When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Nevýhody: "This was an Air Canada flight. Time in line to check baggage in Frankfurt was 2+ hours, baggage was lost but arrived the next day at our destination. Unable to check-in online ahead of time for unknown reasons. Overall the Air Canada ground experience was pretty bad, but the crew/meals/entertainment was good."
Nevýhody: "The legroom was awful, especially for a nine-hour flight. The video screen kept rebooting."

Nevýhody: "There was no update on the status of our connecting flight. The pilot gave an update of other flights except for ours but it caused a bit of confusion. Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

The service was average considering i had to keep asking the staff to atore my son's insuline medication in a cool place, they said they cannot at 1st but eventually they did. The entertainment system had to be rebooted 3 times during the flight which takes 15 to 20 minutes. So it took 3 hrs to finish the movie. The connection flight was a bit redicilous, 1 hr to walk to the other terminal in frankfurt, the 1 hr flight delay , the boarding was like a zoo, no initiative to take control and organize the boarding, the elderly and the children and crammed withe other passengers.."

Výhody: "The first leg of our flight came in late, but the staff at the airport already had someone waiting for us by the gate to escort us to the connecting flight. And the staff was extremely organized and transported our luggage so that it made it to the final destination with us. All this happened in under 30 minutes. Great service"

He didn't offer brandy to anyone on our aisle after dinner, even though I heard the attendants on other aisles offering it."

Výhody: "First Time on Lufthansa and came away extremely impressed. I'm a million miler on Delta so I know a little about flying a mainline carrier. Lufthansa blew me away with the level of service and friendliness. It was a short (90 minute) flight but they still offered a free breakfast sandwich along with the beverages. Flight Attendants can switch from German to English without hesitation and were very professional. Look forward to flying with them again."

Nevýhody: "A few days before our travel I attempted to upgrade my booking via your website. It would not let me. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you charge $50 per just to reserve an economy seat, so I attempted to do so at the Venice airport. I was told I had to do so I in Munich but when we got there I was told there were no upgrades or "forward" seats available. On the plane I again requested an upgrade or to at least to move forward, I was told there was nothing available. My husband and I are a "mature" couple and had been traveling since early morning Venice time. We were seated at the very back of the Airbus.... Our rear location caused us to miss the Coach USA bus to take us the additional 75 miles closer to home so we had to wait an additional hour and a half for the next bus!"

Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

The flight attendants were so happy and upbeat, it lifted your mood as well! I believe that we left a few minutes early, as boarding was completed early. And thefood? Mind-blowing for airplane food. When we got to our hotel, we had to pay $20 for the transfer to hotel even though he left. Now we have no toothbrush or any change of clothes & hopefully we will get our luggage tomorrow after 2pm"
Výhody: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Nevýhody: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

The City Airport Transport (CAT) train from the Vienna airport to city center was fantastic. We were able to check our luggage and get boarding passes where we boarded the CAT at the metro station and did not have to wait in line at the airport...wonderful system!"
Nevýhody: "At the gate there was a line formed for a second passport check but it was not clear to passengers that they needed to go through this line. A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce."

Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."

I don’t know how it’s possible but the airline has squeezed extra seats onto the plane which are not even an arm’s-length distance from the toilets. So on a redeye international flight that anyone would want some sleep on , we were placed in seats that didn’t recline and smelled like the bathrooms the whole time with them opening and closing every 10 seconds while the whole plane was using them. absolutely horrible flight!!!

My flight took off without me even though I was only three minutes late and had been assured the flight would be held. At least 12 other people were in the same boat. My rescheduled flight had me do yet another layover and I arrived in Warsaw a full 6 hours late. All because SAS was incompetent to hold their flight for a few minutes."

However, upon arrival, we were stuck on the runway for 3 hours!!!! Our flight landed at 1, we did not exit plane until 3:40. They were not curtious enough to give us accurate time frames on when we would be allowed off. They told us 40 minutes initially, obviously was a lie. We did not receive updates whatsoever. We had to stay seated the entire time with seat belts even though we were not moving!! I got up to use the restroom and was instructed to sit back down even though attendants were aware that we were not moving and were not getting off any time soon. A 2 hour flight turned into 5 hours on the plane instead so of course many passengers needed to use the restroom. Flight attendants offered no avail with extra attention, drinks, snacks or even by allowing fussy babies to be strolled down the aisle as the aircraft was completely still until the last 3-5 minutes when we FINALLY pulled to a terminal. We had to have a terminal when southwest would have gladly brought stairs to our flight so we could at least wait inside a less compact space, such as the airport, for luggage. I know of many people on our flight who missed connecting flights, which I'm sure AA did nothing to accommodate. By the end of it all, my family member who originally was going to pick us up from airport went home as he waited over 3 hours for me to get off the plane. I had to pay a taxi cab to bring me home and did not make it home until 6am when it was all said and done. To add insult to injury, the flight attendants did not even thank us for our patience or have the decency to address said issue. Never flying AA again."

The crew members were wonderfully responsive to requests such as a Kosher meal when we forgot to order it in advance. While it was not available on the PHX to London flight, the steward found one for me on the London to Tel Aviv leg of my journey. In any event, the stewardess on that first flight took the time to explain to me why there were no extra Kosher meals. Both parts of my travel were very comfortable. Sylvia D.

The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again."

I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."
Nevýhody: "1. Plane engine set fire while taking off... leaking fuel. 2. My bag fee was waived, but the next day after being grounded and put in a cheap hotel for the night, I was RECHARGED $100. 3. They knew my flight left at 9pm, still gave me ONLY 1 hotel voucher so I was kicked out of the hotel at 12pm with NOWHERE to go for NINE HOURS with 125lbs of luggage. 4. They provided a good voucher, but the cheap hotel they put me in didn't have a kitchen, USELESS. 5. The flight was LATE getting to London the next day and I missed my BRITISH Airway connecting flight to Thailand. Had to wait another 7 HOURS to get a flight out. 6. Terrible service, over priced and rude agents. The agent told me " I don't know who waived your fee yesterday, but I'm not." Cold, considering the plane I was on the day before was shooting fire about to explode. 7. I was rebooked no choice of seating or consideration."

About missing the connecting flight: it could have been avoidable with just a minimal amont of effort, or willingness, or any sign of care towards the passengers. Customer service is waaaaay behind my expectations."
