for water they charged me for it (no option for just a glass of water)."
Výhody: "It was a smooth ontime flight, helpful customer service."
Nevýhody: "Air traffic control delays at Istanbal SAW on departure was about 40 mins. Airline blamed it on ATC rather than themselves but weatehr was good, no obvious reason for delays except heavy traffic which surely must occur every day. Airlines should build ATC delays into schedule. Sabiha Gokcen airport shops are masively overpriced which means I will avoid transiting through there."
