Nevýhody: "Vegetarian food. 30% of people are vegetarian"

Výhody: "After we missed our flight, we were provided with terrible customer service."
Nevýhody: "We were told to go to the wrong gate. After we missed our flight, we were charged 880 USD to book for the identical flight the following day. We were taken around in circles inside the airport. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend."

Výhody: "Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights"
Nevýhody: "It's an airplane, there's not much to make it better besides giving more seat room. TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!"

At the Istanbul layover they forced me to pay $160 or else my items wouldn't make it on board. With a business class I still had to pay extra for a carry-on they said it was okay but then they changed their tune. I get it's in a different location but the same company is telling me two different things that ended up costing $160. On top of that, when I finally arrived at IAH they didn't have my skateboards... so I paid $160 for them to lose my boards."

Výhody: "My experience on Turkish Airlines exceeded expectations. Boarding was smooth and the flight was on time. Service was excellent and staff professional. The crew was courteous but the hostesses could try smiling a bit more. Their courtesy was appreciated but it felt very methodical, more of an obligation and not spontaneous. The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. I expected to see a wider selection of more recent and award winning movies. Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."

Truly annoying! Also - for some reason service was done by only one person per aisle which meant I had to wait really long time before getting both food and drinks."

Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Výhody: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Nevýhody: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

Nevýhody: "Staff where so unhelpful that I missed my flight and then refused to offer any assistance as to how I could remedy this situation. This cost me over €180 which is a weeks food and stay for me. Don't fly with these guys or with air Croatia."

Nevýhody: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Nevýhody: "Movies were dated. Crew spoke limited and broken English, not good enough for international flights."

Nevýhody: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."

Výhody: "The crew was very comfortable speaking two languages and friendly. They also had air conditioning! This was great because it was strangely hot in Paris and we were sweating profusely. And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."

Nevýhody: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

Nevýhody: "Flights are always delayed, boarding is a mess, CDG is awful. Avoid unless nothing else available"

Výhody: "The crews were nice and polite, food was good, in an hour we just ate and drank which was awesome. Thank you."

Nevýhody: "Please be more clear about the carry-on luggage policy. I was able to take everything with me on my way to Prague, but the attendant forced me to check a bag at the gate. The requirements were very vague and I don't understand how you could bring something on the first flight perfectly fine, and then get stopped on the return flight."

Výhody: "Food service was very good - and the crew kept going even after we hit turbulence. I'd already been served, but I know from past experience with other airlines that there's nothing worse than smelling the hot food and being told that service is being discontinued,,,,while you're now hungry"

If the flight offers snack and two meal options, at least one should be vegetarian to accommodate this common population of passengers."

I’m used to having one or maybe two movies to choose from but TAP has an entire movie library on the back of each seat. I watched 3 new releases on my 7.5 hour flight. The food was also tasty and I technically had two meals. Great job, TAP!"
Nevýhody: "The only thing that could be improved is the boarding process in the Lisbon airport. The boarding time for the flight was one hour before takeoff and the gate area was too small to hold the total number of people taking the flight. We also didn’t board until 30 min before the flight so passengers were waiting in one big crowd because it was impossible to find a seat or to even form clear lines for boarding."

Nevýhody: "At checkin in Miami, Agent at the counter was utmost arrogant with no customer skills whatsoever, lack of manners, the whole counter operated like some bad dream circus. Luggage fee you learn about at checkin is the cheapest scam ever!"

Výhody: "Nothing. Their mistakes caused an awful experience. And a 24 hour trip from the east coast to Italy is ridiculous."
Nevýhody: "I was livid by their unapologetic nature, their disorganization, their delays, the fact that every customer service agent said something different, the fact we had to pay for bags twice as a result of their delays. We should t have to do extra work to get reimbursed after the fact. They should not charge us right the. and there. It’s stealing. They cost us money and we didn’t get what we paid for."

Nevýhody: "We had problems with TAP up front related to baggage fares and them keeping the $85 I paid for my son who is 2 meters tall to be in an exit row and then assigned to a different seat. He was miserable for almost seven hours."

Výhody: "Flight crew was friendly."
Nevýhody: "Not being told up front of having to pay for my luggage. First I was over charged on departure ($90.00) and also having to pay on return flight. Travel agent never made us aware of this."

Nevýhody: "You can't reach them via phone and they are horrifically slow and difficult to get ahold of."

Nevýhody: "1) I tried several times while traveling but was unable to figure out how to choose a vegetarian option for the flight. When I called customer service, after a long hold time, the woman I finally spoke to told me it was too late to order vegetarian and refused to help me. I have never flown another airline (Air India, Turkish Air, United, American, China Southern, etc., etc.) that did not make this easy to choose during booking or check-in and that did not already have a standard ovo-lacto vegetarian option on the regular menu. Vegetarians practice for all sorts of reasons, including religion and health needs. It's unacceptable to make it so difficult to meet your meal needs while trapped on a plane for nine hours. 2) The check-in agent did not know the rule about all remaining seats being opened for passenger choice three hours before booking and insisted we had to pay to get aisle seats despite one of us having a health problem necessitating her standing up and walking every 45 minutes. Then another agent told us we couldn't choose seats for free for our Porto to Newark flight when we check in for our Madrid-Porto flight because it wasn't technically three hours before the Porto-Newark departure. But how were we supposed to choose seats for the Porto-Newark flight three hours in advance if we are in an airplane flying to Porto at that time? This makes no sense. Seats should be opened for every leg of a same-day journey at the same time. The agents were unhelpful and unsympathetic. 3) This was an old plane without options to choose a film or show to watch. Instead, passengers could flip through a few channels and hope to find something of interest that was already playing -- there was no way to begin a film or show from the beginning if you landed on it in the middle of its running time. I cannot recommend TAP Portugal to any of my friends, family, or colleagues after this experience."

Výhody: "since it was an older plane maybe it had more leg room"
Nevýhody: "poor quality video and sound for watching movies on long flight attendants were brusque and ignored most passengers(except the ones with special meals) we were on connecting flight with little time in between to grab water or snack - so we sat on this flight for over two hours before we got any refreshments. Some passengers got refills before we got one. Poor execution. we had to check two bags on connecting flight (which we didn't have to do before) and it cost us time and money. Also they lost the two bags - got several days after we got back from trip huge line at immigration - we waited almost two hours will not travel on TAP again"

Nevýhody: "They were lying about a supposed compensation for denied boarding which was supposed to be handed out in Lisbon. I didn't expect this behavior from grown up people, and such a company in Europe. TAP should be excluded from star alliance."

Nevýhody: "This airline company was looking like a scam. I was refused the flight. Then promised compensation, which was then refused again. Treated like kettle. Simply corrupt company."

Nevýhody: "My flight to Miami was delayed due to weather. I missed my connection to LHR, therefore missed my TAP flight to Portugal. I called TAP (before the flight) and they would not change the flight because I went through a travel site. My $240 ticket was lost, and I had to pay over $900 for a new one. I doubt I will use an internet site again because I will unlikely get a refund and it was impossible to change the ticket. Feel awful!"

Nevýhody: "No USB port"

Nevýhody: "They cancelled the flight, losted the baggage and couldn't help to resolve the problem. They also lied about the flight they wanted to replace to solve the problem which even didn't exist in their company. So, I will never ever take the flight from this compound again."

Nevýhody: "Lisbon Airport needs best practices tidy up: layout, cleanliness, boarding process is not good. Passport Control is much improved over last summer: all positions were manned today!"

Nevýhody: "After we had to turn around to BOS because of a technical issue with the plane, the customer server was really unhelpful! I ended up figuring out a completely other flight, through another airline and booked myself on that flight. I worked with this Airline almost an hour to get myself on it and then it seems that it took TAP Portugal that hour PLUS SOME to suggest alternate flights to other stranded passengers."

Výhody: "Comfortable seats, no extra charge for blanket and pillow, gluten-free meal was quite good, provided water throughout the long flight, in-flight entertainment offered fairly recent movies, cabin crew were respectful."

Výhody: "Stay away from TAP. I wish the people at the counter were just rude - they were tormenting us and lying to me about my luggage. When they found out I insisted on not checking my bag, they told me they would "keep it" in the meantime. Turned out they went ahead and threw the bag onto the plane. We ended up having to go find it at lost and found. They initially told me it was going to only take 5-10 mins to retrieve my luggage, but then 40 mins passed and still nothing. My poor mom had to wait by the empty belt - and boarding started and the luggage still wasn't there. They forced us to pay 35 euros (it's principle, not the money) when their policy said nothing about it when I booked it on the website. My mom was in tears and I had the worst few hours of my life. TAP - you are disgusting. It takes a lot for me to be upset but you really did everything out of your way to make us suffer. Even told us we might have to miss our flight. You put a huge dent on my trip."

Výhody: "Flight was overbooked. TAP Portugal removed me from the flight without warning (I was already at the airport, with plenty of time to spare), and is now making it nearly impossible to get a refund. Would NOT recommend flying with them."

Nevýhody: "Lisbon airport. Very antiquated, under-developed compared to other European capitals. Also, for major inter-city flights, it shouldn't be necessary to use external stairs to board a plane these days!"

Nevýhody: "TAP rebooked on SATA flight to Boston. There was no inflight entertainment for a 7 hr flight! not even one small TV where you could watch. The food was chicken but it came with pork which i cannot eat. Upon arrival to Boston they lost my luggage and did not seemed concerned when i reported it. There were several outfits for family members for a religious holiday in a few days. They promised a call back regarding my luggage but they never called. The number i was given didnt work. I had to call several numbers before i was able to find someone to discuss my luggage with. The lady on the phone told me it was probably because I switched from TAP to SATA. However I didnt choose this change, TAP rebooked me. They could not assure me they would find or call me back. i ended up getting it back 6 days later. without an appology or any kind of compensation."
