When I asked her to put her chair up, she got mad. She went to staff to insist she could put her chair back. I showed them that I was indeed in a back brace for a health condition and that I needed opportunities to move and shift, cross legs to release tension, etc. Staff sided with the rude woman, who, given the chance to move to an equal seat on the opposite aisle where she could recline, refused to move. I was very frustrated and have never been treated with such discrimination regarding my health concerns."

Výhody: "My flight from Chicago to Doha was late to come in and there was a gate agent waiting for us and two other passengers with a sign when we got off the plane. He told us that our flight had already left but he would get us on the next one. We ended up getting seats on the next flight but then were also given the option to get a temporary visa and explore Doha for the night. We opted for the comped night which included a very nice hotel and $100 in meal vouchers. We absolutely LOVED Doha and the hotel and food was fantastic! I don't think I have ever received better service from an airline or a hotel. We ended up walking around Souq Waquif and the downtown until 1am (we are two young females!) with no issue and just used Uber to get to and from the hotel. Everything was so well laid out for us! No complaints whatsoever!"

Nevýhody: "1. rude staff - i stood in Jburg at the counter for 13 minutes (i checked my clock) while 8 staff ladies spoke among themselves in a myriad of languages. FINALLY one lady asked if i had been helped! I said no and she was clearly less than thrilled to be the one to help with my question. i literally just wanted to ask if my seat assignment was a window, middle or aisle, but it was like i was the bane of her existence and i interrupted their social hour. On my outbound flight (ORD to DOH) I also watched three staff members be beyond rude to guest after guest at the check in counter regarding baggage when they came forward to "re check-in" which was a new requirement for most people. There was a lot of general confusion on behalf of the consumers and the staff was NOT the least bit patient or helpful in explaining what they needed from us or why this flight had different procedures than normal. I still don't know why they were so fussy about baggage and made everyone re check in at the gate in fact. And they didnt do it to my baggage so i have no idea why they were so rude to some and completely left others alone. (didn't seem to have to do with size, carrying of electronics, i don't know?) 2. the physical flight - you changed my original flight time to something that was REALLY close for my connection from DOH to CDG, so you instead bumped me to a later flight without consulting me. it would have caused me to miss a connection flight I booked separately through EasyJet from Pairs to my home airport BIQ. I had to figure that out on my own. RUSH through Doha to make my 35 min connection and barely was allowed to board my onward Paris flight by the Qatar gate staff which was only cutting it close as a result of YOUR changes! Yet i was treated like i was somehow "late" and wouldn't be able to board ??? Again incredibly rude staff. Subsequently you lost my luggage because the connection was too tight. i landed on Friday and it didn't catch up to me until Tuesday. Not one person has said sorry or offered any restitution. And this is honestly what upsets me the most. I doubt anyone even reads this. pathetic. I work for a travel club and since Monday (so in 4 days) I have actively reached out to 4 clients to cancel and re-booked their Qatar airways flight to another carrier to get them to Johannesburg. They will be doing the same safari experience I did, but I will NOT recommend and book my clients on Qatar after my experience."

Qatar Airway was delayed for more than an hour at the first departing airport! NO APOLOGIES OR MUCH EXPLANATION OF ANY KIND!! This is just how mindful and courteous they are. It sets the base tone of what this airline is made of. Then at the connecting airport, they closed the gate minutes before the departing time claiming the gate closes 20 minutes before the departing time, knowing they are leaving customers behind who has checked in and just haven’t arrived at the gate yet. And I arrived the gate minutes before the departure time. They can’t wait?! If so, why is it ok for them to delay for an hour without any explanation not to mention apology? Sure there are RULES. But remember what kind of airlines will have tons of rules that will guarantee you to fail?! Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. I emphasized that is not the case. As I get irritated, guess what they did? They managed to come up with another excuse that in or"

The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Also will this incident to all my friends after going back to USA. Very very bad experience. Sat down 24 hours at Airport without food and sleep. Mostly will file a case against Airlines."

They were impatient and impolite, unresponsive when I used the steward attendance call for water or to move my child's tray (for over two hours)... there was much I didn't care with this airline, from their customer call service (I filed a complaint) to the state in which my box arrived in Mumbai (again filed a complaint but no one folllowed up with me). I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone, especially if traveling with a child."

Výhody: "I booked a round trip flight from IAD to NUE with stay over in IST. Try to make change flight date IST to NUE. I was told by the Turkish air agent to buy a new on way ticket from IST to NUE and use the origenal ticket from NUE to IAD and I did. The the nightmare begun when I try to get back to back to iAD. I was told my ticket was cancelled and have to buy new ticket. After 7 hrs exosting fight and inconvenience when they found out that I was not easily going to be hustled out $1100+ they finally reissued my tickets. During this time I witnessed how 10-20 customers old and young were being hustled for more money and some crying out of frustration. It was one of the worst experience I've had in my 45+yrs traveling experience."

On top of that the airport had boarding groups which were completely ignored and the entire boarding process turned into a cluster. The flight from America to Turkey was great but once you are in Europe the service is horrible. If I cannot get a direct flight, I will not use this airline again."

There was over 50- 100 people in line for the turkish airline counter in the 8 hrs I was at the airport. The staff did not attempt to organise this line, and it became a crowd of pushing people. I am extremely unhappy with the ground staff at Istanbul airport. they were rude and disorganised In the airport its self there is no free wifi and call cards cost $15."
