For the people reading this review who might think my kid would have been messy or cranky on the flight so we were treated this way, that was not the case, she not even cried once or made a mess. Same as my previous flight with crew, Crew were so late in responses, my wife actually walked to their place 2 times to get milk for the baby. Also she was not served food at all when they served breakfast. We requested Hindu meal and I was served hindu meal and she was missed and when they served lunch she was told she has not requested prior to the flight and can only be served a regular meal, which she gladly accepted. Kid was not served any food again, so we gave her solid from our meal. When we requested some food for the baby she was given a banana baby food(Kid did not even eat it). Taste of the food was edible(Not great). Overall do not fly emirates with a kid"

Taking things away feels worse than if we never had it before. Abu Dhabi Doha and Sharjah are all near and cheaper to dxb and it’s tempting to switch as they offer a comprable service. Also dxb is overcrowded itd a long taxi and walk depending on your gate."

I was asked to pay $1200 to get on to the next flight (without any warning that my subsequent segments will be suspended) so I bought an one way to Dubai from NYC. Then my subsequent flights were all suspended and I had to buy a new set of flights for the remaining of the trip. I didn't get to take any of the flights I purchased through Kayak."

Nevýhody: "Was sitting in 41D. By the team they came to my seat, they ran out of the standard vegetarian meal. I was told I 'had to pre-order' the veg meal, although it had never happened in the 10+ long haul 14-hr flights I've taken with Emirates in the past. I was under the impression you only had to pre-order special meals like religious (Jain, Hindu) meals and not the std veg meal. Emirates should advise so while booking a ticket. Secondly the flight attendant who was telling me this was INCREDIBLY rude. This was extremely uncharacteristic from Emirates crew as I had always come across very pleasant flight attendants. This particular attendant constantly, and very indifferently, asked me if I wanted chicken or lamb, despite me repeatedly saying I am a vegetarian. This continued for a couple of minutes, and then she got flustered, rudely asked again if I want to eat or not. I said I am not going to eat a non-veg meal, and then she dragged the tray away. Without offering me any kind of veg alternative (Emirates carries pizzas as well in this long haul flights). I ended up not eating anything for that meal. Extremely unpleasant experience which was not expected from Emirates."

Nevýhody: "I asked when i got my ticket for a window seat and he said he gave me one but he did not in the two flights I got. I requested the crew for a window seat if possible since I had been feelin nauseated, it did not help that the guy sitting next to me had a really bad breat and smelled bad. They offered me a sit in the middle of the plane, that did not work well because I was feeling sick, being in between a big guy and a bigger lady was not going to help at all. There was an older crew member and she seemed to be kinda discussed with the trash even though she was using gloves. Food was ok but not the best. To top it off I told them that the headphones connection wasn’t working and they only brought me a pair of new headphones. I tried mine and they didn’t worked, so the whole 8 hrs of flight I was watching movies with sound only from on side. They didn’t even bother, I guess cuz I am economy? Not sure I did see some free chairs in the lanes between economy and first class but they didn’t even suggested that so I decided to suck it up and sit on my assigned chair. The bathrooms where dirty and smelled reaaally bad from the beginning that really was disgusting to be honest. I can let go many things but not that. I had to help the passenger sitting next to me cuz he didn’t know how to do anything and didn’t speak English, he was an older man, with signs I was able to show him how an airplane works. I never complain about flights but this one was tooo many little things. Oh and what about an international flight where I have to pay for a second bag! Really? I did it on my way to Europe and I thought I payed both and then I had to do it again. Whatever money I thought I could save was a lie because I ended up paying a lot more adding the bags and additional transportation for home based on the airports. I am not satisfied at all with the flight experience"

When sitting upright and the person in front reclined, i looked at their head and if I crossed my arms, it would touch the seat in front. Could not pick up pillow that dropped on the floor, could not bend around the seat in front. Very hard to get out to use the toilet. Felt very claustrophobic."

When I did the check in in Prague and got my boarding pass the told me that the system picked me to have the additional random checkup at Zurich airport. Its ok. If it’s done for security reason why to tell the people ahead of time that they will have additional checkup of bags and personal stuff. If you want to do it for security reason do it ( I want to be safe) but don’t do it for the check mark , it doesn’t make any sense and doesn’t protect us."

Nevýhody: "the boarding was poor, we waited in line to board and they did not announce to us that we need to have our ticket stamped before we got to the door, as a result we were sent out of line once the ticket was stamped we had to rejoin the line from the back. When i got through they then said something was wrong with my ticket in which they took it and I was pulled out of the line. they should try to the ticket check and the boarding line at the same time"

They will pump you off a flight that you purchased because they are over booked and expect you to be ok with it. No customer service at all."

The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

Nevýhody: "The communication was not what it should have been. While in Detroit, we were often left for extended periods of time with no update or information as to when we would be able to complete our flight. I realize they were at the mercy of O'Hare, but they should have made some announcement every 15 minutes or so just to "keep us posted" if nothing else. Also, there was quite a bit of confusion for passengers whose final destination was Detroit. I had to explain to the Flight Attendant that they needed to explain to the passengers why they couldn't deplane there. She phoned the pilot and he provided an appropriate explanation. This really my only complaint."

International airlines tend to be better than the US-based ones, and Turkish Airlines was no exception. We flew from SFO -> IST in March 2016 and they were really milking the fact that they're in the new Batman vs Superman movie with ads on the in-flight magazines, a fancy bat-shaped trifold menu, on-board amenity bag, and even showed trailer after the safety video. At Istanbul, we saw another plane that was completely wrapped with the Batman vs Superman logo. Haha The service was very good, food was good (they even had the chefs greet people as they got on and off the plane), and they had a great selection of movies/entertainment. Despite all the hours I have flown, I'm not good with sleeping in economy seats and while the seats are good, I still can't sleep in these. I'm about 5'-10", average build, and didn't have a problem with legroom or seat width. I like that they also give out this little amenity bag with fluffy slippers, earplugs, lip balm, and I forget what else. It's embroidered with a Batman vs Superman logo on it. Not bad! Earbuds are also free, but I don't know the quality because I used my own. After taking off, they'll serve a meal, pass out drinks (fresh lemonade is only available when originating from Turkey), and then dim the lights and leave you alone. A couple hours before landing, they'll pass out drinks and and another meal. I didn't try, but you can request a cheese sandwich and drinks any time. The only difference with this airline is that everywhere else, the flight attendants will ask people to right up their seats during meals. They don't here and you have to ask the person in front to please sit up so their seat isn't all in your face. Turkey actually has a city called Batman (near the Syrian border), and some ruins called Metropolis (near Izmir). No, Turkish Airlines doesn't actually fly there so their ad copy is a little wrong. We didn't get a chance to visit either of these places, but it would've been cool to check them out."

The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."
