There was a two hour delay because of incompetence in scheduling fuel truck. Further, upon arrival in Roanoke, hand baggage was sent to baggage claim. We carry hand baggage because it contains valuable or sensitive materials that we do not want going through the baggage system. This is very poor and United needs to perform better.
Nevýhody: "I requested Asian vegetarian meal and I got regular vegetables and some products used by people with Celiac problems, even the wrapping of the "fake" bread says that it was for people with celiac problems. I tried three monitors and none worked properly. Any way with the poor selections of movies I did not miss it. I only missed it because I like to watch the flying statistics."

Nevýhody: "Brussels airport staff at pass control needed to acknowledge departure concerns to prevent plane delay of takeoff. Many passengers missed their connection in Chicago because of our delay boarding due to pass control wait and lack of help."
Nevýhody: "The flight and its crew did well but I will NEVER use it again if it has to transit in Brussels. We were bussed to the T terminal ( ‘incidentally’ where were all the AFRICAN flights transit) were we had a 5 hour layover, which is fine with me, but the terminal has no restaurant or any decent stores."

Nevýhody: "I am handicap, I travel with a scooter. We let them know months in advance and still they did not plan or assist. My scooter was not brought up in Brussels or DC, I refused to leave the plane in DC until they finally brought it to plane. They sat me in row 38...I can only walk a few feet so the airline failed in every aspect...epuc fail. I will never fly Brussels airlines again."

Nevýhody: "1. There is a security check just prior to boarding at the gate in Brussels that is not known about in advance. The process is not organized, nor did I (along with other passengers) understand why another checkpoint was being unexpectedly required.. 2. The food onboard (main meal - beef and snack - calzone) were not good; although they were served hot, they were bland and unappetizing. Contrary to popular belief, not all airplane food is "bad". 3. And finally, the restrooms were not kept clean during the flight - I had never seen that on any of the nternational airlines I've taken over several years."

Nevýhody: "I travelled economy. Somehow it felt quite crammed. I felt that there were too many announcements, in all 3 languages, it got frustrating, as it stops all onboard entertainment. Duty Free selection rather frugal."

Nevýhody: "I came in 45 minutes before the departure time, but they said i was late. And i asked what can the solution, they said the solution is to cancel my ticket and buy a new one. And they cancelled my ticket, then I did not get any other choice than buy a new ticket at more than $700 just from Abidjan to New York. But some other airline companies, when you miss your flight they find a next one for you and you just pay the fee, but not to cancel your ticket. This last case can happen only if the traveller does not show up and doesn't call."

Nevýhody: "Inbound connection from Tokyo was late (1 hour) but this flight BRU-MAN was also 1 hour late, so got to the gate easily in time for boarding only to find my seat and boarding pass had been cancelled! Poor management of the situation - they don't check whether the connection is *actually* OK, just use the timetable. Poor real-time handling of the situation. This flight is sometimes subcontracted out to WDL who fly various other flights for SN throughout the day, and so any delay elsewhere in Europe can delay this flight. Baggage priority ignored for Star Gold. Missed train connection on arrival in UK. Due to the above problems. In-flight staff OK but ground crew seem disorganised."
Výhody: "I liked the multi-lingual flight attendants. Friendly and seemed to help everyone get what they need. Pilot performed a smooth landing and the flight was quite smooth."
Nevýhody: "Aircraft need to stay grounded for 2 hours for repairs... After we already boarded! It was very hot, everyone was sweating profusely and facing themselves with magazines. The flight should have just been delayed and everyone should have waited in the comfort of the airport terminal to board later rather than suffering. The headrests are horrible. They jut out and but stress on you upper back, and force you to slouch, which hurts your lower back. I am a pretty resilient young dude, but even I was packing my sweatshirt, pillow, and blanket behind my back to make the seat mildly comfortable. A car style seat would have been much much more comfortable. Worst of all, I had a 12 hour layover, and during that time MY BAG DIDN'T EVEN GET PUT ON THE PLANE! I am on a budget so I couldn't buy toiletries and clothes to wear so I stank for days before my bags were located, brought from Toronto to Brussels, and then delivered to where I'm staying in Belgium. This is easily the worst flying experience I have ever had in my life."

Nevýhody: "Every time, I board my United flights at Heathrow, London airport, the staff makes the customers very stressed out. First, customers can not see the signs for the different groups (1,2,3,etc.) and the staff makes you feel like that you should know the process (when we don't)! A couple of suggestions, 1) the staff needs customer training, and 2) have some staff outside boarding area to help direct people to different groups NICELY!"

Výhody: "At the gate there was a wonderful United Airlines employee (the flight was operated by United Airlines) who made an extra effort to organize me and my husband seats next to each other. The flight was full and we didn't have seat bookings before boarding."
Nevýhody: "I didn't like the food which is usually expected on airplanes. Still, there is one quite simple thing that is possible to arrange to improve the quality - fresh bread instead of dry and hard one. Comfort - the airplane had 3-seats rows on sides. I prefer 2-seats rows. I haven't noticed that bigger planes mean automatically cheaper flight tickets. Therefore I definitely choose less crowded plane with more comfort. Entertainment - the TV was touch screen. Modern idea but poor realization. The TV user interface was very hard to manipulate because the extra mouse that had to be brought on right button hardly moved."
Výhody: "The staff was polite, responsive and proactive. The service was great and the food was above average. The movie and entertainment was good and offered many choices. I would recommend this airline for overseas travel."
