While in DXB, they entice customer to buy all duty free and then when it comes to boarding, you will be 'shocked'. No more than 10kg allowed. 3. You will be directed to read instructions before boarding. Then the corruption deal starts...read point 4 4. The man will say, remove anything in excess of 10kg or pay extra luggage, knowing very well, that people buy duty free at DXB. 5. Once you start negotiating, then the deal-making starts... 6. By contrast to larger airports it is not at all clear where to go once you are in the departures area - fine if you are familiar with the airport, but confusing if not. I discovered I should make my way through secondary security into the departure gate area via a small unsigned door. There followed a good deal of confusion among the passengers as to where we should be waiting, and whether the flight was on time or not. Another area which could be improved, but not by the airline, is the listing of departure gates for connecting flights in Dubai. There are so many flights cycling on limited screen space, so you have only a few seconds to locate your flight, from around 90 or so, before having to wait for the cycle to repeat."

But what was even worse, is that they didn't allow me to check my bag in the last connection gettting to the US, instead they made me check it from my original destination which made me loose almost two days of work without giving me a logic response on why I couldn't check my bag from my inbound flight to the US. By the way, this protocol from TSA is terrible. No internet in their flights No chargers plugs in all of their flights (including the ones that take you more than 4 hours) Lunch in their 15 hours flight is mediocre, everyone was starving since they only gave us one mini empanada."

The support staff when I called again put back the seats for my return flight. I tried to check in online. Not working. Tried at least 50 times. Not working. Called the support staff. They told me to call the check in support center. I called the check in support center at least 50 times where mi was told the staff are busy and could not answer the call. I called at 6:00am next day where I was told by the check in support staff that my ticket had an issue which they did not know exactly what was the issue but prevented me to do a check in. I drove more than 2 hours to the airport where finally I could check in but I was told that my return flight seats had disappeared again. They managed to put them back again. I hope this time it’s finally ok. The support staff on the phone told me I could get reimbursed for the seat reservation I had paid for for the on going flight. The Swiss staff at the airport told me there would be no refund. Swiss is terrible"

He was my point of trust and warmth. That was not only extraordinary service, but human compassion at it's finest. Furthermore, the head attendant, who's name I could not get in the haze of the flight, escorted me from the plane to the cart who took me to the lounge to recover until my next flight. Thank you, Swiss Airlines, for having employees who knew how to triage my illness, and took care of me like family would. I appreciate it greatly and will surely be booking all my future European flights on Swiss. Please extend my gratitude to the flight crew on my Athens - Zurich flight on 5/28."

Nevýhody: "For a 5' 4" person like myself, arm and leg room were barely minimal, Economy seats were crammed together and were not ergonomically designed for comfort or support. I was fortunate to be able to move from my center seat to an aisle seat once the flight was in progress. As soon as I did, the air around me was cooler and made for more comfortable breathing. In the center seat, the air was still and close—very uncomfortable. Poor communication regarding passport control protocol at the departure gate: A temporary station was set up, labeled Passport Control, but no SWISS agent announced what was happening. I had just gone through a passport control line on a lower level so I didn't think I had to go through a similar process at the gate. Most people around me also didn't know whether they had to go through the process at the gate. Once agents had been questioned on the subject several times, they should have made a general announcement to inform everyone at the gate. They did not. The food on the plane was the usual poor quality fare for economy class—either highly processed or overcooked and much too salty. Ugh."

Výhody: "The crew on Swiss Air is very welcoming. The food was pretty good and there was frequent beverage service, so you don't get dehydrated like on other airlines."
Nevýhody: "The seats decline fairly far back into the next seat. As a result, some of the passengers got agitated if they do not go with the flow and decline like dominoes. Both legs of the flight we had the people seated behind us kicking and shoving our seats. One gentleman was kicking my seat for a couple hours and made a scene on the outgoing flight. The stewardess addressed the gentleman and explained that I had to decline my seat because the seat in front of me was declined. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me, so every time the gentleman kicked me, it not only hurt my back, but my knees. The couple behind us on the return flight jumped the line to get onto the flight, kept kicking our seats and then pretended they did not understand when we asked that they stop. I think the pilot should address the issue upfront so this toddler like behavior does not go on. I am not sure if it is common behavior, but not something I have experienced on an American carrier."

However in the inbound trip SFO Valencia l was able to carry the very same carry one with the same weight on the plane. First, it's not acceptable to limit carryon to 8 kilograms for trips including transatlantic segments. I fly a lot with Delta / air France and they have higher limit as it should be. And second, criteria should be applied consostently across Swiss. Why is it no problem from SFO to Velalencia, but it is a problem from Valencia to SFO? Also, online check-in is horrendous and unacceptable in this day and age. SUPER slow and cracked a couple of times on my mobile device"
The flight was good, no issues to complain about.
They need more staff to work at check in desk or change flight hours. There were 2 flights of LATAM at the same time and other 2 flights near my flight hour so the line to check in were too long and it didn’t move fast. I understand that now they take more time because they have to check many papers because of COVID-19. But I nearly miss my flight. I barely arrived to the gate 5 minutes before departure time! And obviously this things leads to delay.
No option to reserve a better seat. I was allocated the last seat in the middle in the last row at the back of the airplane. Completely full airplane, which again made me nervous due to COVID-19 risks of getting infected. Crew was very efficient, though.
I had my seat reserved since the day I bought my tickets(3 months in advance) and even after checking my seat confirmation on the same day of my flight they changed my seat during the check-in. I have a broken foot and was accompanied by another person. I had to fly in a seat that was not appropriate for my broken foot situation and without my companion next to me. This airline does not respect its customers.

This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Nevýhody: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."
Nevýhody: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"

Výhody: "We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

Nevýhody: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

Nevýhody: "We waited quite a while to check in our luggage at the Birmingham airport. Staff showed up at the counter only 2 hrs before the flight."
