Nevýhody: "Boarding this flight consisted of minimal organization on the crews behalf, the Gate's security machines were off, people scattered everywhere with not enough seats to fit everyone. When entering the gate (with security machines turned off keeping in mind everyone has already passed general airport security and is only trying to enter the gate. Staff would direct passengers towards an attempt at creating a boarding queue. Once passing the gate doors and walking towards the queue directed by staff, it seemed to be a normal occurance to have another staff memeber shout at you and redirect you another way. Getting scolded by gate employees and requested to remove all electronics turn them on and being requested to remove most clothing items at the gate while everyone is watching with security machines off while only selecting a few passengers seems to be a regular occurnace in Doha & with Qatar Airways. People standing all around, no queues were initiated by staff, instead staff would push through passengers to get to the front instead of propretly annoucing the boarding through an intercom. No matter how loud staff was screaming their sounds were drowned out by the passengers which turned boarding a full translatlantic flight into a chaotic scene. Once on the flight I noticed the headphones provided were broken, I politely requested a new pair...from 3 different employees...which took over 20 mins to replaced. Qatar Airways prides itself on quality unfortunately as an economy passenger I have yet to experience any of that other than when it comes to good on flight entertainment."

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Nevýhody: "It seems like Ukraine International Airlines runs a shake-down operation on carry-on baggage fees. The first time I traveled on the airline to Kiev, they let me bring on my carry-on bag and didn't weight it or seem to care. When I booked them to leave Kiev for Dusseldorf, however, things were a bit different. I brought my usual carry-on (weighing around 13kg) through the various security checks, and sat with it at the gate. At the last possible moment when we're about to board the bus for the plane, they motion me to come to the desk and say, "You can't take that bag. It's over 7kg." 7kg! This unusually low carry-on limit is not specified on the ticket when I purchased it, on the boarding pass, or on any other easily visible document. Only when you click on the "baggage limits" link on the boarding pass and reading it carefully do you figure out that your carry-on has to be super light. At the gate, they pulled out a hand-held hook scale, weighed my bag, and declared it overweight without even telling me how much it weighed, then demanded that I cough up 66 euro (USD$77) or miss my flight. There were several elderly people on the flight who did not have cash or credit card and were distraught and publicly wailing because this was the first they had heard about needing to purchase luggage fees. It is possible that in their documentation UIA do mention the limits and fees, so what they do may be indeed legal. However, there are deceptive practices happening here, as this has never happened to me in decades of travel. I have never seen this many distressed elderly passengers. What UIA did was pure and simple theft. Word to the wise: if you buy from Kayak or any other third-party operator, go into the site of the vendor of origin (in this case UIA), figure out their baggage rules and pay for extra baggage 24hrs before the flight. Either that, or fly a more user-friendly airline."

Nevýhody: "On the return leg, we had to pay an extra $85 luggage fee, that we didn't have to pay when we left. And no it wasn't overweight charges."

Nevýhody: "We were two passengers and had only one luggage, which was 26 kg, they told that was overweight 3 kg and we paid for it 50 EUROS. I know that one person should have 23 kg luggage, why is 26 kg a problem for two person? it was very unpleasant fact."
Nevýhody: "There was no organized way to get on the aircraft. Lines and Queues were not used nor respected. I found this to be a problem on all 4 flights. Overall everything went well."

Nevýhody: "I almost missed my flight because of the accident on the road on my way to airport Boryspil. I tried to call customer service of UIA to ask what I should do in a case like this do I have to pay for a new ticket or I have any options. I was on phone for more than 20 minutes no one pick up the phone. What if it's an emergency and no one is available it's insane. I came to airport and stuff/employees of airport who are supposedly have to help you and actually take care of you if you are late or at least explain what should I do and where should I go.I was late and I couldn't find the boarding for my flight cause they already finished checking in people. Well I asked one of the employee for help so this lady sent me somewhere through the whole hall to the windows which were already closed I told her that I am super late and I am not going to make it. When I run there everything was closed the window next to it was different airlines but I saw a register girl so I asked for help what should I do my check in is over so the blond lady yelled at me that she is busy and have her things to do this is not nice. I run to the other employee she sent me somewhere else and the line is huge to get to register window and people are mad that I am trying to go in front of them without waiting for my turn I tried to explain that my flight is about to depart. So for my opinion these employees over there mostly don't know their duties they make you run for no reason when I explained my situation somebody should have taken me personally to a right check in window so I can faster get my boarding pass without making other people angry. I am not satisfied with their service in the airport, they are rude and not polite!!!"
Nevýhody: "Staff was rude also they selling warm beer for 5$!! I think it was last time with UIA"

Nevýhody: "Poor communication and lack of responcibiluty Awful Nobody even bothered to send email or text to inform that flight is cancelled I did all work if finding another flight myself Had to take next day flight with the king connections s it caused me to miss the event I was suppose to attend on Saturday, July 14. Kayak also wasn't helpful All Emails I got from kayak we're stating that flight is on time. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this services Both booking company and Ukrainian airlines failed No excuses for such way if treating clients that way!"
Nevýhody: "Flight Kiev Baku late 3 hours nobody came to inform us. Asymmetric luggage - payed one way only. Angry faces."
Nevýhody: "I never got on the flight. Poland didn't let me fly on my American passport, because I have a dual citizenship. I have a VALID American passport, but not a Polish one. This is totally vexing."
Nevýhody: "There was no Sky Priority line for check in, the lounge does not open until the flight is boarding."
Výhody: "Not much. UIA is like Frontier Airlines in the USA...bottom of the barrel...totally no frills...simply cattle cars moving people around like trucks move pineapples around. Ukrainians are used to this sort of thing - but you might not be if you're a foreigner."
Nevýhody: "Bought two RT tickets with baggage fees included from Kiev to Prague...and was not charged a baggage (or any other) fee on the way out. Had no other problems in any other respect either. However, on the way back to Kiev from Prague I WAS charged a baggage fee...by an "agent" that UIA uses to check-in its passengers in Prague...and it was not a small (or normal) baggage fee either. Rather, it was 50 euros per bag ($110 US dollars) in total for two under-the-allowed weight and size bags. OUTRAGEOUS!! I paid the fee with my Am Ex card and when I complained to Am Ex they froze the fee instantly. I think this "agent" will lose by the time all the dust settles. My point is this: BEWARE when you use UIA outside of the Ukraine...because it employs clearly unscrupulous agents."

Výhody: "At least we had space since this flight was not full. The seats are tiny and cramped so the extra space of an empty seat was needed."
Nevýhody: "Small, uncomfortable seats and poor customer service with this Airline overall."
Nevýhody: "The flight itself had no problems, but UAI has serious problems when it comes to checked baggage. A fee is required in order to check baggage, as with many other airlines. But the UAI method was complicated and required sending your payment information online without receiving back confirmation of receipt and payment. Because of this, in Kiev I was forced to pay (twice) to check in my bag even though I had already paid online, since there was no way to prove this and staff claimed they had no record of my payment. UAI needs to fix this now as I will not fly again if they cannot keep track of these simple issues."
Nevýhody: "I didn't find my bagage and the first flight was super late then I missed my second flight"

The Prague airport needs major improvements to better handle the number of people it serves. The check in staff appeared to be disorganized and not service oriented."

Nevýhody: "Their 767-300ERs are terribly antiquated. First of all, their plane has an 8 abreast seating arrangement when most airlines have 7-so you can imagine on a 10 hour flight how cramped."
